while fox was presidente and bush was decider, the mexico government decided to legalize drugs. (well the CIA wasnt going to allow that, they have a government monopoly) so the idea faded faster than it came, but it gave me a reason to draw a political cartoon where americans are jumping the fence into mexico. which only illuminates the real immigration problem a country of 300-400M people without jobs overtaxed and fed up with a corporate government, or less 100M looking for jobs (min wage is okay) oh and their country has a great deal of arable land, water, and beach front property, very little of it developed.now which way is the real immigration pressure going ?(thinking in terms of physics)

The problems in Latin America were exacerbated through the effects of the European invasion effects of the last Five Centuries, with the American led "war on drugs" more recently becoming the most spectacular manifestation of "blowback" so far ...
However, the Reggae philosophy is typical Black Sheeple stuff, promoted by reactionary revolutionaries. (Ironically, good art tends to necessarily be over-simplified philosophy. But then, the real world has become such a stylized characteur of a cartoon, that nothing else would be comprehensible enough to become popular.)
If one traces the full history of the war on marijuana, which was the primary part of the war on drugs, one will recognize that no other single aspect of legalized lies, backed by legalized violence, manifested more blowback within the USA. Of course, there are deeper and deeper levels, because Latin America was just as much dominated by systems of bullshit as the USA was. However, nevertheless, there has been no other single identifiable cause of the undermining of the USA, backfiring in its real consequences "South of the Border," than the "War on Drugs" (which was about 75% the war against marijuana.)
Of course, President Obama is revealed to be a superlative professional liar and immaculate hypocrite with respect to every issue that one investigates. However, given what we actually know for sure about his background (which is very little), the one thing that stands out with certainty above all the rest is his hypocritical attitude towards marijuana, and the war on drugs in general, which exemplifies how his handling of the problems "South of the Border" are expressions of the ways that the American short-term triumphs of legalized lies, backed by legalized violence, are now finally coming around to their longer term, multi-generational consequences, where their blowback effects are going off the scale of anything previously seen!
Too bad, so sad, that it is practically impossible to have any rational public debates about any of these issues, but rather, we are reduced to some visual combat images being about the only thing left that can have a punch.
