But a better response is to acknowledge that our beliefs are not matching reality, and then hang out with the winners.

You need to watch the POMO schedule. Last Tuesday was a NO-POMO day, which overrode the Tuesday effect. It's really easy if you track the right variables - 1) Is there a POMO?
2) Is it Tuesday?
3) Is there a FED speech?
Sorry folks, Monday is now Tuesday. We are shortening the week by a day as well, Thursday is now Friday...
Sundays on the phone to monday, tuesday's on the phone to me, ohh yeah.

Forecasting this market is easy if you just put aside all your preconceptions and go with the real indicators -
Monday - 3 Billion POMO = up
Tuesday - Tuesday = up
Thursday - No POMO = down
It's a real time saver.
