Laugh Along With Putin

Tyler Durden's picture

The next time you are stuck alone in a room with Vladimir Putin and that awkward silence strikes, just ask him about NATO's missile shield being for protection against Iran (and not Russia)... and that should break the ice nicely. As the following interviewer found, the iron fist of Russia has a lighter side... we think...

Interviewer: "NATO claims that the missile shield was not built against you but against Iran"

Putin: "You really make me laugh. God bless you, because it's almost time to finish the day; indeed it is already time to go to sleep. At least I get home in good humor."

Mafia Boss. But I will say I admire his appearance as strong, sober, athletic, clear headed, and cautious.

PR is Important. Politics is PR. Politics is Propaganda. What of it? All Politicians are posers, work the TV Screen, and understand they are always being photographed and recorded.

Still, Putin understands that conservatives hold power and military or police strength is a kind of plus. Be a hunter, be athletic, be a man who takes sauna, have control in press and public briefings.

Another interesting video how Putin avoided filing for bankruptcy of one big company.

The English narrator apparently didn't get the point when saying 'if a big country needed the boss to get one company back to work then it's in serious troubles.' Exact the opposite, the situation shows how corrupted, irresponsible and arrogant the industrial oligarchy can become when not effectively regulated.

This would never happen in the US where the oligarchy already took over the country making the whole politics a circus for the mesmerized masses played by obedient puppets. Putin did something that no one American puppet would ever dare.

OK.  Upon reflection I think the weapon of the past is actually the control of information / propaganda.  Which is why tptb can print what they print.  And bomb who they bomb.  More powerful than missiles.  But propaganda meets its match when assests are scarce. Which is why Putin can laugh at the NATO jive.

Putin has the upper hand here, it's hard to get Obama to laugh by inputting "hehehe" into a teleprompter.  It never comes out authentic.  Barry always forgets which character to laugh in ... the preacher, the haughty professor, the Black Pantha do-gooder, the intellectual ... that's a lot of laughs to sell.  Putin just has to react.

That nutty Putin and his sense of humor.  "Someday I will indulge myself and we will laugh together at some good joke."  It seems to me that if Putin is indulging himself and inclined to laugh at what he considers to be "some good joke," it's highly unlikely I will feel much like laughing.

Which doesn't make it right that the US foreign policy can be summed as, "Poke Russia with a stick." But Putin has been a scary dude since we first heard of him.  If he weren't, we'd never have heard of him.

if it's not right to poke russia with a stick then why isn't it funny when the u.s. gov't claims the nato missiles are to protect "us" from iran?  it is funny in a very excellent if lame and pathetic way.  putin is right to laugh and i laugh with him.

it is also funny that the "al quaeda" spinoff the u.s. arms in syria is the same organization (isis or islamic state in iraq and syria) that steals their helicopters in mosul and makes 90,000 iraqi gov't troops desert.  the msm claims al quaeda kicked them out for being "too vicious".  that too is funny.

"Sir, please! Sir? Sir? Do you really think that Al Quaeda straps a bomb to their waist and blows people up because this woman (points to his left) is wearing a miniskirt"? *he laughs in his face*

However, sometimes I think people give him too much credit based on the situation. I keep seeing this god damn 'chess/marbles' analogy when talking about how awesomely smart Vlad is. If you're playing chess against a hamster of course you're going to look awesome, like, the best chess player ever.

Yeah, you've made the right moves Vlad, but let's not dislocate your shoulder patting yourself on the back --- your opponent issssss a hamster.

Does anyone wonder why Putin is playing chess whilst a tele-prompter puppet like Obama is playing checkers?

The CIA and NSA are still hand in glove with the Anglo-American alliance which begat them both. Odd its only the American part that's centre stage for provoking WW3; the "Anglo" part is very much alive and well and has fed off the horrors of the assaults on the ME etc, provocations between the USA and Russias (growing east alliance) is smelling like a strategic chess match pushing for a major conflict.

Admiring Putin maybe appropriate when realizing your kid is a bully getting a smack down by him; but we're not talking about school yard shit. We're possibly looking at an orchestrated take down with TPTB expecting to win from the fall out whilst enjoying greatly the demise of many folks in the west and east.

Too many pathways have been handed to the east via trade agreements and the likes for one to not wonder why they have been built up for this amazing showdown. If karma were at play I'd put my money on the likes of the British East India Co. and its modern manifestations but I'd lose, cause money is on a hamster. WTF?

Fri, 06/13/2014 - 12:35 | 4853516 Frankie Carbone

No, I think it's more insidious than that. AntiChrist knows that God's children are tiring of the THIS war, the ME one, and need to shift their military expenditures into something more lucrative and palatible, and that is another cold war. The US is doing everything possible to start another cold war because there is at least another 50 trillion in war profit to be had there and they figure the masses will tolerate that better.

AND, it will finish us off financially which is what they want.

SDR, here it comes!

the american revolution and ww2 gave wars an undeserved good name.  the vast, vast majority of them would be better fought by heads of government and or state fighting to the death, possibly augmented by those who stood to profit by the war, because the citizens refused.

would be but won't be.

@american. Well, a thousand years and more ago it was common for armies to put forward champions. eg David & Goliath. It was considered in everyone's interests to spare mass carnage. I suppose that as our civilisation has advanced, we've progressed beyond this juvenille concept. Far better for people such as Wilhelm, George & Nicholas to sit it out in their palaces while the plebs grind each other in the trenches.

Since most wars are started by political maniacs to seize power and control and feed their egos, and are not the result of genuine disputes between the peoples of each side, they should all be resolved by putting the leaders in a ring together. It wouldn't be long before peace and co-operation breaks out.

I think it would be appropriate for the corporations to pay for our "police actions"  That would lower annual income taxes about a trillion since I don't recall anyone invading our boarders.

Russia has Putin. America has Pussy Riot. Now, go figure who is better equipped to face the future world crisis. Clinton and Pussy Riot? Actually, since Pussy Riot is funded by State Department cultural programs, NGO's set up inside Russia and funded by America to spread western culture. They invented Pussy Riot as a way to spread American influence inside Russian society. Now, how do you feel as a tax payer about funding these American culture NGOs? Pussy Riot, a great reflection on American intellectual progress over the backwards Russians.

So...I did laugh along. Does this make me a traitor to my country? Hate to say, but this Putin fella seems like a rather likeable character. That Obama guy, not so much.

Do you remember back in 2006 or so when Putin dressed in drag and like Benny Hill was chased by a bunch of short skirt whores? Do any of you know Russia sent us a moment after 911 that sits in NJ across from Manhatten?

Putin was one of the best double agents the world has ever know but once in a while his humanity shines through. But if he keeps getting the stick like the rest of the world to hurry up and adapt I sincerely believe he has no qualms pushing the big red button. I cant worship the man as some do for someday he may be my executioner.

But he plays with Kissinger and NWO. Do your really think RT could operate as a growing media enterprise (Larry King politicking brought to yiu by RT) if the USA really viewed him as an enemy? There are real dangers in the world when global growth stalls like this. But lets put it into context shall we?

to: "NATO claims that the missile shield was not built against you but against Iran"

Wow, I didn't thought that missile defense systems takes care from which country the incoming missile is flying and decides accordingly if pass or stop the missile. Maybe it makes sense for somebody....

then off course US should treat Russia as best friend and for sure Russian missiles should be passed like a friendly visitor.

It's all shits and giggles until they realize exactly how weak you really are. Reminds me of the pride of hungry lions that realized their aging alpha male was weakened by age. Two hours later everyone in the pride had a full stomach and all that was left of the old alpha male was a tuft of fur.

when was the last time you saw a politician act so naturally, so unscripted? in the usa, i have only ever seen it in small local politics and behind closed doors.

however, my cynicism says the question may have been a setup because the reporter was hiding his reaction to putin, like he wanted to laugh along with him.
