The Two Narrative being:

Before Baird got to Riyadh he stopped off in Jerusalem to meet Netanyahu. Almost all foreign ministers go to Tel Aviv on offical govt. meeting because Jerusalem is a split city and not recognised as the Israeli capital.

My friend (he's a Canuck) made the meeting but none of the offical Saudi govt. (some 10-15 people)showed up. Baird was asking my friend, 'Why the mix-up'? My friend said nothing.
