If bigger is better then the following infographic is indeed the best that man has got...

Yes, but that is an ongoing cost.  But are you sure that it is more expensive than the White House or the Capitol Building?  They're all insanely expensive.

Everyone goes home when the dark wizard dies.

Rainbow - Stargazer.

"In the heat and the rain
With whips and chains
To see him fly
So many die
We build a tower of stone
With our flesh and bone
Just to see him fly
But don't know why
Now where do we go?"

If WTC 1 is 541 meters tall, why isn't it at numero dos tallest buildings? That "residential" labeling ain't a good answer.

Let me know when puny man can remove 1 mountain ( a real one, granite, 9-12 thousand foot tall) and transport it to another location and put it back together, and don't go posting some bullshit about the Chinese moving some punk dirt pile in the quang do province to erect a big concrete pecker.

You might have overlooked the "Voodoo Child" himself, Jimi Hendrix:

I stand up next to a mountain
And I chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, I stand up next to a mountain
I chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, I pick up all the pieces and make an island
Might even raise a little sand

'Cause I'm a voodoo child

Am I the only one that noticed that One World Trade Center is the most expensive building per square foot? Jeepers, a lot of people must have gotten rich off that one. And I thought only "Lucky Larry" benefited from 9/11!!

The Trans-Siberian railway is longer than all of those things.

And the Russians have also drilled and cased the Kola well to a depth of over 12,000m which is far deeper than any mine.

This infographic is lazy garbage.

"Lazy Garbage"

So true, they contradict themselves when they list the Boeing plant at 45B and then list the Marina Bay Sands as the world's most expensive at only 6B.  What moron wasted time on this graphic?

I agree, the list is pathetically lacking.

Where are the worlds biggest dams, longest tunnels, biggest bridges, longest aquaducts or tallest antenna.

Just one example, China is building an aquaduct that is a few thousand miles long with each section weighing 1,200 tons and lifted into place by massive cranes. That alone will cost more than any of the "biggest" on that stupid infographic.

No mention either of the Hadron Collider. That is so big that it overlaps a few countries in Europe.

Neutrinos, wich are emmited by the sun can go straight through earth.

The research facility is located deap underground to be sure they don't receive any parasite signal so that they can detect said neutrinos.

I've been to the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (SNO). They study solar neutrinos.  It's hot as hell down there. I wonder how hot the African site is. BTW, the SNO is being done on the cheap. One day of the FED and other central bankers fiat printing could move science like you wouldn't believe.

CERN should be on the list too.

And how about the super deep oil drilling almost through the Earth's crust?

And how much has the ISS cost?  And isn't that the tallest man made structure?

OK.. Enough frivolity..   Back to scotch and re-loading now
