Right Storm Rising

Tyler Durden's picture

With England's euro-skeptic UKIP expected to win what will be the first insurgent party victory since 1910 and France's establishment concerned of "grave consequences" for the European Union following the National Front's win; given the strong turnout Europe-wide, the rise of the anti-European Union right is clear to see...

Whoa there, Ripsie! First off, the whole domino theory story was about countries falling into communism. Also whilst I'm at it, I want to complain about the color used in the bar graph above. Shouldn't it be blue? Or black? How the hell can you use red when the chart is symbolizing a move away from socialism?

Lastly, I simply must ask the question. How come the main stream media is no longer using the term "FAR-RIGHT" to describe the UKIP or Le Pen's National Front?

...

Whoops! I spoke too soon! Here's the BBC describing them as EITHER "eurosceptic" AND "FAR-RIGHT". (Wouldn't that be Euroskeptic? Euro-sceptic I think would involve cesspools in Europe or something.) I'll venture that the British tabloids will be giving the impression GB and Europe are all headed for goose-stepping in jackboots in the weeks to come. This is all the fault of climate changer deniers, you know.

I think UKIP is actually new for Europe, but some of these are just nationalist socialist parties instead of globalist socialist parties, which is not much difference. Consider that the original European nationalist socialist platforms were highly compatible with current self-proclaimed American Progressive thinking.

Well not nearly as scary as some of the other systems they have had at least. Not like the church was very polite for it's entire existence or anything... The Romans started a system that lasted for nearly two thousand years. It is an impressive feat for a decaying empire. They pretty much created the Catholic Church and it's still around.

Even so this is still only 1 in 5 ppl who is somewhat displeased with the EU in general this means a whooping ~80% still approves the Programming, at this pace the EU-Sceptics will get 30% in 5 years 40% in 10 and maybe have a tentative majority in 15years! Considering the problems we have Now it's amazing how blindfolded people actually are.

I sure wish everybody would quit calling these movements "far right".  While some undoubtedly are, broad brushing them to disparage (first rule of propaganda alongside diversion) them all as radical and evil when in fact most are overall, reflections of a growing mood fighting increased government intrusion, is disingenuous, at best.

Well... I'd guess one thought I might advance could be akin to Adolph Hitler, always termed "right wing" when he in fact rose to power on the basis of free shit giveaways to the rabble, a mercahtilist relationship with the banks and industry, and abridgement of the rules of law,  supported upon a populist nationalist expansionary projection of power...
So, since his policies were at their base of a leftist nature, the leftist press and historians must paint him otherwise, for you see, if we don't remember history we'll hippity hop merrily down the same road, once again...
But fuck it all, could never happen here, no.
I mean Obie&Cie would never.....

Some are "far right" relative to the political center of Europe.  But, when you start comparing them to other regions, they don't look so far right, as Marine Le Pen once stated that she's to the left of Obama:

"Obama is more right-wing than I am," she said. "His big act in social matters is to create social security. Personally, I would go much further than him."

It's all a matter of perspective and, as you suggest, fear-mongering by labelling.

Watched some election results online on German TV (Tagesschau).  What a load of Brussels-cock-sucking maggots that broadcast was.  While commenting on the anti-EU results, they slipped in words like "bedauerlich" (regretable), "Hass" (hatred), and any pro-EU results were for stability and progress.  Then they brought on some boring sad asshole to discuss how the people in Europe need to understand better how great the EU is (conjured up images of reeducation camps in my mind).

Most aggressive brain washing - either you are with us - or you belong to EU-Feinde. It's not about opinions - it's about are you with us - or sympathizing with the enemy. Absolutely disgusting. Unbearable. But that's how the EU really works. It's not about the poeple - it's just about power for a small but extremely powerful group of - I'll leave that you you.

Anyway - absolutely disgusting und unbearable. But that's how this planet was ruled in majority since this planet exists. You have 99.99% sheeple - and a group of 0.01% leaders which will do whatever necessary to remain in power.

Change instigated by the left is almost a tautology. Der wille zur macht comes already installed with the prog mindset. I mean, what troublemaker do you know that doesn't actually like to cause trouble?

On the other hand, the anti-statist citizenry abhors the state by definition, appreciates aynonimity and a low profile, and would rather be caught dead than gather to shake fists in the air with the other cunts (apos to Sting).

Change always comes from the left, but that's really no surprise, because they never tire of being a pain in the ass. They're infatuated with perfecting a world that's imperfect. I fear the only cure is the rec made above, heads in a basket. Maybe then we can persuade these idiots to find a new hobby.

Speaking for Belgium, it's actually the political RIGHT that's pushing to change things here. What they're suggesting is, among others: cutting back government, limiting unemployment benefits to 3 years, reducing taxes... But, sadly, even though they (N-VA) received nearly 33% of the votes in Flanders they'll probably form a rainbow coalition just to keep them out of power (moderate right, center, left, maybe even the greens together in one goverment, because YAY DEMOCRACY).

To win the people back they have to adopt the policies of these parties, less power for Europe more power for their country, or at least cut back in the power concentrated in Brussels.

The message is basically "we as mad as hell and we are not going to stand for it no more"

These parties were ridiculed by MSM for the last 3 weeks, the Public did not fall for the lies and mocking. Not only are the politicians scared but the MSM are also scared as they can no longer manipulated the masses.
