Missouri Governor Nixon Delivers Statement On Ferguson Turmoil
In a few moments, Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon will speak at 4:00 p.m. ET. about the turmoil in Ferguson. As NBC reports, Nixon canceled a planned visit to the state fair and said he would visit the St. Louis suburbs Thursday after a fourth night of civil unrest over the police killing of Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager. Nixon said in an earlier statement that the worsening situation in Ferguson was “deeply troubling.”

What came first the chicken or the egg? Capitalism is about profit we all know. But it is also about controlling Legislators, Keeping the Lobby, Using Money as power to get support of Regulators, universities, and the Labor Market. It means getting lower taxes on the wealth and using resources overseas. Capitalism is not about taking care of people.
President Obama is a Capitalist who supports War, and who supports crazy progressive, liberal, or socialist ideas on the Side... such as Open Borders which the Republicans also support, and Corporate Subsidies and FISCAL Spending which the Republicans also support.

The executive director of the Fraternal Order of Police criticized President Obama Thursday for his remarks about law enforcement in Ferguson, Mo. "I would contend that discussing police tactics from Martha's Vineyard is not helpful to ultimately calming the situation," director Jim Pasco said in an interview with The Hill. "I think what he has to do as president and as a constitutional lawyer is remember that there is a process in the United States and the process is being followed, for good or for ill, by the police and by the county and by the city and by the prosecutors’ office," Pasco added. . . . Pasco said both police and members of the public are entitled to due process but said he is not convinced police have used excessive force in Ferguson. "I'm not there, and neither is the president," Pasco said. "That is why we have due process in the United States. And this will all be sorted out over time. But right now, I haven't seen anything from afar — and maybe the president has — that would lead me to believe the police are doing anything except to restore order." What is needed is a state constitutional admendment taking the investigation of cops and charging them with crimes out of the hands of the cops themselves, and the DAs. Neither can be trusted to be honest.

Investigation, really, how long should it take to see that an unarmed man at least 20 feet from militarized police is shot in the back. If it were anyone else who is not cop would be in jail and wait for a day in court. This is BS and is happening all over the country. St. Louis was always a sketchy city to be assigned to as a corporate drone. Now it is firmly in the "no thank you" zone. That whistling sound you hear is the sound of falling property values.
Saint Lou may see some falling property value, but it's no Detroit. Being at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers means that St. Louis is likely to have a resurgence in importance if/when the country's trucking network diminishes due to passing the peak of oil production.
