Isolated Russia Makes Friends: To Hold Military Drill With China; Strikes Multi-Billion Deals Qatar And Iran
The G-8 may be no more as the G-7 throws every possible case of harsh language known to man at the Kremlin, which obstinately refuses to back down, while re-escalating sanctions against a Russia which merely has done what the US does every single time its national interest abroad is threatened, but one thing is becoming ever clearer: while the west isolates Russia with ever stricter measures, Russia has decided to make some new friends.
China and Russia will hold a "maritime cooperation-2014" drill in East China Sea at end-May, Voice of Russia reports on its Chinese-language website yesterday.
China and Russia will conduct reconnaissance in the area within 3 days to prepare for the drill, the report says, citing an unidentified representative from Russian navy.
Earlier, the Russian military delegation of the Russian Navy, led by Viktor Karamazov Couchepi, arrived in Shanghai. Naval officials and representatives of the General Command of the Pacific Fleet met the Russian military delegation.
Such as Iran:
Iran and Russia are negotiating a power deal worth up to $10 billion in the face of increasing US financial alienation. The construction of new thermal and hydroelectric plants and a transmission network are in the works. Iran’s Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian met his Russian counterpart Aleksandr Novak in Tehran on Sunday in order to discuss the potential power deals, according to Iran’s Mehr news agency.
“[Expansion of] Iran-Russia relations are not only to the benefit of the two nations, but also are beneficial to entire region,” Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, stated in a meeting with Novak in Tehran on Sunday, reported Iran’s FARS news agency.
Plans include the construction of hydroelectric and thermal generating plants and a new transmission network. The possibility of Russia exporting 500 megawatts of electricity to Iran is also on the cards, said Mehr.
The strengthening of economic ties between the two countries is of heightened significance given both economic sanctions on Iran, imposed with the aim of encouraging Iran to cut its uranium stockpiles, and new economic sanctions on Russian officials imposed on Monday.
On Sunday, Chitchian reportedly stressed “the need for further expansion of economic ties between Tehran and Moscow, particularly in the energy and commerce spheres,” stated Mehr.
Moscow has additionally been discussing the trade of 500,000 barrels a day of Iranian oil for Russian goods with Tehran. The protracted deal, first reported at the beginning of April could be worth as much as $20 billion, and has rattled Washington because it could bring Iran's crude exports above one million barrels a day - the threshold agreed upon in the nuclear deal between the P5+1 powers - US, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany – and Iran.
And such as Bahrain:
The governments of Bahrain and Russia have signed a deal to cooperate on investments, at a time when U.S. and European governments are imposing economic sanctions on Russia over the crisis in Ukraine.
Bahrain is a U.S. diplomatic ally in the Gulf, and its decision suggests Western sanctions may not deter other countries from continuing to expand business ties with Russia.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Bahraini sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat to identify and work together on investment opportunities in their countries. Mumtalakat chief executive Mahmood al-Kooheji will join the RDIF's international advisory board, helping to formulate its strategic direction, the statement added.
The Bahraini fund is one of the smaller sovereign funds in the Gulf, with $7.1 billion of assets as of last September. The RDIF is a $10 billion fund created by Russia's government to make equity investments, mainly in the Russian economy.
If nothing else, at least it shows just how seriously the rest of the world (away from those G-7 members who are as insolvent as the US of course) is taking US sanctions and threats of retaliation. Meanwhile, back in the US, rigged stocks hit intraday highs on what we would otherwise call BTFWWWIIID... if only there was a D.

OT, is there any reason our banker-shill president has an alias? Is he hiding something?
He couldn't be hiding anything. The Democratic National Convention vetted him backwards and Forward.
I mean come on, Nazi Pelouzi signed off on him being a natural born whatever, etc.
Sealed records? Understandable. Nobody would want their Connecticut Social Security Number made public especially if they'd never lived let alone not born there!
Obama must be getting a real sore arse.
Don't forget, Hitler cozied up to Stalin and look what happened to Hitler. If I was China, or if I was Russia, I'd be rethinking this whole thing.
Is Merkel Hitler, and Obama Stalin in this comparison?
Russia just wants to be left alone and China would stop expansion once they reclaimed the territory and influence they held during the high Qing. We are the antagonist in all this, we need a war.

U.S. Taped Moscow Plotting Chaos
“Right now there is not a negotiation; there is a confrontation. I’m sad to report I’ve never seen such a complete, miserable, unaccountable, disgraceful walk away from a set of promises and understandings than what has taken place,” Kerry said. ““I’ve had six conversations with Lavrov in the last weeks. The last one was kafta-esque, it was other planet, it was just bizarre. Nobody is better at telling you that red is blue and black is white… That’s what we are dealing with.”

and fuck your 1st amendment, the rule of law (recording private conversations without consent) and the new racism: kissing ass/double standard with racial minorites via the PC police. this basketball incident has driven race relations to a new low.....the blacks are now becoming sissies/victims and at my local street ball court the blacks privately agree with me...if i recorded those dudes you'd really hear some opinions
these black street ballers are laughing at the whites for lining up and saying 'yes sir' to the PC police

Bath House Barry: "I have discoveed the US and UK were on the wrong side in WW2. Stalin tricked us into thinking Germany was the enemy. I am now declaring we are joining the NAZIs and attacking Russia."
The US used to hold all the high cards. With China's enormous holdings of Treasurys, the US had China over a barrel. We could repudiate the debt at any time using any excuse. The US didn't need a pivot to Asia. It was nothing short of a challenge to release the dogs of war. And what has the US gained from that ? An ally such as PM Abe who is rehabilitating the prestige of his family ? Does anyone believe a rehabilitated aggressive Japan has forgotten the humiliation of unconditional surrender and 2 atom bombs at the hands of the US ?
Suspicious minds might believe the US has an overly large pool of cannon fodder to dispose of. Perhaps an armed conflict would help the banker/military/industrial complex and reduce the number of welfare dependants thus contributing to a smaller budget deficit.
the enemy of my enemy is my friend, or something like that.
I'd say that's not 1:0, that's at least a 2:0, if not a game changer.
Let's take the Bahrain deal. If the corrupt monarchs dare to make that deal, in the current situation, despite USraels very clear demands, and despite their color-revolutions, which could hit them with ease, and the Ziomedia could easily put them on their target list, then this deal IMO is a very important indicator how the influence has eroded and how nations begin to move, when the hegemony is breaking up.
And secondly the Chinese, which have been silent in the last weeks. And suddenly - BAM! - within weeks they are able to conduct a maneuver with the Russians. That shows, the biggest holder of US-debt is not at all impressed by their politics and propaganda.
Maybe a few words about Putin and his excellent foreign minister, Lavrov: the Zionists control the five biggest news agencies, they control 1000s of TV-stations and Russia has only one real international voice: RT.com. But nevertheless Putin and Lavrov and the team around RT managed to make the world not only hear the authentic Russian arguments to build it's own opinion, but they even managed to outweigh the lies of 1000s of Ziomedia-stations, of the whole gigantic Ziomedia empire! Incredible.
What Putin has achieved, after he took power in Russia, when it was bancrupt and totally in the hands of Wall St., is already historic. But what he is achieving now, seem equally impressive. This man is real:

That is, as long as you're not buying the Ashkenazi/Khazar/Zionist interpretation.
All who put faith in God are blessed in the way of Abraham- conversely, all who put their faith in anything else are toast.
Sorry but I don't go for the Ashkenazi/Khazar yarn. That's some wackness propagated by Nazis, Nation of Islam bitches and Arab fascists. I've mentioned this before, but if Ashkenazis are of Khazar stock why were they speaking Yiddish in Poland in the 16th century? Shouldn't the lingua franca of Jews in eastern Europe have been some turkic-altaic tongue? Besides which, the movement of Jews from central Europe to eastern Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries is well documented. Also, according to the historians, only the Khazar nobility actually underwent a full conversion to Judaism. Whether the masses converted at all, and to what extent, is debatable. And after muslim conquest not too long afterwards, the kingdom (whatever was left of it) accepted upon itself the yoke of Islam.
And what if I buy the Sephardi/Mizrahi interpretation? It's practically identical to the Ashkenazi one.
But yes, I'm all for peace and blessings. I like to always be fight-ready though just in case.
Dang, Vivek! You don't deserve all those junks, imho. Although Vanga's predictions are hardly more specific than those of Nostradamus, those who disregard the esoterics do so at their own peril.

Benghazi Documents Point to White House on Misleading Talking Points
Judicial Watch announced today that on April 18, 2014, it obtained 41 new Benghazi-related State Department documents. They include a newly declassified email showing then-White House Deputy Strategic Communications Adviser Ben Rhodes and other Obama administration public relations officials attempting to orchestrate a campaign to “reinforce” President Obama and to portray the Benghazi consulate terrorist attack as being “rooted in an Internet video, and not a failure of policy.” Other documents show that State Department officials initially described the incident as an “attack” a possible kidnap attempt.

Hillary's a woman?
What amazes me, is that with the Obama and the Dems being so "pro LGBT" and the MSM/LSM in the tank for them, that Hillary hasn't "come out" yet.
No doubt they do not want to lose potential votes from those who still believe that she is straight. Some years ago, I spoke with some Florida lesbians who were having a real good laugh about all this. The GOP needs to "out" her for 2016. On the basis, that it's "ok" for her to admit it. She still wouldn't do it, because Billary can't risk losing votes in a close election.
What a caring response from someone who wants to be the next POTUS. We have already had Hope and Change. Now we're gonna be in for a whole lot of Caring.

Never invest your life savings in one type of commodity. Diversify... Buy coffee now. Start hoarding that fuzz. Tea too. Tobacco. If you can afford to, buy real estate.

Yes real estate is in a bubble, but not entirely across the country. There are some distressed properties out there on the cheap, that if you'd be willing to invest in in the short run (taxes, basic maintanence) will be able to yield you nice income in the future. You need to do some research for that though. Good luck anyhow. On my side, I'm getting into some small time horticulture, growing my own food. You can't go wrong with that.

Wish I could trust ocean seafood post Fuki-shima. Japanese cuisine and sushi are among my favorites. Sigh.
Well, at least there's freshwater fish. I do like pan fried trout that I've caught myself.
Sorry for getting off track. Only had a cup of coffee for breakfast and I'm thinking of lunch.
If you're suspicious of Seafood; buy yourself a sensitive radiation monitor; after you discover the fish are just fine, it'll give you a new perspective on :"news". Hint; it's all propaganda. all of it. have a nice day.
there is plenty of radiation around... but i agree with you, its not coming from fukishima. fukishima is just the cover.
"just the cover?" Some cover.
OK, now you must divulge The Secret.
Godzilla?
Mothra?
Pray tell.
Alpha emitters are probably the largest concern, and you need a scintillation counter for that. They are on the pricey side and prep work is required. You can't just hold a gamma counter to your fish.
Yep .. . . many years ago I was involved with nuke engineering. Was exposed to study of health issues related to radiation, but definitely aren't an expert by a long shot. (Again, it was a very long time ago and in the following years I was in entirely different fields. But, I likely have more familiarity with the subject than most laypeople.) I did some reading after Fukushima at various nuclear engineering & nuclear medicine websites and IMO the risk to reward ratio is such that I changed certain personal habits. I can get along without sushi. If evidence changes and is convincing enough to justify changing those habits, I will happily do so. I really do love sushi.
Shucks.
So nice to hear.
Should we exchange telephone numbers or precious bodily fluids?
Geiger counter won't cut it. The potential problem is with 'hot particles' which aren't able to be detected from background radiation with a Geiger counter. There's a difference from being exposed to radiation in the air impacting the skin, versus exposure to that which is ingested. (I agree that some of the YouTube videos with people using Geiger counters are incorrect in their application.)
If youre comfortable with Pacific seafood, fine. Maybe it'll turn out to be o.k. I've seen enough to want to be overly cautious (perhaps) on this. I don't know who will be 'right' and 'wrong' in the end. But back in the 30s,40s & 50s plenty of doctors thought cigarettes were o.k. too.
Wait until the three-headed fish appear at your local market.

Economic sanctions from the West are laughable. They know they will do nothing except drive a larger wedge between Russia, forcing them to become even closer allies with China.

Qatar??!! Does this mean the US invasion of Syria isn't coming?
Yes. Preparations for WWIII are progressing according to the plan. The first step in creating the Axis for the Allied to fight -- Check! But we probably need at least one more powerful enemy to join the Axis. Let's see ... Who have we got here?
I say we invade Grenada again. Shorter logistics lines.
The (un)rigged stock indices may be making highs, but the US is just outright delusional.

Good read..+1
yep. another +1!
Thanks for showin' up Asst Sec of State Victoria Nuland (nee: Nudleman) Kagan! What in the heck wudda we done without ya'?
Average American who watches t.v. 'news': "Nu Land ? Is that some place near Russia or sumpthin ? Or is that in Africa ?"
P.S. - I asked 8 people about 'the Ukraine situation' this last weekend. (And another half dozen who hadn't heard of it). All the 8 said Putin is 'doing bad things'. Afterall, they heard it on t.v. !
Americans believe its a new reality TV show, 'Spoiled Bitchy Housewives of Nu Land'
Propaganda is working! Just ask the Russians how they survived 40+ years of propaganda and live to tell about it. Hint, the underground is thriving there. Not so much here - yet.
It will be thriving here, and I'm not just talking about drugs. I know a "guerrilla" farmer, and as things deteriorate, I expect more to appear. More and more people want higher quality local food, while the USDA is trying to clamp down on the food system with onerous regulation that effectively prices small farmers out of the market if they want to be legitimate. It is a form of soft prohibition on unregulated food. The results are predictable, just like they were with the prohibition of alcohol and the current prohibition on drugs. If there is a demand for it, there will be a market, regardless of rules and regs.
If/When the economy & political conditions really get bad - I don't think they'll be successful with an attempted clamp down on good quality food. With many of these issues, people don't have personal experience with them. They take as 'truth' what they see on t.v. and they have no desire to look any deeper into things (Fear of cognitive dissonance.)
But food is different. We deal with it every day. We can see what's right in front of us. You can tell afterwards when youve eaten garbage vs good quality food. Heavy handed tactics, like SWAT raids on Amish dairy farmers, just focus peoples attention on the Reality that there is tyranny.
A lot of people don't know they're eating garbage because they've never been exposed to real quality. For a lot of people, if it doesn't come in a microwaveable container, or a box with simple directions, they don't know how to cook it. What do you think they are going to do if all of a sudden, to eat, they have to butcher a chicken?
They will learn fast or die. As a city girl, I had a rude awakening when I married a farm boy. But he showed me what life really was. I nearly passed out during my first slaughter but I was determined to show him I could do it. I have a tender heart and don't like to kill. My husband will chop the heads off the chickens and turkeys for me and I can do the rest but if faced with life alone I could do it myself. The difference is some wish to learn, experience and understand while others prefer a box and a microwave. Microwaving a box is like lobotomizing yourself watching television, a disconnection from the world in which we live.
Miffed;-)
My sister had never butchered chickens before, and wanted me to come and help for her the first time. She wanted to try the throat slitting method rather than the hatchet and chopping block, and she decided that next time, it's going to be the hatchet. If you're not used to killing, slitting a throat is a very visceral thing to do. I don't know why it is so, but using a hatchet to chop off a bird's head, or a shot gun to blast it out of the air is not nearly as visceral as slitting a throat.
I did all of the slicing of jugulars. Once they were dead, however, she had no problem with the rest of it.
try having to shoot a steer between the eyes with a .22mag and then jumping on it and slitting its throat while it is stunned....i had to do that at 15 to prove i was capable in case anything happened to my father.
eat or die. people would definitely appreciate their meals much more if they had to look in the animals eye right as it passed.
I watched my husband ( boyfriend at the time at 16) do this. After the guts were out all the boys told me because this was my first kill I had to lift the entrails into the tractor bucket to be dumped in the field for the coyotes ( I found out farmers had a kind of fuck off attitude towards health regulations). Not realizing it was a joke, I tried frantically to maneuver those heavy slippery intestines to no avail. I made one last heave on the stomach and caught it on one of the tines. That was one of the worst experiences of my life. People who tour my lab are often overcome with the smells. They have no clue what true bile in your mouth stench is.
Miffed;-)
One of the biggest problems is the GMO, once it pollutes the seeds, it ruins the farmland. 80% of US corn is now GMO. Super weeds are growing which are immune to roundup and so strong they are punching holes in very expensive tractor tires.
By the way, Wild Turkey and Four Roses are the only whiskeys that are now Non-GMO. German beers also but they are pondering using GMO corn now in Germany. Drink accordingly!
Since March 30, I've been planting a block of six cultivars of corn every week, and it's all non-GMO.
Navajo Blue Corn
Hickory King
Painted Mountain
Posole Corn
Earth Tones Dent
"Decorative" Indian Corn
I simply don't eat a lot of corn on the cob or sweet corn. I'm more into hominy and corn tortillas, and I know how to turn corn into hominy with the wood ash from my smoker.
Your handiness and knowledge of so many subjects never ceases to amaze me. I must admit some jealously. I wish at some point in my life to be able to unshackle myself from wage slavery and delve full time into your world. Though I'm light years ahead of my peers in so many ways, I am still troubled I haven't achieved close to a sustainable situation if the worst situation is realized. At least most would be deterred by my defenses.
Miffed;-)
I'm still not fully self reliant, but if I had to, I would become so very rapidly. Or, rather, with the help of neighbors, we could get by fairly well.
And a lot of this stuff is fairly simple. It had to be, as some of the methods are very old indeed, and didn't have the benefits of modern science and industry. While there are several ways to make hominy, I just put, in terms of volume, 3 parts ash to 2 parts dried corn into a pot and let it simmer until the hulls are coming off the kernels, then rince the hell out of it. I use 3 parts ash to 2 parts corn, when a lot of people do equal volumes. While I haven't logged and measured the times, it seems like the extra ash speeds up the process a bit. From there, you can dry it, grind it into masa, make posole, etc...
I have observed this at a demonstration at Jamestown among other early and Native American crafts. Native and early American herbology and medicine was shown at the Williamsburg apothecary. I was hooked. This is my new calling and hope to learn more.
Well, if you ever have the need I would be honored to be a secondary Bug Out. But, unfortunately in my case, the reverse would probably be more likely.
Miffed;-)
The next thing that I intend on learning is making lye from ash and making soap with it. If our JIT distribution system goes down, hygene will be very important. And besides, I'll be able to use tallow in shave soap. Now this is a bit more complex than nixtamalizing corn, but again, it was made prior to the industrial revolution. I suspect that its manufacture sort of evolved over time.
El Vaquero I tried the blue corn in the back yard the bugs always got to it before it was ripe. The sprayed barium from the skies or whatever it is kills off cucumbers and squash also. The vines just wilt. I have some beans that don't seem to be affected from it, also some tomatoes that do well as some other things like lettuce. Adding magnesium to the soil seems to help as barium and round up deplete magnesium.
Is this the plan? Boutillier is a researcher. I am not necessarily a fan of his prophet of Danie lamentations but the research is interesting. He is not a fan of my blog either as he suggested I leave a link but specify that he does not subscribe all of my theories either. :)
http://www.unveilingthem.com/PoisoningOfMankindCopperDeficiency.htm
I actually have no idea. I'm trying to use as few external inputs as possible, and that would include things like barium. I've planted 6 varieties for genetic diversity and two of them are either from my state, or very near the border, with soil similar to mine, climates similar to mine, etc... Those two would be the blue corn and the posole corn. My goal is to let that which does not survive me merely keeping the soil healthy not go to seed, let promiscuous cross pollination happen, and wind up with a cultivar that adapted to my climate, my soil, my methods and co-evolves with the pests and diseases.
And your username leads me to believe that you might just be from Ireland. If that is the case, a lot of the blue corns are going to have been originally cultivated near me. I have alkaline soil, 40f temperature swings from day to night, average 9" or rain annually, people from Phoenix have told me that, while it gets hotter in Phoenix, the sun here is more brutal and I live at around 5000' altitude. I would call that a bit different than Ireland. I would recommend either tracking down a blue corn that is from somewhere else, or tracking down as many different cultivars as you can and trying them all. You might find one that works and withstands some of your bugs better. Then again, you might not, and blue corn may be a no-go for you. *shrugs* On top of that, healthy plants are less likely to be swarmed by bugs.
Over 90% of potatoe consumed in Russia is still grown on family plots..
prepared so much more for everything in real
you have no idea....
Dmitry Orlov book gives some idea of this for English readers...
I'm rootin for Putin !. Can we make this a new slogan ? Who wants to like and follow, "Rootin for Putin" ?
A Russian writer (or two) should pen a book on how they survived after the fall of the USSR.
The USSR was a murderous state. But after it fell, millions suffered tremendously. Their way of life and the institutions they relied upon were pulled out from under them. There followed a time of chaos.
What did people do physically & psychologically to survive ?
Russians who went through that and then came to America would have a lot to teach us.
There are plenty of such books.
"What did people do physically & psychologically to survive ?"
Whatever they could, but still possibly as many as 9 to 10 million died as a result, though you don't hear about that ... ever.
Thanks for pointing that out. How did I miss the Orlov book which gets into the fall of the USSR from a macro and street level view ?
I ordered his book today.
Unfortunately, it is not thriving so much.
Critical thinking is a perishable skill, and most people everywhere really WANT TO BELIEVE that their leaders are good men and women.
Rats know a rat when they smell them.
Send a politician into a sewer and all the rats will leave. The politician will rename the Sewer a 'Contingency Bunker, or a Continuity of Government Protected Site.
The modern version of this rat will also seize the land, lease it to his own front company, then make the records of the seizure and the lease disappear in a records warehouse fire.
Damn how many trade deals is that outside of the dollar now? Up to 500billion in the last week i think
Yet the DXY is bouncing around the 80 mark like a Kansas City Faggot. Gold is drunk and not moving....makes total sense.

Kansas City does actually have a large homosexual population for the midwest. I grew up there and the Liberty Memorial was considered a "gay place".

As for the quote, "Kansas City Faggot"...that comes from Dr. Strangelove
"What in the wide, wide world of sports is a-goin' on here? I hired you people to try to get a little track laid, not to jump around like a bunch of Kansas City faggots!"

Becoming significant; and we just keep spreading hatred and distrust of us every time our "leaders" open their sewer holes and squeek.
