wrong. the US is just the biggest shareholder, it has no majority

in fact, the US tried to kick France out of the IMF chairmanship... since the IMF was founded. and yet all the other shareholders still stick to France

meanwhile, all the "bad things" you hear about the IMF? mostly because the US Congress is under pressure by all the other shareholders, in particular the BRICs, to reform the shareholding of the IMF

in short, to highlight the childlike behaviour:

Brics: "we want moar shares! we want an increase of both total and our shares!"

US Congress: "FU! FU! FU!... and the IMF is bad, bad, bad"

Brics: "either that, or we will set up our own IMF"

USC: "FU!..."

GetZeeGold, I was not trying to rub in anything. it's just a fact that US Taxpayers are generally convinced that they have to pay for the IMF... while it's others that contribute most of it

"most of it" being 82%

Lagarde? Christine Lagarde was talking to a Japanese public. Noticing that Japanese love numerology, and humouring that

though in Japan numerology is not the same as in the West, where it has mystic connotations, links to it's origins in ancient Babylon, and of course lots of links to later satanic cults, particularly in some crazed parts of the said West

lost in cultural translation...
