What Countries Are Currently At War? The Complete List

Tyler Durden's picture

A month ago we explained that 11.7% of the world's population was at war and mapped out the key global geopolitical hotspots. However, while Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, and Iraq monopolize the headlines nowadays, they are not the only groups currently at war. Serious armed conflicts are happening all over the world - we just don't hear about them. Here's our complete list of the wars happening right now...

Scotland... they missed Scotland and what will remain of the not-so-United Kingdom.

Oh wait... that war is still over a week away. Those damn Scottish terrorists are just doiing this to avoid the military draft that Cameron has planned for them to fight against the Russians. He always said nobody dies better for King and Country than the Scots...

Maybe 11.7% of the world's governments are at war, but I don't think a given Ukranian citizen has any trouble with his neighbor, nor any particular Russian citizen. Isis, on the other hand, seems to have a lot of problems with a lot of people, but they aren't 11.7% of the population of the world.

Main stream media slanted.

The video reports the Ukraine government fighting Russian backed seperatists. She states NOTHING about the present Ukrainian puppet government installed by the US. Or the backers of the "terrorists" in Syria. How about the useless conflict in both Iraq and Afghanistan started by? You guessed it! The good old US of A! Hows that liberation from Ghaddaffi in Libia working out? Not so good eh?

Except for those "poor" (no oil) African countries at war, all the rest of the conflictd have the American finger prints all over them. Welcome to the ;and of the free? Free from what? Certainly not the FEDS!

The Scots on the other hand are going to blame the Wankers for the war because the Trident submarine base in Scotland will likely be annexed to the not-so-United Kingdom in the event of Scottish Independence.

Unlike Crimea the residents of the soon to be annexed Scottish territory DO NOT have to be burdened with a referendum to join the not-so UK.

Just as I suspected:  Most of these involve some tainted religious sect that feels it is ok to use violence and bury helpless fellow humans because they believe something else.  Now that's tolerance, the same kind of tolerance that "their God" has.

Religion is a cover for a sick bunch of so-called elite families across the globe coveting someone-else's resources and independent banking system.

Few wars are ever about religion, that is a tool for controlling the mindless useless eaters.

Sick elite families are inter-generational so their wars span many millennia and they use any bull shit they can to incite people - religion, drugs, race/colour.... whatever  reason that will incite people to seek control through violence, whatever manufactures moral superiority in a group of people to act barbarically to another human. They spend countless years and hours working out our weaknesses for the purpose of manipulation of a reasonable sized percentage of every population in every nation, the goal is always de-stabilization.

Through chaos there becomes their desired order.

People fall for this again and again and end up frequently at a point of no return - that is the goal; inciting hate and chaos so normalized society cannot be resumed and voices of reason are drowned.

Just consider the WMD debacle after 9/11. That was irrational and contributed to inciting further so-called religious tensions. Extremism tends to rise within extreme circumstance manufactured by criminal elites, when the extreme circumstance persist it distorts the perspective of youth who grow into adults, and feeds vocal voices that would have otherwise been ignored as the very same youth would have been busily growing their own businesses, farms and families.

Its sick.

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.... or something like that from Gone With the Wind :)

Personally I am tired of people who can't step out of the box to practice critical thinking - I am not that smart, but I have tried to read and talk to those who can explain opposite arguments to my potentially manufactured beliefs about religion, politics, economics etc etc.

In fact its viewed as perverse to do this. Why would a good Catholic girl explore Islam personally 20 years ago? It was not a crime then, just an investigation, a curiosity that raised one or two alarm bells as did investigations into Green Peace, Jesuits, Cecil Rhodes.... and so much more.

We each might to get a point where these issues are so obviously manufactured, played and exacerbated that we instead focus on ensuring our folk can continue regardless. Men and women are at their best when not locked into a cesspit of economic decline.

Lazy twits will exist but in the minority, most will try to grow their families and businesses with pride and sweat unless their thinking has been perverted by a higher "calling" - that ain't the fault of a belief system, its the fault of a belief system manipulated by increasingly extreme circumstances.

Think what you will of Muslims living in perpetually bombed nations fucked up beyond recognition, and then imagine the EBT card going offline for decades, the welfare cheques stopping over night in all our Western nations....the behaviour will be horrid, the religion will be irrelevant.

Would that perhaps be called Christianity?  Far as I can see that is a TAINTED religious sect.  Always has been.  Before you condemn take a look at Catholics.  Take a peek at child abuse by Christian "sects"; Take a peek at huge financial rape of the Vatican. Look at what those hooded idiots in South USA call justice while they buy and sell and hang slaves. Look at McCain. Look at your own back yard.

The photo you refer to is not from ISIS, put the image into google image search and you can see it first appeared in a story regarding human sacrifices in northern China in 2012.  The second image in that report of clearly the same woman being cut in half is clearly photoshopped.  Suspect the blood catching is china image of pig blood letting which they drink (urgh, and some sicko replaced the image with the woman and did some photoshopping.

Saying that ISIS needs to be sent to meet their god as quickly as possible. Saddam had many faults but he at least kept all the factions in line.  I don't believe democracy works in these cultures they seem to respect the strength that comes with dictatorship.

"Would that perhaps be called Christianity"?

Uh, No, that would be radical Islam.

Implying that modern Christianity is the same as radical Islam is erroneous by any objective measure. Christians were ounce as barbaric as these convert or die animals....1000 years ago. And just like radical Islam doesn't represent the whole neither does pervert catholic priests.

Your argument essentially

I should ignore or view as equal radical Islamic animals because of perverted priests and slavery 150 years ago.

Borders are a creation of man and not visible to the birds flying above. Much bloodshed and many wars could be avoided if the issues of regime change or borders could be handled in a more rational and constructive way, but do not expect this to happen. Borders and political control is a problem that haunts man since before the written word.

Recently President Obama and other officials have talked about the legal sanctity of sovereign borders, but in reality this is an argument of convenience masking deeper issues. When it comes down to it we are just pawns in this sad power game. If you doubt this just ask some of the many people displaced from their homes in Syria. More on the subject of sovereign borders in the article below.
