fonestar make you burger long time!

Hold on, you received 24 BTC but balance is near zero.
Where did the 24 go?
https://blockchain.info/address/16bY6d2wisEZ78pU6UaYf6fedmN4fBhsfF
Spent them on bath salts and virtual ho's.
Users of bath salts have reported experiencing symptoms including headache, heart palpitations, nausea, and cold fingers. Hallucinations, paranoia, and panic attacks have also been reported, and news media have reported associations with violent behavior, heart attack, kidney failure, liver failure, suicide, an increased tolerance for pain, dehydration, and breakdown of skeletal muscle tissue.
Visual symptoms similar to those of stimulant overdoses include dilated pupils, involuntary muscle movement, rapid heartbeat and high blood pressure. Many documented users have also had a history of mental illness.
That's strange?
(fonestar opened his mouth and confirmed what everyone was thinking)
fonestar just thinks hes a succesful bitcoin trader.
Holler at me though

Will the burger drone stand around idly playing with its iPhone while the line grows restless? Because it just won't be the same at McDonald's otherwise.
Is anyone dumb enough to think that as long as their wages stay at ~8$ hr they won't be replaced by machines....? This argument comes up way too often for how inane it is.
I haven't been to a mcdonalds in a very long time but I'm assuming the people running the tills also do much more than this machine does (i.e. grab orders, check on the fries etc.) hence why they haven't been replaced yet.
+1000000000000000000 James_Cole
"Fuck! In that case, I'd better work for three cents per week so that I can guarantee that a machine won't replace me!!!!!"
"Gee, I'd much rather work my guts out while I'm homeless than just be unemployed and homeless!"
Wouldn't the companies save a shitload more money if they replaced their CEOs with robots?
Idiocracy .. my favorite movie because it took reality and turned up the SATURATION on everyting a little extra to make it little more evident..
Other than that, Idiocracy is just another day from the persective of a ZHer's view..
No. Traders think that they are making profits while failing to understand what "money" even is. fonestar is a BTC hoarder.
fonestar No. Traders think that they are making profits while failing to understand what "money" even is. fonestar is a BTC hoarder.
----
I'm glad you are hoarding them. I hope you get them all and take them off the market. Bitcoins if the digital version of MLM or a pyramid scheme.
Severe Problem Number 1: Seeding Initial Wealth When the federal reserve "prints money", it doesn't just mail million-dollar checks to random Americans. It does one of two things. It either (a) purchases some other asset [generally US treasury bonds] on the free market, thereby injecting more cash into the system than there had been before, or (b), loans money to a bank, who will then loan it to other people who will then spend it.Importantly, the people on the other end of those transactions did not just get free money. They either sold an asset for cash, or they borrowed cash that they will eventually repay (with interest).
Bitcoin does not have a central bank capable of printing and lending bitcoins; it has an "algorithm" which through some convoluted mechanism allows bitcoins to be "mined". Essentially it randomly allocates bitcoins to early adopters. This is a very good system for early adopters (free money!) It is a nonsensical system for a real currency, not to mention being obviously unscalable (what happens when everyone tries to mine bitcoins all day long?). To solve this second problem, the supply of bitcoins is algorithmically limited, which is again good for early adopters. But that brings us to... Built in Deflation Bitcoin is not designed to be a functioning currency, it's designed to enrich early adopters. Again, that is why it is a scam. Period. Full article : http://www.quora.com/Bitcoin/Is-the-cryptocurrency-Bitcoin-a-good-idea/a... Get bitcons for free if you can and cash them in. Otherwise don't waste your time on a digital tulip bubble.
. . . and naked face eating.
and that poor guy is still alive too
and there were no bath salts found in the assailant. reefer madness?
WWZ patient zero
All those years I turned those tweekers away from the bar; those clowns were just huffin bath salts??
Balance sheet in date order with transactions (sent/recieved) in BTC.satoshi denomination totalling BTC24.68463214(sent) equivalent USD10,840.
Got my money on my bits and my bits on my mind.
Fair play. But during the time that these transactions went through, Bitcoin rose around USD1000 and is now back pretty near unch as of 12 months ago. I see you cashing out at end 13 highs and Feb 14 highs no? Might explain why you think BTC is Jesusbux, lol. It's batshit crazy though (or is it TEH FIATS?!!).
(means my total above in USD is meaningless. duh)
"Got my money on my bits and my bits on my mind."
Sucks to be you. I usually have TITS on MY mind. Go fondle you bitcoins some more.
Uhh...bitcoins are 4x what they were 12 months ago.
Know of anything else that has appreciated 400% in that time?
Give it a week.
400%? Hmmm... Tulips?
Are you sure it isn't dollars that have depreciated?
If your account has recieved a total of 24 BTC in deposits, but the current balance is zero, what do you think happened? Obviously 24 BTC were also sent from that address to other addresses. This isn't rocket surgery.
Rocket surgery, that's funny
fonestar makes a better funnel than a wall.
That is so anonymous. Tell us Star of the Phone, where did you spend those coins? That was like ~12k in clownbuxs. That is a lot of money to blow in less than a year. Are you addicted to cocaine?
Hmmm, if I could just understand this gobbledygook, then maybe, just maybe, I'd know what the hell you're talking about
http://blockexplorer.com/address/16bY6d2wisEZ78pU6UaYf6fedmN4fBhsfF
It's telling you fonestar is a 2bit chump.
BUY MOAR BITCOIN!!
Do you understand what the words "recieved" and "sent" mean?
when you recieve money, your balance increases. When you send money, your balance decreases. Please don't tell me I need to explain addition versus subtraction to you.
dude for real with a bitcoin thread breakout? Lame.
So it's like debit and credit?
yes, exactly like a normal checking account, with no ability to overdraft. Receiving money is a credit to the account, and then when you send that money to someone else, it is debited from the account.
And everytime that happens, your bank gets a fee. You've been skimmed!!
In the case of Bitcoin, the miners replace the bankers and get the fee. The mining pool operators are the new Central Bankers, and they, in turn, skim from the skimmers.
So it's like if Seigfried and Roy owed each other money then, Seigfried would give to Roy and Roy would give to Seigfried, yes?
Tell me, would they net out or actually give each other the exact amounts?
Do you know how basic addition and subtraction work?
wtf.... Lol
Have it yoour way!
is that a big kahuna burger?
The Hawaiian burger? Say What Again!

Idiocracy! Great movie and becoming more true every day!!!!!
MCD's was testing a program where order takers, for drive thru, were in India. That would make a lot of sense at $15/hr.
Carl's Jr. Fuck you, I'm eating.
Back in the late '80s, Arby's was testing touchscreens in one of their newer franchises. I believe they yanked them out because the employees were spending just as much time helping doofus customers figure out how to use the touchscreens as they would have if they'd just stand there and take the order from said doofus.
... and how much would the US worker have to accept in order to compete? Tell me again, how much do the Indians get paid? What is the cost of the technology spread to an hourly basis? (All they need is a little training and a fucking telephone, maybe a cheap laptop.) Meanwhile, the price of real estate means the US worker could never justify working for so little.
If your job cannot feed, clothe and house you then it is not a job. It is a "hobby".
What, if the minimum wage goes up then your income won't also go up? What part of the word, "MINIMUM" do you not understand??????????????
Correction: People will lose jobs due to jobs being sent overseas to countries that have a lower minimum wage. Apart from that, an increase in the minimum wage does not make anything unaffordable. At worst, everyone else demands a similar percentage increase and affordability of everything STAYS THE SAME. Oh, except DEBT IS DILUTED and so everyone is better off. Except the banksters, who will probably want to increase interest rates to make up for the diluted repayments on their debt. Or they may not bother. Because AS LONG AS THE BANKSTERS KEEP GETTING BAILED OUT THEY CAN KEEP LENDING MONEY TO IDIOTS AND MAKE EVERYTHING UNAFFORDABLE, ESPECIALLY THE PRICE OF REAL ESTATE WHICH KEEPS BEING BID UP TO PRICES THAT ARE UNAFFORDABLE!!!!
Oh yeah, and IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED, REAL ESTATE PRICES HAVE BEEN BID UP TO UNAFFORDABLE LEVELS. MORTGAGE DEBT AND STUDENT LOANS ARE UNREPAYABLE. Why do I mention this? Because the powers that be want don't want people to default on their loans (otherwise they don't make an income themselves - except for the bailout packages themselves), and they don't want to crash the price of real estate or forgive the student loans (because God forbid that they lose their phony asset valuations even if they do drive the rest of the world down the shitter while trying to keep the bullshit alive), and so the only option left is to create inflation and push wages up so that people actually have enough fiat in their pockets to make repayments. So fancy that. Perhaps it is the banksters themselves that are trying to protect their own interests that want the minimum wage to be increased! While you contemplate this idea, it may help to remember that minimum wage workers are paid the minimum because they have no leverage! And banksters bought the govt a long time ago. At this point, people like to mention the voting power of the Free Shit Army, but I don't believe them. Politicians make and break promises all the time. Election issues are ignored. Referendums are ignored. But a bunch of drug-fucked losers can guide govt policy? Bullshit. Half of them don't even know which party gives them the bennies. (Okay, your country may be different but I can tell you from experience, even my country's workers can't tell you which political party gives them the bennies. Not only that but I can cite examples where political parties have enacted policies that are contrary to their "beliefs". Confused? Not when you realise that they simply pick up from where the last party left off.)
Quick economic history of my city:
20 years ago: Mortgage on a good house cost half the minimum wage.
Now: Mortgage on Cheapest house in the cheapest suburb costs 100% of the minimum wage.
SO WHAT IS REALLY FUCKING UP THE ECONOMY????? THE MINIMUM WAGE OR THE PRICE OF REAL ESTATE????????
Quick note on the "power" of the "free shit army" : A Labor govt introduces a $7000 "First Home-buyer's grant". The opposite party, Liberal, increases that grant to $14000 and later on to $21000. Is the FSA really that dumb? Are they really that powerful? Did houses become affordable? No, the prices went UP. If 7 grand is now available for a ten percent deposit then prices can increase by 70 grand. (Oh, but what about repayments??? You can re-jigger the maths, but we've had our mortgage documentation frauds over here). Where is all the you-beaut "free markets" delivering competitively priced housing? That was a rhetorical question. What's more important at the moment is who benefited most from the First Home Buyers' Grant the BORROWERS or the BANKS ???
Would you like another EXTRA BIG ASS FRIES with your unemployment?
how could that not immediately come to mind right?
That movie is disturbing in its accuracy.
All new machines are guaranteed to be specially designed to be accessible to double-wide, fat-ass wheelchairs so as not to discriminate against those who should never be eating that shit anyway. You know, the wheelchairs only needed because the fat bastard sitting in it weighs 350 pounds and has diabetes from eating that at McDonalds 6-days per week.
Super Size Me!!!
(Please note, this is not in any way a generalized sick joke against the disabled. It is a specific sick joke against the guy in the XXXXL Champion sweatsuit. You know, the self-imposed ones. Oh shit, if you don't get it by now, I killed the whole joke.)
that's fucked up, the clinical term is "mouth breathers".
Sweatpants — the uniform for those who want their clothes to say "I've completely given up on myself."
we should make sweatpants with just one pant leg to make it that much easier for them to put on.
Who among us doesn't dream of looking like an obese mermaid?
McMonalds, your "extra dry" deliveries always bring a smile at minimum. Great stuff :-)
Obese mermaids....doesn't even compute....
LOL!!
the "sweatbag."
I think it's cleansing every once in a while to focus our pent up rage at the bankers and redirect it at fat mermaid people in sweatpants.
Bah - I like non conformist constricting clothing, that's all.
Momma says my pig heart scars make me sassy
a guy who used to be my best friend had the philosophy about buying anything " i wont buy anything unless it says "BIG ASS" on the box." everything was always some kind of joke to him, never could be serious about anything.
i quit talking to him about 7 years ago because i couldnt handle his level of stupidity anymore.
Yo, if ya can't laugh at the World (and the Humanz on it!), then you'll have to cry!
The minimum wage is actually the maximum wage for many.
Why? Are they unable to generate more than (say) $20 an hour value for an employer?
Of course, once you add in all the government-imposed costs of employing someone, an employee must generate probably close to twice the 'minimum' wage to be economically employable.
Big government... shafting minorities and underskilled people since FDR.
I did a quick run with my Windows calculator and I multiplied 30 hours (Likely work week for minimum wage person) by $8 (Rough diffrence between Federal minimum and $15) by the number of minimum wage workers given by Google (3.6 million). You get somewhere around $40 Billion. Let's say you give a subsidy to all minimum wage employers to pay for the raise. So for less than half of one month of peak QE you could get real increase in working peoples wages that could offset some of the MASSIVE over capacity in our economy. Not saying it would be easy as someone already makeing $15 is going to be an issue. But in a fiat world this could realisitically stimulate demand with far less moral hazard than dumping money on Wall Street.
Flame away ;-)
I agree I'd far rather see central banking largess introduce inflation by bailing out the populace, than the bankers.
But this article was about minimum wage, not CB iniquity.
"I agree I'd far rather see central banking largess introduce inflation by bailing out the populace, than the bankers."
I hear you, but it's never gonna happen. I think they have tortured the private workforce and at the same time rewarded the federal workforce on purpose. I believe at some point the private worker is going to get so sick of their teacher/cop/firefighter etc. neighbor making serious coin and rail against them. In response to this, the private worker will not be rewarded, but rather the government workers will have their benefits etc. slashed until they re in the shit house too. Unfortunately "they" have succeeded in creating that divide and so both groups are too concerned withthemselves to get together and rail against the banker class and enjoy some populace induced inflation.
I'm seeing this already. I know the math's not exact but I like to use the 80/19/1 ratio when talking economics in America. The 80 got thrown overboard During Regan's first term and int went into overdrive when Greenspan was appointed. The only relief they've found is when the market cycles have briefly returned asset prices within their reach. The 19 started going down around 2000, only kept afloat by debt. Fewer and fewer of the 19 participate in the ponzi, so they are on their weay to joining the 80. We need enough of the 19 to join with the 80 instead of chasing the 1. Maybe then we can stop this bickering over scraps and place the oligarchs heads on the sticks which they belong.
It's gonna take the people with the weapons (military and law enforcement) turning. Unfortunately the sociopathic pigs that make up the police these days don't give much hope. Alot of old timer "peace officers" are disgusted by these thugs with badges.
REMEMBER KELLY THOMAS
10,000% of Americans were sold to the banksters on 23 December, 1913. The 100% alive then and all future generations.
Remember: Kelly Thomas, James Boyd, Jose Guerena, Oscar Grant and the list is very long...
"When the American people and country are restored, those that waged war against them will have no quarter."
Parasites that kill off their feeding victims in turn kill themselves.
Besides, who will remain to pump their gas, take their tickets and run the turnstiles at the fun places for the 'special people'?
I say we just distribute spoons and have them dig and fill in ditches.
At least they would lose weight, rather than contribute to the obesity epidemic.
Nice statist fantasy. Maybe one day, the saints in the govt will save all the underpriveledged disenfranchisees and we will all live happily ever after. Maybe.
Here's my idea: Get the fucking govt out of the employment business!! It is NOT their place to see that each of us gets a "fair" wage. THAT is what started all the problems in the first place- govt involvement in private matters.
Min wage makes the max wage Zero for many.
Free market minimum wage = bowl of rice / gruel and a bed on the factory floor. Do they sound like consumers to you? What can you buy for half a bowl of rice?
Oh, you don't believe the minimum wage is a bowl of gruel? Well, I guess you weren't born back in the days before unemployment benefits and minimum wages. Take away unemployment benefits and minimum wages. Ten people, one job. None of the ten people own any land. What is the free market minimum wage? The guy that actually works and produces something - who does he sell it to? For how much?
The other big problem with the minimum wage is that it prices anyone whose maximum wage is below it out of the market.
There will always be some spastic that can't earn his keep.
True story - many years ago a boss hired some "special" people to do a menial task. He paid the "special" people ten percent of the minimum wage. The govt chipped in to make the "special" peoples wage up to a pension sized wage. After a few months, the boss sacked the "special" workers because they weren't even worth that much. In the mean time, many able-bodied people were unemployed. Fuck your "prices the weak out of the market" bullshit. When willing and able workers are on the unemployment scrapheap, your argument means jack shit. It means shit anyway. The minimum wage is supposed to be a minimum. Good people are supposed to be paid more.
This posting was the second posting on the list until someone bumped it way down after it got too many up ratings. Pretty pathetic behavior on someone's part here, whose role model must be former Mayor Bloomberg.
They got their training at Hacker News, where an anti-left comment gets you banned for life.
Actually, this posting was pretty dumb. "Oh, I'll work my guts out for fuck-all money just so I won't get replaced by a machine"????????????????? Give it up. The machine will win. What? You gonna work your guts out and starve anyway just to "keep your job"????? Like when the auto workers took pay cuts in order to keep their jobs, and then company used the saved money to build factories in Mexico so the workers all lost their jobs anyway?
Fuck, no-one talks about that any more, do they?
`I am your burger man ... ` - Buger Man, ZZ Top, Recycler
NOT
You feed it money and it shits hamburgers? Oddly appropriate.
Heard this description of a news cartoon this AM:
Fork in the road. One sign arrow says "Truth, Justice and Wisdom" ---->
The other arrow says "$.25 Hamburgers" ----->
Do I have to say which way the crowd was heading?
To physical debillitation?
Bundy ranch?
They'll still have to pay some techie $25 per hour to replace a circuit board or two every other day ... the administration will call that a job upgrade.
right, and they'll classify it as management so they don't have to pay overtime or even hourly wages beyond 40 per week.
F--k 'em.
Will the machine in back also spit in my food?
i likes the way you think
This "person" has more personality than the one that took my order last week...and probably has better hygiene!
And, that "person" will speak understandable English!
And so what ?? Useless economists are next ...
Say hello to your replacement !!!
http://www.ibm.com/smarterplanet/us/en/ibmwatson/
its just a POS machine, takes order sends it to kitchen and receives the money. it will not do the cooking
... yet.
now. http://www.gizmag.com/hamburger-machine/25159/
Come on!!!
I click your link and we now have the butt bra!
http://www.gizmag.com/bubbles-bodywear-bum-butt-bra/15708/
How tough could it be for a machine to make pink slime on a bun?
This might hurt a bit at first but you are in fight club now. Give this a try:
Inductive reasoning
Inductive reasoning is reasoning in which the premises seek to supply strong evidence for the truth of the conclusion.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inductive_reasoning
what with "social" media, amazon.com, work from home, and soon-to-be-seen burger kiosks like this one, no one will ever have to talk face-to-face to another human being ever again
They hardly do it now. I have younger colleagues who sit about 3 metres apart and communicate with one another electronically most of the day. Little shits deserve the carpal tunnel syndrom they're going to end up with.
Creating wealth at gunpoint, such a counter productive idea.
Speaking of which
This machine needs to be investigated by the DOD for possibly providing help to terrorist networks...
aapl buying bullshit headphones for 3 billion. sign of struggling product pipeline.
I bet people will order more food because it eliminates the shame of ordering four big macs.
I can't imagine the McD's patrons here are well aquatinted with the concept of "shame". If they were you wouldn't see that much spandex.
I don't know why so many people are against this. High minimum wages are fantastic as it is an incentive to further automate every function.
Just don't automate those cute Ukrainian girls. ;) On second thought, perhaps that wouldn't be a bad idea...
F--k this replacement and f--k MCD.
Iwas better off earning minimum of 2.60 in 1969 then I would be if I was making minimum today. You can argue about whether the minimum should exist or not but there is no f--king way starting wages of any sort have kept up in 40 years. With no other righting mechanism, a fair minimum must be part of the equation.
As for the McMachine, if I went to MCD I wouold stop, but since I don't...ever... all I can say is f--k 'em.
you are not embracing the beautiful deleveraging. There will be several billion of us that won't be needed. We will go away. It will be beautiful.
don't make me laugh while I'm busy getting angry, esp when I'm drinking beer.
Me too, albeit working my way through school in 1978. Had an old POS 69 Camaro that I could fill up at about 60 cents a gallon and was glad to get out of my folks home and be on my own. Tuition was an outrageous $4k per annum, so I didn't drive very far. Didn't have credit cards, didn't need student loans. Still managed to eat without food stamps and live without free health care.
Don't know how I ever made it without the man helping me out, but somehow did.
affirmative.
"I was better off earning minimum of 2.60 in 1969 then I would be if I was making minimum today."
That's just it though. The reason wages haven't kept up is because the purchasing power of the dollar has eroded immensely due to money printing by the Fed. I bring up this point all the time with my left-wing buddies who keep demanding higher minimum wage to keep up with inflation. It's a rat race you're NEVER going to win as long as the Fed controls the currency. Wanting higher wages does nothing to stop the Fed from stealing your money with ctrl+P.
Since most people that are poor or middle class earn the vast majority or their income from labor and not from assets that like being inflated, they get fucked over beyond belief when inflation destroys the purchasing power of the wages they earn. It's just another example of why inflation is so devastating to the poor and extremely beneficial for the (well-connected) rich.
In the end, it all goes back to the Fed.
I'm w you, but here we are.
I remember the day i walked into work, back in high school, to find that the minimum wage was increasing. My joy was short-lived as i saw the manager preparing to increase the prices of the products, across the board, by $.05 cents.
It only took a few seconds to understand that not only was my employer taking this action, but their competitors and suppliers, and all the companies that the customers worked for. It cheats everyone. If you weren't making minimum wage, you are now paying more for products and services than you were yesterday. If you WERE making minimum wage, that "raise" you got wasn't really "yours", as it just gets passed along up the chain.
This guy agrees with you. I do not:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLr5oWfoWRY
Is Peter Schiff telling me that you can double the minimum wage and it would only result in a 15% increase in prices?
And you think that is a problem???????????????
Or, as I have posted before, think of it in reverse: The Walmart workers took a 50% pay cut so that you could get Walmart shit 15% cheaper. Whoopee doo! Bargains here we cum! Are you going to thank the Walmart workers for their 50% sacrifice so you can get shit 15% cheaper?
And as I posted elsewhere on this thread:
20 years ago in my city: mortgage on decent house = 50% of minimum wage.
Now: mortgage on cheapest house in cheapest suburb = 100% of minimum wage
Real estate prices don't just affect the house a worker buys. It has an impact on the land on which factories are built, the profitability of retail centres. You cry about a minimum wage increase and say it will wreck the economy but totally ignore the effects of real estate prices??????????????
Fucking wake up and use your brain.
and BTW, I don't care if their divi is 4-5%, I'm not buying into their Co.
WOW!!!! AND THEY ACTUALLY SPEAK ENGLISH AT MCDONALDS FROM NOW ON!!!!!
Went to Chili's with the Girlfriend last week.
They had a touch screen doo-dad on the table that kept scrolling and flashing specials, and supposedly you could pay with it.
After half a meal of having it distract us I handed it to the waiter and asked him to take it away and since I'd finished my Margarita that he should just throw it in the trash; he said I wasn't the only one it annoyed by them.
I hope the FED is ready to auto-deposit funds into everyone's checking account so they can consume.
Why not replace all the bitchy, entitled, privileged food service workers now? Why the threats? Fuck 'em; they're dead wood, eaters, soylent green.
Is $15 the point at which these devices become profitable?
Useless feeders
I'm sure $2 / hour is probably the point where self-checkout schemes become profitable, at least on an operations level. There is a public image issue, however, to cutting your staff in half and replacing them with machines. I'm sure perception is the big thing holding back cooked meals coming out of vending machines.
I can tell you that I see a lot of people who refuse to use them, and will stand in the cashier line and stare at those self-check things with the kind of look you'd imagine they'd give peep-show booths...
Automat...everything old is new again.
The real tragedy will be the lack of video and selfies of employees rubbing their balls on the bread.
Not only that, but viral violent customer videos will become increasingly rare too!!
My fav,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhJzqH5INXc
I have a friend who works in MCD r&d. I don't know if any of you remember they tested taking drive through orders remotely via voice over internet. Then there is a fry making robot, and a burger frying robot. All these devices work, but proved to be too expensive. Labor at 15.00 an hour and falling tech prices and these items will be dusted off again.
Yummy! A touch screen that the booger eating spaz before you had their filthy digits on. I'd rather have the spit straight form the employees in the back.
I have cycling gloves with one finger made to operate touch screens.
Don't act surprised. Japan's already there. They've had those things for over a decade.
What are the long term implications of over-industrialization?
Low wages, high unemployment, high homelessness, low family formation, low birth rates, high level of psychological detachment, prolongued immaturity. Limited self-expression leading to a national and individual identity crisis. And trusty politicians standing by everywhere, ready to take advantage of every human weakness in order to preserve their luxurious and quite old fashion lifestyles.
Automation is here. It cannot be legislated away. Anyone who refuses to preserve margins at the expense of automation is going to loose out to competition. McDonalds is not alone in this. Every chain will have to follow or perish.
Fast food that you eat is already machine processed. Getting rid of the branch worker is the very last step in the process that has been happenning for quite some time.
This was decent

"Nature is not an endless credit card that we can keep drawing on."
Come on, fonz - that just sounds like commie talk.
"How can we live within the real limits that the planet gives us"
They have some balls with that shit.
Just insane.
"Real limits," such a brazen oxymoron.
Haven't those dudes ever seen the famous Nike commercials?
Matt Damon will fix it.

Thanks for the recommendation. Will definitely watch.
anytime.
"We have a chance to control our destiny"
We do; All women of earth must be allowed to be educated and free.
Literate and free women, who have control of their destiny, are natural population control.
Humans need to control their population very soon.
War?
Education?
So where are all the people crying, "If only the minimum wage was 2 bucks a day, I could stand on street corners and in large factories selling soft drink and chocolates and vending machines would not exist? Those damn vending machines took my jooooob!!!!
NOW A REPLACEMENT FOR TSA AGENTS!!!

I want one of those for my house connected to my wife, it would be so much easier to get dinner or ask for another beer while I'm watching the game.
Bah!
