Conversely you can become active by personally confronting those whom you know, convincing them, through persuasion, that a change is necessary.
When you drop your cloak of anonymity, to your friends, you may very well be surprised that they may agree with you. You may very well be surprised that they have had the same thoughts and were too timid to voice them.
But then you may also find out that those whom you mistakenly thought to be your friends are not your friends but your frenimies.
But at least you will know the truth and the truth will set you free from bondage to your "frenemies".
There is always a risk. But your level of participation is up to you.
