The proximate trigger of instability is less important than we think.
It's tempting to think that the resolution of various geopolitical crises would restore global stability: tempting, but wrong. Global turmoil may appear to have specific causes--Ukraine, Iraq, Syria,etc.--but the deeper reality is the instability is systemic.
The proximate trigger of instability is less important than we think. The often-cited analogy is a sand pile formed by a steady trickle of sand from a storage bin. The sand slowly accumulates into a seemingly stable pile. But the structure of the pile becomes increasingly unstable as the sides steepen and the height grows, and at some unpredictable point the pile suddenly collapses in cascades of sand.
Do we focus on the last grain of sand that triggered the collapse of apparent stability, or do we focus on the real cause, the rise in systemic instability?
Gordon Long and I discussed these systemic causes of global conflict in Geopolitical Turmoil: Instability, Fragmentation, Resource Wars:
We discuss five systemic sources of global instability:
1. Failed Governments/States, where failed means an inability to provide the citizenry with basic levels of security, civil liberties and basic necessities of life.
Failed states are characterized by:
- Weak Institutions & Corruption
- Failed Governance/Political Gridlock
- Failure of Central Planning Model
- Failure of Neo-Liberal Model of Capitalism
2. Fragmentation of nation-states assembled in the 20th century by the Great Powers.
3. Divided geopolitical loyalties of traditional states located on geopolitical fault lines.
4. Resource wars:
- Transport of energy
- Fewer resources (food, water, energy)
- Shortages/rising prices of resources
5. Insolvency of Nations/governments due to unpayable debts.
Thinking that putting out geopolitical fires is the solution to global instability is equivalent to thinking that the solution to forest fires is to douse every small fire before it spreads. What results is an entire forest piled high with so much deadwood that the next fire will necessarily explode into a raging, uncontrollable conflagration.
6) Rothschild Central Banks
Hey, are crucifying people in the town square or burning a babies chest open with a flash bang signs of a failed or a successful state?
Just trying to hedge my begs over here...
I think crucifying 9 'moderate' US sponsored rebels was probably on the advice of the CIA, to terrorize the christian sheeple hence expand military budgets at the expense of social spending. I doubt any of the ISIS clowns ever read the new testament, or can read, period.
It's a punishment in the Koran, but you are right the inspiration in this case came from completely unislamic sources.
The CHS essay above is best described using a quote from Wolfgang Pauli:
"This isn't right. It isn't even wrong." (meaning it fails at so many levels, it doesn't even deserve to be refuted)
Sandpile math is for non-conscious objects like grains of sand. There are now so many players at work in the world operating at high levels that very little is left to chance, and when chance does occur, it is quickly co-opted. Just as one small example, read "The Perestroika Deception". Here is a quote:
"control of the Western mind is to be achieved not only by means of the dishonest use of language,
but also through operations to demoralise the West - through corrosive attacks on
society's institutions, the active promotion of drug abuse, and the spread of agnosticism,
nihilism, permissiveness and concerted attacks on the family in order to destabilise
society."
Shake the sand out of your head and recognize that your thinking has been ever so carefully shaped and directed. The biggest war at the moment is for control of your thoughts. The rest will follow in due course.
Thanks for the book quote, its available online: The Perestroika Deception https://archive.org/details/AnatoliyGolitsyn

Not hard to figure how this ends.
There is a preface to these events...
This leads right into the book you linked to:

Does the Fed qualify as "systemic" ?
"The Systemic Sources of Geopolitical Turmoil: Instability, Fragmentation, Resource Wars"
The sources are: The Rothschild (central) banksters' theft and government theft and violence on behalf of the Rothschild banksters.
The Systemic Sources of Geopolitical Turmoil: Instability, Fragmentation, Resource Wars.UMMMMM, No. More like inequality due to the forces and leadership currently working against freedom. Instability, Fragmentation and Resource wars are SYMPTOMS. Got it? Look at who are foisting these PROBLEMS on us. Who's the management?
There's your SOURCE of Geopolitical turmoil.
Keep your eye on the ball.
Basically true, but what's the cause of that? 1 John 5:19 provides the answer, "the whole world is under the control of the evil one." This, ultimately, is "the management" in this world.
Masonic (Freemasons)Cults that use all forms of corruption to get their members into top political positions. Then spread evil including Bogus Math.
Example: Silvio Berlusconi (italy) Member of P2 masonic group

If your a mason hit the down arrow and show your weakness to true light.
1) - coup by USA goverment or attemp to do so.
"We are at war with our self." That's "the heart" of the matter. This has been known since the times of Greece..."psychology" they called it...and even the Greeks thought they could master that as well. (Aristotle was Alexander the Great's personal tutor.)
"The fault dear Brutus is not in the stars but in our selves." The internet "acts" as both magnifying glass...and blowhorn...feeding into the fears and desires of a massed "proletariat" hungering for news of "the other."
Simply put "there is no way the Postal Service can win." This is EXACTLY what the human race wants. Far from Capitalism being destroyed by its own internal contradictions..."you and I are."
Thus the presentation by the media circus...to us "the circus proletariat"...is quite simple. "Show them the crucifixions. Show them what's coming for them...yet try to fool them that these images can survive for very long because the internal contradictions are not to be mentioned... even though they are on display and simply are too obvious to even be believed...let alone ignored."
These folks are in a hurry...the media...Zero Hedge in particular...bis giving you a "timeline" to "their Plan." But not only are these ISIS folks dead already...it's all the rest of these religious nuts and their "swastikas" who are parading to their doom.
I find it interesting that one half the Government wants to give them money...and the other half feels something should be done to maybe...even just a little bit...stop this.
There isn't even a pretense of wanting to be on the winning (Shiite) side anymore. Just a bunch of navel gazers pondering "going through the motions" and seeing how many will believe them this go around.
CH-CHING! "BECAUSE I'M RICHER THAN YOU THAT'S WHY!"
Over on the primary oil blog there has begun talk about husbanding or conservation, not by consumers but by oil producers.
It's interesting discussion. The thought seems to be something like this:
Economics would say that as the price goes up, you want to produce more so that you can sell and capture that money in larger quantities.
But there could be a dark side to this derived from the word "produce". Oil isn't produced. It's extracted. All the verbage is designed to meld the concepts into economics, but there is no requirement for this. Oil production is not oil production; it is extraction. And so human nature can assert itself like so:
As the price goes up, the sense that the item is precious increases. As that sense grows, a desire to conserve it may grow. So instead of "production" rising with price, maybe it will fall. Maybe, in the best interests of the oil possessing countries, it SHOULD fall.
If it does, disintegration will soon arrive.
(Guess what, Warren has said this himself. "It's precious, we should not produce any in the US. We should burn up everyone else's first.")
Interesting, where is this discussion taking place?
http://www.zerohedge.com/article/us-energy-secretary-expresses-great-con... (bottom of second page - The Devil)
(my conversation with THE MAN that provided me that information had to have been between Dec 2010 & Feb 2011, and the notion wasn't anything new and actually sort of sounded like a long term pet goal for him, but it certainly may be worth another long journey for a cup of tea)
It's kind of weird to run across anyone who doesn't realize that a chief characteristic dynamic of capitalism is scarcity, be it manufactured or intrinsic. The theory that as prices go higher, a seller wants to see more and more of the product (thereby sapping the momentum of the price increase) could only have been thought of by a cynical PR flak, or by an academic who had never bought or sold anything himself before.
Cue the "stooged" NGO's to foment the privatization of the planet in order to bring back stability.
Uncles Warren, Bill, George....can you help?
This is as simple as this.
Dis-allow, and kill those that would live on the backs of others through money printing from thin air, and charging interest on said bollocks.
A mans worth, is worth much more than this.
Usury is the problem. 29.9% for you, on money they got for nothing is the problem.
Either stop it, or as more wake up, more and more and more. We will.
You cunts are going to be very sorry you started this.
Angry doesnt even come close.
;-)
humans have a self destruct gene. every now and then the scheming, plotting, subterfuge and war results in a cataclysmic social and economic tilt and reset. the reasons are greed and power, one and the same. the easier a system is to abuse the shorter it's lifespan. if a system can be abused by another system then it will be abused. might makes right, the lesson you are no longer allowed to learn on the playground in kindergarten.
Ahem, the main reason of major instability is always:
Statist politics not allowing for corrections to occur already at minor instability levels.
Statist politics is already a symptom of a system that is running into dwindling resources.
One root cause: diminishing returns in every aspect of our civilization.
This is present in all systems. The precondition is different on every aspect, eg: finite planet - exponential growth, limits of science (still with combustion engine), limits of biology (life expectancy/crop yield cannot be raised indefinitely).

With respect...I'll reply...
Imposed limits by those that control the funds. Those that can produce "money" from mere keystrokes on a keyboard while you slave away and trade your heartbeats and sweat equity for such a manipulated medium. The joke my friend is on you.
You can do a search in Avaiation Tech. magazine of the tech put into the B2 bomber that is not put into Boeings "commercial" fleet that gives a 30% increase in "mileage".
What's the biggest cost of running an Airline business. Not the aircraft. Not the crew, but the fuel.
Who's stopping us from running molten salt LFTR reactors in DESAL plants and turning our deserts into cropland? 100 of these would change the landscape of this planet in a positive way.
What you say? You can not weaponize the residual fuel as easily as the current (old school) tech reactors? This was placed on Nixons desk and after he listened to his handlers he went down the wrong path with nuc power. All right there to see and read. It is documented.
Lack of vision? That's putting it exceedingly politely....
The Cartels can't profit off of that.
I could go on but....you get the idea.
Good job Charles. The mouth breathing parasites still don't understand how the system works. Keep prodding them. This viewed post should of pulled 30k. Stewarts of stupidly. Keep at it.
