President Obama Dictates What Happened In Ukraine And Whose Fault It Is - Live Feed

Tyler Durden's picture

President Obama was a little cagey early yesterday in finger-pointing or assigning blame... but later in the day, he was clear that Putin and Russia were responsible. This morning we are told that the US "believes" it was pro-Russian separatists "maybe." We await President Obama's statement (and hopefully Q&A) this morning as he explains the situation in Ukraine... and how he won't stand for it any longer. Despite Russia signing energy and investment deals with numerous nations around the world and being at the hub of the creation of the BRICS Bank, we are sure President Obama will dictate how isolated Russia is becoming (despite Europe's "fold" on further sanctions for fear of retaliation).

The President is due to speak at 1130ET...

ok then, who fired the missile and who provided them? do you know beyond a reasonable doubt it was in fact, separatists using SAM's directly or indirectly provided by Moscow?

if so where is your evidence, your proof ? perhaps you would like to share it with the rest of us. as of yet I have seen nothing more than vague accusations and predictable by the script unsubstantiated finger pointing out of Washington. there hasn't even been an investigation yet so how can you know with any certainty who did what?

further can you explain what motivation the eastern separatists would have for shooting down a civilian airliner, remember Kiev is claiming they have proof that this was done intentionally not by accident, so can you tell me why they would do this? what would they and there Russian supporters gain?

personally I see none, this act only endangers everything they have been fighting and dieing for, are we to believe they are so stupid as to ruin all for one airplane of no military or strategic importance?

however if one looks at this objectively it certainly does benefit Kiev, especially if this tragedy can be laid squarely at the feet of Moscow and the eastern separatists on many different levels. remember, Russia was on the verge of launching air and cruise missile strikes on Ukrainian military positions in the east in retaliation for the recent cross border shelling that killed a russian civilian. is is so unreasonable to consider that Kiev may have engineered this disaster out of desperation or even self preservation?

what do we know? well we know the Ukraine had BUK SAM's in the area and that they are fully functional and easily capable of hitting a civilian aircraft. and while the rebels use MANPADS which can not reach a target at 30+ thousand feet, they did admit to halving one BUK but that is was missing the essential radar tracking component and therefor is not combat effective.

so is it not possible then that the Ukrainian air defense battery in the area, in a time of heightened tensions, fearing imminent airstrikes, mistook a high altitude civilian aircraft for a Russian bomber and fired without first following proper IFF procedures?

and is now attempting to both cover up their mistake and turn the situation to their advantage with the help of an all to compliant western media?

is this not a reasonable possibility?

lastly one does not abuse freedom of speech by engaging in it.

It occurred to me that unlike yourself, TeaParterade, Tyler’s frequent reports are not issuing a conclusion on what happened to the downed airliner. And, frankly, it’s one of the few active internet sites where a mixture of official statements and theories can be examined by people like myself who are interested in finding out what really happened, and not what you would have liked to have happened.

I’ve never been more happy with Zero Hedge than I am at this moment.

Hillary Clinton just spilled the beans on Bloomberg..."It's the EU that should toughen sanctions against Putin...this should firm up their resolve"

There you have it, one false flag ordered up to get the EU to do more of Hillary Clinton's bosses' bidding.  EU sanctions coming in...3, 2, 1

More innocents have died there in recent days and he isn't sending all those federal agencies to put a stop to this or even hold a similar press conference.  I guess only if the Israeli troops get caught in a cauldron like the Uke army, will we go that route there.

He was VERY careful to say that the missile was shot from rebel controlled terrority rather than coming outright with the 'rebels did it'.  I think he knows that it was Western Ukraine SAMs that did it and he doesn't want to be caught in a lie.

Bryan Suits saying it's probably Russian crews who launched this (though I didn't hear his argument), but also that there are pics of the launcher returning across the border to Russia, minus two missiles which would be the standard launch against a target.

Obama standing up and saying what's facts and how things oughta be is just a sick joke, presidents only do that when they're declaring war, or expect to be ignored.

ZH needs to charge us all $3.99 per month for membership and use the money to get a better server cluster and higher bandwidth. Popular site. I don't want more advertisers - afraid the Tylers will be censored.

The membership fee will also put the kybosh on the stupid trolls.

Going forward, with unprecedented global events (and censorship) in the making, this site is going to be the place to be to stay informed.

My Quick-and-Dirty Theory:

Who benefits from this? Instead of "follow the money" you should "follow the political windfall".

Yats the Rat inciting the West "NOW, boys and girls, THIS IS IT!" Join us in our war.

US media and comments from Readers (mostly CNN and Fox News) saying that Europe has now to accept how evil Russia is (mostly Europeans sitting in that plane!).

BRICS just created competition for the IMF and Germany is tending towards Russia (therefore bringing Europe with them).  Just kicked out US spy.

ALL IN ALL: THE US/Ukraine/Blackwater did this

9/11 all over again.  If they could pull this off, why not kill 298 passengers to "save Europe" from the "Communist beast".  CIA / MI6 all over this.  Easy to blame the separatists.  Case closed.  See you again in 50 years when a retired CIA officer reveals this in an interview or the official files are public.

In 1809, Napoleon’s brother, Joseph Bonaparte, sat on the throne of Spain and Mexico; in other words, the American Southwest was part of the Spanish Empire.

The fact is that near the end of the 16th century the northern frontier of New Spain in most areas was close to the present Mexican-United States boundary line.

Encyclopedia Britannica Colonial Period 1519-1821:

“After the French had established colonies in Louisiana, Spanish settlements were made in Texas in 1716, while on the Pacific Coast the threat of Russian expansion caused the Spaniards in 1769 to begin the occupation of upper California.  Throughout the 18th century, there were incessant boundary disputes between Spain, Britain, France and subsequently the United States, and other territories changed hands several times. Florida was ceded to Britain in 1763, restored to Spain in 1783 and sold to the United States in 1819. Louisiana became Spanish in 1763, but was regained by France in 1800 and sold to the United States three years later. The northern boundary of New Spain remained largely indeterminate until the Adams-Onis treaty of 1819, by which the United States acquired Florida, but recognized Spanish sovereignty over Texas, New Mexico and California

"Rebellion was made possible by Napoleon’s occupation of Spain in 1808 and his attempt to establish his brother Joseph Bonaparte as king. Creoles in Mexico immediately began to demand independence, though they continued to profess to the legitimate Spanish king…”

Be that as it may, before you go any further please note that Bony SOLD the Louisiana "purchase" for a modest amount to his "objective" ally Jefferson  in 1802, so that the US would become a big naval power and be a thorn in the side of the British Navy who had humiliated him at Aboukir (1798).

All this to help him maintain his great plan in continental Europe which unfurled from 1804 onwards when he became Emperor, which was to invade Britain by sea; Of course that fell apart after Trafalgar, so Bony went off to Austerlitz which had him ending up in Moscow! Yikes;.. we know what that leads to.

So...From France's imperial play in Spain in 1809 as depicted for posterity by Goya came the demise of Bony. His loss of Spain and Portugal was the straw that broke the imperial camel's back.

The Bonapartes were a latter day version of the Hapsburgs, trying to put right what the Bourbons got wrong (remember they lost their heads!).

All Oligarchs end up under the scaffold if they go to Moscow!

I hope Potus has understood that.

Or is it the other way around...that the border is the distraction from WWIII and a flailing and dangerous global elite who would rather nuke the planet than have to play by the rule of law?  I'll take my chances with the immigrants over the NWO any day.

So Gaza and the Ukraine are just side shows meant to distract us and we are all fools?  I can actually pay attention to more than one things at time...it seems that is tougher for some others to pull off, eh amigo?

This is the Saul Alinsky technique. And Tyler is not a part of it: it's Obama's effort to wipe out unwelcome media stories about scandals by injecting new media stories to divert attention onto new crises. The Ukrainian development was pushed instantly into a he-said she-said story by Obama. Instead of giving his support for a calm investigation along with other leaders of the world including Putin into what really happened - he deliberately used the Malaysian jetliner shoot-down to take off a number of major stories from the front page, at the same time provoking war.

Isn't it convenient, for example, that the Israel Defense Force, amassing and threatening a ground invasion of Gaza for more than a week, selected the Malaysian shoot-down as the best time to roll tanks over the border? And, of course, for Obama, it was a pretty nice opportunity to get his border fiasco pushed to the inside pages.

In short, the Saul Alinsky technique to rapidly add fuel to the crisis fire, probably by presidential advisor John Podesta, deliberately was used to turn this Ukraine airline tragedy into accusations against Putin personally - the White House deliberately mismanaging this tragedy to take the spotlight off Gaza and the Mexican border. Here's Alinsky...

"Always keep pressure on your opponent: Ridicule your opponent: Pick the target, preferably a person, then freeze it, personalize it," et cetera.

Salon has an article today that if you type in “the most moral army in the world” on Google, you get page after page of the Israeli Defense Force, some saying it is, some saying it isn’t. But it’s all about the IDF.
