As reported earlier, the governor of Missouri announced earlier his afternoon that starting midnight, a curfew will be imposed on Ferguson until 5 am as part of the state of emergency unviled by the governor. The only problem is that with about an hour to go, the protesters have filled the streets and are refusing to disperse, even as police in riot gear is present and roadblocks have been setup.

America's structures are Western. Your Congress, your lobbying groups, your free speech, and the way ordinary Americans either get involved or ignore politics are peculiarly Western, not the way most of the world operates. But the fact that only about a third of Americans deem it important to vote is horrifying in light of how close you are to losing your Western character.
Writing letters to the press, manning stands at county fairs, hosting fund-raising dinners, attending rallies, setting up conferences, writing your Congressman - that is what you know, and what you are comfortable with. Those are the political methods you've created for yourselves to keep your country on track and to ensure political accountability.
But woe to you if - or more likely, when - the rules change. White Americans may soon find themselves unable or unwilling to stand up to challenge the new political methods that will be the inevitable result of the ethnic metamorphosis now taking place in America. Unable to cope with the new rules of the game - violence, mob riots, intimidation through accusations of racism, demands for proportionality based on racial numbers, and all the other social and political weapons used by the have-nots to bludgeon treasure and power from the haves - Americans, like others before them, will no doubt cave in. I have 3 prisoners of Common Core and school system that believe they have some "ownership" over my child that supersedes my own responsibility. I have in fact fought their policy that stated I could not take my child home early and proceed to the line if there were 20 minutes or less before school bell rang. It was their policy. I informed them that I too had a policy and if MY child were on location, then as the PARENT and legally responsible party of my child I would in fact take my child with me whenver I deemed necessary and until they started being financially and legally responsible for the care of my child they need to just call my child for early release and I will be on my way.
In another instance when my mother died, we had to leave the state to handle the affairs and attend funeral etc... Missed 4 days in a row. My child in his first 6 years of school had never made lower than an A (pre common core) and always the model student behaviorally. Upon our return he along with his brother in kindergarten at the time caught the flu causing both to miss another 4 days.
Naturally I had called in an informed them of the death of my mother before we left, then called to inform them of the flu situation. About 10 days later I received 2 letters for each child threatening the call of CPS if their absences reached 10 in any given semester. I called the school's principal and apologized profusely for my mother dying and promised that it was a 1 time occurrence. Also let them know the next time my child had 102 temp I will gladly bring them to school and hope they all became infected.
One principal apologized for the letter and stated it was a mistake that should never have happened, the kindergartener while the 6th grade principal stood firm in "I'm just doing my job" after wondering why the child's record and circumstance was not taken into account before resorting to threats. If this letter has to go out then perhaps it should be in the vein of informing as opposed to threatening. As he hid behind "I'm just doing my job" I reminded him of the last group of people to use that excuse and he would in fact have made a very good Nazi though I questioned "how did that work out for them in the end". He then implored me to stop as he was retiring this year and just wanted to get through the rest of the year so I dropped the matter but took my shots.
My biggest problem is that my children have too many years left dealing with the public school system and I have too little time left to play the devil's advocate for my kids so they question "conventional wisdom" of the day and think for themselves at all times so they can own their mistakes. Nothing worse than making a mistake you cannot take responsibility for but HAVE to anyway. Consequences are everything. Do not believe what you read, watch or see. Put it to the "common sense" test instead of just taking a school or governments word for it . WHY may be the most important word in their vocabulary.
I never place faith in anyone but myself. Comes from abandonment issues I suppose. If you can't trust your parents...???

Lastly, what would the bureacracy have to sustain itself if there were no regimes of resorce allocation and oppression to manage? Is there a necessity for consolidation of the control of production and distribution, redistribution and oppression; or for the managers of these consolidated fiefdoms to exist if the system is decentralized and the allocation and control regimes dismantled? I think not...
