Banker Suicides Return: JPMorgan Executive "Blasts Wife, Kills Self" With Shotgun

Tyler Durden's picture

With Russia and China having briefly taken over the hub of global executive suicides, the sad trend has returned back to America. In what appears to the 15th financial services executive suicide this year, yet another JPMorgan Director took his own life. As IBTimes reports, Jefferson Township (New Jersey) police report that the Global Network Operations Center Executive Director, "Julian Knott, age 45, shot his wife Alita Knott, age 47, multiple times and then took his own life with the same weapon." They are survived by 3 teenage children...

As IB Times reports,

JP Morgan executive director Julian Knott blasted his wife Alita to death with a shotgun before turning the gun on himself.

The 45-year-old, who worked for the investment bank in London until July 2010, shot his 47-year-old wife multiple times before committing suicide with the same weapon.

...

Julian moved to the United States from London in 2010 and was working at JP Morgan's Global Network Operations Center in Whippany, New Jersey, at the time of the tragedy.

...

Jefferson Township police, in New Jersey, confirmed on Sunday they had found two unconscious bodies at the Knotts' large suburban home at 1.12am.

A statement released on Tuesday added: "Through an extensive investigation conducted by the Jefferson Township Police Department, the Morris County Prosecutors Office and the Morris County Medical Examiner's Office the preliminary investigation has revealed that the two adults died as a result of gunshot wounds and the incident has been determined to be a murder/suicide.

"This preliminary investigation revealed that Julian Knott, age 45, shot his wife Alita Knott, age 47, multiple times and then took his own life with the same weapon."

...

Photos of the couple painted a picture of a content family life. Beneath the 2012 photo of Julian carrying his wife on the beach, a friend commented, "Always acting like newlyweds."

College student daughter Kayleigh, who along with her two teenage brothers survive their parents, used social media site Instagram to pay tribute to her mum and dad.

"Although I am heartbroken that they will never see me graduate college, will never be there to see me get married or to be grandparents for my children, I can still have my inner peace knowing that they are now stress-free in a much better place," she wrote.

"You never know what life is going to throw at you, but it is all part of a plan that is bigger than us all."

"So hug your families a little tighter tonight and count every little blessing because you never know what tomorrow will bring. Life is so incredibly beautiful and I can't wait to see what the world has in store for me. Rest in Peace Mummy and Daddy, stay close," she added.

1. Who the fuck takes to Instagram when THAT happens in their immediate family?

2. I'm pretty sure that at least one of her parents is not in a 'stress-free environment' right now.

Special Advisory to Chase Bank Employees

Another Chase Bank individual, and the third individual connected to their Global Networking Operations, allegedly killed his wife and then himself.

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/former-london-jp-morgan-manager-julian-knott-killed-wife-shotgun-murder-suicide-1455980

Now, if you haven't figured it out by now, J.P. Morgan Chase is the premier crime organization in America, can you dig it?

Word up, doods, in case you know anyone at a sensitive position within your bank, such as Global Networking Operations, a proprietary HFT trading desk, or a derivatives desk, you might want to suggest to them that they cultivate an inside contact at the Department of Justice so that in case their name is mentioned on one of their Letters of Interest, submitted to the senior executives prior to calling them forward as a witness, they can be tipped off before an accident team is dispatched to silence them.

Thu, 07/10/2014 - 19:01 | 4945370 sgt_doom
sgt_doom's picture

FYI:

William Broeksmit

Mike Dueker

Richard Talley

Although not with Chase, these three attended Norwestern University within the same timeframe?

Also, another banker found murdered, his body recently pulled from the Hudson River, was with PMC Financial (if memory serves and I got that name correct), he had interned at Chase's IT department.  Three of those who died recently from chase --- Mr. Knott, and another two fellows, one at London, the other in New York, were also connected to their Global Networking Operations.

But remember, it's all coincidency.....

I saw some kids skating at a great spot near an office building with a great drop.  I was gonna tell the kids "when I was yoiur age..."  then I remembered when I was their age, urethane wheels and fiberglass boards had just come out.   They probably would have thought I was crazy old fool.

I just enjoyed thinking back when I was younger and all the nasty fux who said "no skateboarding here!"   Nothing changes.

Truly, Freddie. There's always an asshole who wants the skaters out. I don't know about kids these days, but until my generation, a lot of us always found it nice when non-skaters took interest or had some comments/perspective to offer.

You have to be a heartless bastard to stop people from having some good 'ol fashoined street skating fun. Or worse, call the security or the popo discreetly without ever approaching the skaters in person.

This July 4th, I was at the skatepark (part of a local community park) and answered some rather silly questions for a drunk bro (must've been 30+) with a USA t-shirt (made in not-USA, of course). I don't know about independence, but Independent trucks are still the best, bar none. Unwavering quality - one of the last great American products remaining.

LOL!   I had to rent a van a few months ago to move stuff.  The radio was set to a classic rock station and Bohem Rhap came on.  I was thinking I was in a Pacer in Wayne's World.   I was laughing.

Classic Rock stations rotate about the same 10 songs:  Queen-Beheimian, PInk Floyd-Bring in the Wall or maybe Comfortably Numb, Rush-Tom Sawyer, Led Zep- various songs.

Then they have the rest usually AC/DC, Aerosmith and a a later Who song even though the early songs were much better.

Actually that did sound a bit strange to me too. That statement would be likely if the loved one had died of cancer or a slow tortuous death. Deaths of this nature that happen so suddenly and by such violence don't usually have such a contemplative response. My hackles are up.

The teenagers should be off-limits. None of us can imagine what is in their minds or hearts, but there life took a dark turn. I wish them the best until the facts take me to a different place. I assume the teenagers were not home and hopefully never saw the mess. If they did and shrooms were close, I would not fault her.

The headline to this story is incredibly misleading and quite offensive to guns everywhere.

We all know that guns don't kill people. I doubt it was even a gun that this gent used in commission of this gruesome crime. This is just another anti-gun hit piece by the Commie/Zionist/Socialist/Homo MSM.

A mouthful of buckshot doesnt leave a hole it removes the entire back of the head.  Most shotgun suicides are meant to be messy to make a point.

Been in EMS for 18+ years, and will NEVER forget the fellow that offed himself with a shotgun using buckshot.

We picked up bits of flesh and brain for hours in that shop. Still have dreams about that one 6 years later.

To be sure, he made his point. It was an open casket from the chest down.

Interesting question.  Add to that the fact that most Londoners have never seen shotguns, except for those of Scottish heritage.

They might have seen them at the shooting club but the gun culture is different there.  They sell carved masterpieces for 20K-40K in high end shops  right next to the expensive clothes and the Rolls dealership next door.

20K-40K?... when? the 1960's?

The last time I was in H&H was perhaps '07 ... a more realistic starting price was GBP 100,000 per gun...

God forbid anyone wanted a matched set of hunting calibers and shotguns...
