US: Just TRUST Us, We Wouldn't Lie … and Those Iraq War Lies Are ANCIENT HISTORY

George Washington's picture

Graphic by Michael Rivero

In the following 5-minute clip from a question and answer session between State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf and the American press, the U.S. State Department says (stripped of fluff):

We’re the good guys who tell the truth, and Russians are liars.

Forget Iraq … that’s ancient history.

Just trust us.

If the Iraq war is too far back to qualify as modern history, the U.S. government also told a pack of lies LAST YEAR to try to start a war against Syria.  Or is that too long ago to be relevant to judging U.S. willingness to tell whoppers?

As Zero Hedge pointed out days ago, it doesn’t matter what really happened … the U.S. has announced that Russia did it.  Forget fiat money … this is fiat intelligence.

Few people realize that since July of 2013 the American government has been allowed to take a more active role in creating news programs. On July 2, 2013 a taboo came silently to an end with the implementation of a new law passed in the previous January. For decades a so-called anti-propaganda law prevented the U.S. government's mammoth broadcasting arm from delivering programming generated by the government to American audiences.

The new law unleashes thousands of hours per week of government-funded radio and TV programs for domestic U.S. consumption. This was criticized by many human rights activist as a green light for U.S. domestic propaganda efforts and in my opinion it is already being felt. Both government accountability and the role of free media has been diminished. I feel we may now be experiencing this change. More on this subject in the article below.

Comparing this situation to the Iraqi situation is another 'american' stroke. In what way does it compare?
In the iraqi case, the mad man from the desert Saddam Hussein had complied with many, many demands from 'americans', who were lining up investigation missions one after the other.
And more.

Dont ask though where 'americans' were on the Iraqi case, at the time of the crisis (not after) It will provide again another picture of the 'american' nature as they were demanding strong action from their government despite numerous empty feed backs from the said government.

Once again, it shows that the 'american' middle class is the ruling class in an 'american' society.

After their government provided as many empty reports as it was possible, the servants to WeThePeople had to take it as it was: the 'american' middle class was not satisfied and craved for war.

For me, the biggest WTF moment so far has been the encoding dates in the meta-data for that first conversation video that was released being from about a day before the incident. It could be a fluke, but geez, it sure sounds like somebody contrived finger-pointing evidence in advance of a false flag that was pre-planned. The sheer number of attempts at "proof" that are almost immediately debunked by attentive people is pretty damning.

On the flip side, I've yet to see any such proof from the Russians that the Ukrain military did this getting immediately shot down in such fashion.

Why are there so many transparent attempts to doctor evidence proving the russians did it? It's like certain camps are trying too hard, and it just doesn't pass the smell test.

While I'm not so sure that America is directly orchestrating these events, and/or outright lying, they (media and politicians) sure are jumping on all this so-called evidence, long after the obvious proof that these items are pure fiction.

It's all very nauseating.

looking off to the right, often a lie, tend to look down when honestly remembering - but this is a vague guideline.  She was bouncing her right foot for a bit.  Could just be nerves, but the poker player in me bets that's a tell - she's lying.

However, she doesn't know much, and she's also a true believer.  That stuff about the US not lying, and Ivan being a peddler of disinfo...  she really believes.  Her team is honest and concerned about human life and Ukraine joining the West - Ivan is a dark imperial force, trying to recreate the Soviet Union through aggression, deception, and no doubt, no small amount of anti-Semitism  {why did he kick out so many Jewish oligarchs if he's not an anti-Semite?!!}.

In other news, Richard Perle, whom not one American has taken the time to hunt down, capture, and make talk about 9/11 and Israeli spy rings, has been chirping that the neocons are not to blame for today's ME chaos, and that, of course, those who use "neocon" to mean "Jewish"  {Or Zionist, I'll presume} merely because some of the neocons "happened to be" Jewish are nothing but "anti-Semites."

Happened to be, indeed.  Just like the Israel firsters who virtually exclusively staffed the Office of Special Plans - that he thinks he can use "anti-Semite" as a kind of black magick spell would be laughable if it were not so enraging.

That man, that despicable sayan walks around fat and happy. Mossad built NSA's networks, and Mossad gets the raw data, all after Mossad did 9/11.

When you think about it - the rot goes to the roots.  This country needs to collapse.  The trick will be to prevent Mr. Perle's psychopathic, Talmudic kinsmen for being those allowed to rebuild.  Which would be a neat trick, indeed, as few truly grasp that there is a core basis to many of the old tales and canards - a core that applies very neatly to the Ziocon war mongers, who would use American blood and treasure for Greater Israel.

He walks around fat and happy, and most people think the 9/11 myth is as real as the Ark or David's Kingdom, and most are so embedded within the hive mind of the MSM which, obviously, "they" absolutely control - far more than even the most racist paranoid could imagine  {the science behind this now is.... shocking}....  and when the time comes, the cattle will believe that it was Saudi Arabia and the Bush administration, and "new" evidence will be released.... why, Israel tried to warn us, even!!

They'll start locking down the internet first, of course.  For the children.

Trust is a vice of the sheeple to avoid thinking and personal responsibility.

Who should care what a State Department hack wants to believe? The President can declassify the information the US wishes to present, not present a State Department's dolt's beliefs as facts. Does this State Department dolt know how many men were in a legion? Three to six thousand were in a Roman legion. How can we trust Obama and his hacks, when Obama has lied so often in major things.

The distrust of Obama and his State Department, Spy Agencies and all parts of his regime was fully earned.

How true.

The U.S. Department of State has a long history of being disingenuous with the American people. See, for example, the "Secret" cables obtained via wikileaks revealing how the USG helped China shed billions of dollars of its foreign debt obligation at the expense of bondholders:

This whole story has one merit: it exhibits 'american' trends as ever. 'Americans' do not want to hear of reality.

'Americans' have a long story of using propaganda since their inception on 1776, July, 4th.

This stated, it does not mean that anything they say is a lie. The assumption is a weak argument.

In this case we must jump in their and "assume," in order to counteract the universal "Russia did it" propaganda, seconds after the tragedy occured.  But yeah, it doesn't mean the Russkies or "rebels" didn't do it.   I know where I would put my bet though.

Talking of Iraq and ancient history, the story of the ancient Torah scrolls is interesting.  Apparently, they were 'discovered' in 2003 by invading forces, but some reports suggest that the seizure of these scrolls was a priority.

The scrolls were later 'buried' in New York after deemed being worthless, or at least unusable, in accordance with Jewish law.

There have since been demands to return these scrolls to Jerusalem.

Did the Other Shoe Just Drop? Big Banks Hit with Monster $250 Billion Lawsuit in Housing Crisis
Posted on July 16, 2014 by Ellen Brown

"Will the BlackRock/PIMCO suit help homeowners? Not directly. But it will get some big guns on the scene, with the ability to do all sorts of discovery, and the staff to deal with the results."

"Fraud is grounds for rescission, restitution and punitive damages. The homeowners may not have been parties to the pooling and servicing agreements governing the investor trusts, but if the whole business model is proven to be fraudulent, they could still make a case for damages."

"In the end, however, it may be the titans themselves who take each other down, clearing the way for a new phoenix to rise from the ashes."

http://ellenbrown.com/2014/07/16/did-the-other-shoe-just-drop-black-rock...

"Faced with a severe crisis, governments can slap on wage and price controls, freeze currency exchanges, impose rationing, raise trade barriers, default on their debts, nationalize whole industries, issue new currencies, allocate goods and services by fiat, and impose martial law to make sure the new economic rules are followed to the letter, if necessary, at gunpoint. Again, these aren’t theoretical possibilities; every one of them has actually been used by more than one government faced by a major economic crisis in the last century and a half."
