The Guardian was involved and initiated the story. The typical suspects already knew their roles. NATO and the US were already prepared to "confirm" the story. Then select politician in the EU play there role and talk of the breaking of international law.

But the Guardian did so on orders from someone who coordinates with Kiev and NATO. Certain EU politicians were already prep'd to make statements as were some in the UK.
Why did they expend so much capital on this, assuming it will become clear it was a lie, including discrediting one of their controlled news outlets in this way. Is this the first of a series of already planned false stories and false flags to be unfolded in sequence to justify some type of direct action against Russia. The two parties to this conflict -- Kiev/Washington and Moscow -- are pushing two distinct solutions to the problem posed by Ukraine's complete lack of viability as a state as now constitued: Kiev/Wahington seeks to cleanse Eastern Ukraine of its Russians. They believe Ukraine must remain a unitary state and to this end must be forcibly Ukrainianized even if this requires genocide. Consider Porosehnko's policy during the brief cease fire in early July: you can leave and go to Russia, or you can stay but first you must drop your weapons (i.e., meekly submit to forced Ukrainianization.) Kiev/Washington's would certaintly solve the problem of Ukraine's utter lack of viability as a state. Trouble is -- it's a Nazi-style solution.
Then there is Moscow's approach: immediate cease-fire along with negotiations to re-constitute Ukraine on a viable basis: end the practice of Kiev centrally appointing governors, regional autonomy along the lines of pre-Lincoln USA (in fact more like the US of the Articles of Confederation-- i.e., pre-1789), neutrality as a constitutional provision (i.e., non-membership of any military bloc), Ukrainian and Russian both given the legal status of official languages of state (in Finland, 5% of the population is of Swedish originand most of those are completely assimilated, but Swedish is one of Finland's two official languages), and a solution to the pipeline issue that would have Russian throughput, Ukrainian ownership (plus transit fees) and European (most likely German) management of the network, etc.
Now do you see what so many ZH people think V. V. Putin is in the right? His approach is not neo-Nazi,but really quite enlightened.
So, if VVP wants peace, why is he supporting the pro-Russian forces in the East? It is absolutely unclear that his support amounts to all that much; certainly the pro-Russians regard it as woefully inadequate. But he supports them for 2 reasons: 1) the Washington-backed Ukrainian military is coming at Donetsk and Lugansk with genocidal intent, and 2) if Moscow were not supporting the East Ukrainian forces, Kiev would have no incentive whatsover to negotiate. One suspects that if Poroshenko were master in his house, those negotiations would have taken place long since. Clearly, Washington calls the shots, and Washington is determined to dragoon Ukraine into its hive of compliant states no matter the cost in human lives.

The Obama Administration has halted missile shipments to Israel and a huge new diplomatic row, which some officials are calling a “very serious rupture” is emerging tonight, after the Wall Street Journal revealed Israel was taking US weapons to use in Gaza without the permission of the White House.
According to US officials, the Israeli Defense Ministry was getting arms directly from the Pentagon stockpile in their country without asking either the White House or the US State Department’s permission. This was done in spite of the arms coming concurrent with direct US-Israeli talks on another $225 million in US funding for their Iron Dome system.
“We were blind-sided,” noted one US diplomatic, while others said they were particularly concerned that Israel took artillery instead of precision-guided arms to use during their bombardment of civilian areas of Gaza.
It was particularly galling that Israel took the arms without asking the White House, since the billions of dollars in annual US aid has essentially bankrolled the entire Gaza War, and having burned through all their US-provided arms and ammo, they simply went to the Pentagon warehouse and grabbed some more.
Pentagon officials are trying to downplay the incident, saying that Israel didn’t need the permission of the White House or State Department to take the arms. Whether or not that is strictly true is unclear, but doing so was clearly irksome to the administration.
In addition to stopping the shipments, the State Department announced a new “review” of all arms shipments to Israel, though they insisted the timing of this was coincidental, and was simply a function of concerns about the invasion of Gaza.
