There's a difference when a citizen commits abuse against another and a policeman commits abuse against a citizen. A policeman is suppose to be someone we trust to defend and protect not to shoot unarmed citizen. Why do we need police to have license to shoot anyone and comes out with an excuse and not be liable? We can do that ourselves but when we do we go to jail regardless until after the court trials.

About a week or so ago two of these "gentle boys" murdered a Professor from the Pharmacy school here in Chapel Hill who was a first rate cancer researcher. The tried to rob him and beat him to death with a rock at 1:00pm in the afternoon on the campus at UNC-Chapel Hill. The boys had a rap sheet a mile long and one was wearing an ankle bracelet from a very recent court appearance. The professfor was Chinese...oh well I guess that doesn't count with the libs or the Rev. Al...or CNN, etc.

Here it says the workers were terrified, they rushed the store looting. Workers locked themselves in the back, then decided to escape before it burned. Looters were keeping police at bay.

I can't tell what's happening in the video. Looks to me like everyone went to the counter to pay for their goods. But of course we can't tell for sure, because the resolution and view angles are insufficient. Either I'm missing something, or people like to pretend they can accurately interpret grossly inclusive videos like these. For those who say, "sure, just shoot looters", my question has to be, "are you certain beyond a shadow of a doubt he was looting?", and "do you believe in the notion of innocent until proven guilty?".
On the other hand... if the owner or operator of the store is in a position to know for sure someone is looting him, for them to threaten to shoot is reasonable, and to actually shoot if necessary is reasonable.
In short... everyone must take responsibility for what they are doing, for knowing what they are doing, and for making sure they know what they are doing before they do anything non-reversible (like killing).
Did the cop know for sure what he was doing (the right thing) when he shot an unarmed kid in the back? Seriously? I very much doubt that.
