Israel Is Bombing Gaza Back to the Stone Age to Get Hamas ... But ISIS – NOT HAMAS – Claims Credit for Attacks Against Israel

George Washington's picture

Israel is currently bombing Gaza back to the stone age (MSM spin notwithstanding).

While Israel claims that Hamas was behind the murder of 3 Israeli boys which started this round of violence (and subsequent rocket attacks), the Times of Israel reported last week:

A new Palestinian jihadist group pledging allegiance to the Islamic State (formerly known as ISIL) [or "ISIS"] has claimed responsibility for the killing of three Israeli teenagers last month in the West Bank, as well as other recent deadly attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians.

Hamas has denied responsibility for the attacks.

The New York Times also reported on Wednesday:

On Tuesday evening, Israel’s antimissile system, called Iron Dome, intercepted a rocket “over the Tel Aviv area,” the army said, showing the reach of Gazan rocketry. The rocket was believed to be of Iranian design, a Fajr-5, and Islamic Jihad claimed credit. Tel Aviv opened some public shelters, and in a city near Tel Aviv, Rishon LeZion, people were instructed to leave the beach.

Given that countries all over the world – including Israel and Muslim countries – have admitted to carrying out false flag attacks, we should carefully investigate who was responsible before cheering on a new Arab-Israeli war. (And the head of Mossad had predicted such an occurrence shortly before it happened.)

Palestine has gained a lot of support recently.  For example, Palestine was accorded observer nation status by the United Nations.  The movement to boycott and divest from companies doing business with Israel has gathered tremendous momentum. And the two main factions in Palestinian politics – Hamas and Fatah – have formed a unity government.

As Michael Rivero points out, it makes no sense for Hamas to have committed brutal acts of violence right now, when it is securing quick progress through peaceful political means:

HAMAS and FATAH formed a unity government. They need the support of the world right now, and neither HAMAS or FATAH is going to carry out an act that would wreck the very public support they need. It’s like George Washington trying to kick out the British by shooting students in the colonial schools; it is just not going to happen.

And the Jewish Daily Forward notes that – if rogue Hamas members did carry out the murders – it was not with the permission or knowledge of Hamas leadership:

In the flood of angry words that poured out of Israel and Gaza during a week of spiraling violence, few statements were more blunt, or more telling, than this throwaway line by the chief spokesman of the Israeli military, Brigadier General Moti Almoz, speaking July 8 on Army Radio’s morning show: “We have been instructed by the political echelon to hit Hamas hard.”

That’s unusual language for a military mouthpiece. Typically they spout lines like “We will take all necessary actions” or “The state of Israel will defend its citizens.” You don’t expect to hear: “This is the politicians’ idea. They’re making us do it.”

***

It was clear from the beginning that the kidnappers weren’t acting on orders from Hamas leadership in Gaza or Damascus. Hamas’ Hebron branch — more a crime family than a clandestine organization — had a history of acting without the leaders’ knowledge, sometimes against their interests. Yet Netanyahu repeatedly insisted Hamas was responsible for the crime and would pay for it.

Instinct to survive has been kick started.  Trouble shooting came next.  It is what it is.  Cannot ignore it. The secret is out.  Now, Own it.  Deal with it so the rest of us can get back to living.  But order out of chaos is the preferred approach (murder, mayhem and pestilence (said with a stutter, p p p pestilence).

Not every Zionist is a NWO collaborator/chairman. Plenty of free-thinking, even possibly crypto-anarchist Zionists out there. Zionism was a product of fringe thinking. The first settlers of Palestine in the modern age were either kabbalists and their communities seeking to hasten the redemption or the first generation of "enlightened" eastern European Jewish youth. The Jewish mainstream, whether religious or secular, was vehemently opposed to Zionism. From communists in Russia/Poland/Lithuania to crony-capitalist industrialists in Germany to establishment Rabbis everywhere. This is a fact. Ben Gurion, Wietzman etc. only became influential figures on the eve of WW2. Before then they were fringe nonentities, if Zionists at all.

Much of this happened far earlier than what you indicate. The Zionists were forcing England to divert troops away from the European front during WWI.

It's all in history of the area...

... not one Isreali dead from Gaza rockets, but over 100 Palestinians dead ...

What a stark reminder of the difference between the Gaza Strip and Israel.  The leaders of Israel work very hard to make sure their people don't get killed.  The leaders of the Gaza Strip, not so much.

The murder of the 3 Israelis is irrelevant now. Hamas IS firing the rockets.  Other forces may have egged them on. But Hamas fell for it.

Israel does not care if ISIS started it. In fact, from an Israeli perspective, the rise of the ISIS Caliphate could be a good thing. The existence of an ISIS terrorist state gives the Israelis a place to exile the Palestinians to when they finally cleanse the territory of Gaza, West Bank, and Israel of Muslims.

I think it's about securing the oil from North Iraq. They already have a pipeline from Kirkuk to the Mediterranean via Turkey. This "ISIS" territory would obstensibly be the goons protecting said oil. Israel and Turkey have both publicly warmed up to a "Kurdistan" recently, a sea change from recent policy. This is the backup, it appears, to bowling over Syria. Infer away

PS Here's a map: http://www.bqdoha.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Turkey-gas-pipelines-1.jpg

Edit: Sorry, above map was gas (same route). Here's oil: http://oilprice.com/uploads/AD89.png

We would never of had these problems if Israel was created in Europe post WW2 from Polish and German lands given to Poland, they would be a normal European Nation with Baltic coastline and we wouldnt be having these discussions.  Going to the middle east is like going into a hornet's nest.

The issue is primarily with the Zionist settlers on the West Bank. These people are religious extremists who believe that this piece of land was promised to them by an invisible magic man in the sky. Because this claim is actually taken seriously by the state of Israel, enormous resources are put into enabling and safeguarding these extremists as they colonize.

Religion is a disease to humanity. At the very least, it is the opiate of the masses, as Karl Marx correctly asserted.

1. When international law becomes pesky and  inconvenient, being "chosen" is darn handy.

2. So is having avoided codifying an actual constitution for the nearly 70 years they have been around. See #1.

2. Constitution? Ah, yes please tell me more about this constitution idea. I hear America has one... How's that working out? Do they have one too in Europe, which will have a Muslim majority by 2050?

IMHO nothing major is likely to happen till the Caliphate is allowed to gain strength and that platform is used to launch the war.

By which time, the citizens of those countries , as they exist now, will be highly confused to where and whom they belong to.

From ancient times until the US/Soviet Era, wars were fought until there was a winner and a loser.

The winner dictated the peace. The loser obeyed.

Israel must ignore any noise from the US/UN about a "ceasefire."

The US and Soviets invented the "ceasefire" which allowed for perpetual wars.

Continuous wars between the Israelis and the Palestinians must end.

War against Hamas should continue until nothing remains but the crying and weeping of

Palestinian children and women.

That is the true nature of war.

I agree that the US (or the world) should butt out and let the whole mideast decide themselves.  No financial help for any of them.  Fat chance.  But that would be "the true nature of war."

Also for the crying and weeping of Israeli women and children.

Then when both sides are so affected peace is then settled once and for all and agreed upon by the women and children of both sides.

THE ONLY SOLUTION

Gather the top 12 leaders from each side in a room.

Give them a week to negotiate a peace.

If they fail, draw one name from each side from a hat and shoot them and then repeat the process each 48 hours after that for as long as peace remains elusive.

This is far more practical than sending the youth to do the bidding of the maniacs on both sides.

This approach should work wonders.

So A majority of ZHers would rather Israel be led by kinder gentler sort like Obama. Then the Jihadees could flatten Israel and then what? Isiis gains more of a stranglehold choking even more territories back to the 12th century. Its the Western lib Jews who are the threat and they care less for Israel than ZHers. Israhell is trying to grab off more territory so they pay a group/invent a group to send a few missiles their way which justifies stealing more land and killing more Palestinians. How do you think that shitty little country came into existence? All the while they will howl they are VICTIMS! Later, they will demand the Palestinians pay them reparations for all their suffering.
