A funny thing happened since The US unleashed Russian-economy-crushing sanctions... the "costs" appear to have weighed down US and European stocks as Russian stocks gained?
As a reminder since the initial sanctions in March, the S&P 500 is up just over 4% and Russian stocks up just over 13% - so much for Carney's "sell" order.
But Jack Lew promised:

Obama wouldn't know about costs. He has never had a job in anything but a law firm and government and has had his way paid by other people.
The solution is obvious: MOAR sanctions!!!

As is observed here multiple times a day, the stock market has nothing to do with the economy.
Somebody will blame Putin for a US stock market crash.
He's certainly a major contributor - not the cause of it -but maybe the spark that lit the fire. As far as blame -he has none. I wish we had a Putin in charge of our country - instead of another crooked, incompetent globalist muppet that simply reads the script and follows orders from his handlers.
