The Only Chart You Need Ahead Of Tomorrow's FOMC Statement
Tomorrow will bring the word from on high with regard the great-and-powerful Fed's forecasts, dot-plots, and money-printing-replacing-forward-guidance. While one must 'never' question the PhDs, or fight the Fed (unless they say "sell" or "complacent"), we thought the following chart of their success at "forward guidance" should help investors with their allocation of 'faith' tomorrow...

Hey ... There's them green shoots ... Just over the horizon!
Now keep believing and paying your bills
Lmfao ... Picture a carrot on a stick being dangled in front of a donkey pulling the load including the fat bastard holding the stick and choosing the direction the cart travels
according to recent statistics "paying your bills" is for suckers. between social security, disability, unemployment insurance, medicare, obamacare, snap, VA, etc. etc. paying for almost everything, only a fool pays his own bills in America.
that's the most depressing thing about this American depression.
Zombie Economy. Zombie planners
one day econometrics is going to be the rigorous field that doesn't just require you to learn the maths of a physicist to build beautifully sophisticated models that have absolutely no bearing on the real world. today is not that day.
today econometrics = mental masturbation.
between the regional banks and all the employees back east that's a lot of econometrics.
??? The Bank Who Cried Recovery ???
But people still come running anyway?
If Sabermetrics were applied to Fed policy, you would look to unload to the closest sucker
That chart looks like a jet fighter take off...
i would really like to see a historical review of the academic field of soviet economics in the 80's and see a review of the literature at the time and how it could be broken down by almost universal economic approval and appologetics for any status quo.
i'd be surprised if there weren't some group of academics or intelligensia that was not tenured and hired to rationalize the planned political economy of the state.
it would make for an educational retrospective in any case.
Cloward and Priven with a mixture of Alinsky showing how to flood the system.
