Reuters reports,
Ukrainian artillery destroyed a "significant" part of a Russian armoured column that crossed into Ukraine during the night, President Petro Poroshenko told British Prime Minister David Cameron on Friday, according to the presidential website.
Separately, a Ukrainian military spokesman said Ukrainian forces had tracked the Russian armoured column as soon as it crossed onto Ukrainian soil."Appropriate actions were undertaken and a part of it no longer exists," military spokesman Andriy Lysenko told journalists.

While the white trucks came to a halt well short of Ukraine's border, a different Russian convoy did cross into Ukrainian territory late on Thursday evening.
The Guardian saw a column of 23 armoured personnel carriers, supported by fuel trucks and other logistics vehicles with official Russian military plates, travelling towards the border near the Russian town of Donetsk.
After pausing by the side of the road until nightfall, the convoy crossed into Ukrainian territory, using a rough dirt track and clearly crossing through a gap in a barbed wire fence that demarcates the border. Armed men were visible in the gloom by the border fence as the column moved into Ukraine.
Kiev has lost control of its side of the border in this area.
The trucks are unlikely to represent a full-scale official Russian invasion, and it was unclear how far they planned to travel inside Ukrainian territory and how long they would stay. But it was incontrovertible evidence of what Ukraine has long claimed – that Russian troops are active inside its borders.

The armoured column seen by the Guardian appeared to be further evidence of Russia's incursions, which the Kremlin has repeatedly denied.

The Russians have to be smart enough to know knocking out the power grid in the US doesn't help them especially in the age of total warfare and that includes digital media and if the US did it you think sentiment is bad now when people realize the US wouldn't hesitate to destroy a whole electrical backbone (including internet over Old Kazaria).
There is absolutely NO reason to imagine that Russia would move beyond Ukraine's Western borders. Russian troops have a legal basis for entering Ukraine at the Eastern border and protecting ethnic Russians from being killed by genocidal Ukes. They may have to roll into Kiev and provide the safe corridor to ensure fair elections.
Every other nation with a sense of self preservation would do the same.

The idea of America getting involved or jumping into a war in Ukraine would have been hard to imagine a few years ago. As I write this we are funding and encouraging Ukraine to wage war on its own people. This has the potential to escalate. Allowing events to deteriorate into a major war or possibly into what some see as World War III is becoming a reality.
As insane as it appears this could become the final outcome. The location of this as a military confrontation is right in Putin's backyard and this is a strong advantage for Russia. It is silly to think Putin and Russia will back down. This means poking the bear is not a smart move. More on this subject in the article below.

First, the UK newspapers have this pattern of showing dated photos of Russian vehicules and then making provocative statements about them. Now if they had backed up their statement with photos and/or video along with using the GMS on their phones to indicate exactly where they were, it would be easier to verify. Instead all we have is a couple of tweets from UK journalists saying that APCs have crossed into Ukraine!?! Just like when they accused Syria of shutting down internet access in the country (when it was NATO through proxies) and when they again accused the Syrian government of the chemical weapons attack (when it was the Al Queda linked rebels). Given the consistent pattern of UK newspapers with these sort of provocations, I'm going to hold judgement until more definitive proof is provided.
