National Guard Sent To Ferguson After Night Of "Molotov Cocktails, Shootings, Looting And Vandalism "
After three consecutive days of rioting and looting in Ferguson, MO, despite a second night of curfews which was honored by few if any, Missouri's governor said on Monday he would send the National Guard into the violent suburb to "restore calm" after authorities forcibly dispersed yet another crowd overnight. Gov. Jay Nixon signed an executive order deploying the U.S. state militia, saying demonstrators had thrown Molotov cocktails and shot at police as well as a civilian, a description of the night's events diverging widely from some eyewitness accounts.
“Tonight, a day of hope, prayers, and peaceful protests was marred by the violent criminal acts of an organized and growing number of individuals, many from outside the community and state, whose actions are putting the residents and businesses of Ferguson at risk," Nixon said in a statement on his website.
As we reported overnight, around dusk on Sunday, hundreds of protesters in Ferguson including families with young children fled to safety after police wearing gas masks and body armor fired tear gas and smoke canisters to scatter them hours ahead of the curfew.
Reuters cites a protester who said that "The smoke bombs were completely unprovoked," said Anthony Ellis, 45. "It (the protest) was led by kids on bikes. Next you know they're saying, 'Go home, Go home!'" Of course, one could say the gunshots that led to injured people were also unprovoked but that is merely in the realm of the rational, something the Ferguson situation has long gone beyond.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said "aggressors" were trying to infiltrate a law enforcement command post and that armored vehicles were deployed to ensure public safety. "We ordered them back. We ordered them back again. After several attempts, we utilized the smoke to disperse these individuals," said Highway Patrol Corporal Justin Wheetley. State Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson told a late night news briefing: "Molotov cocktails were thrown, there were shootings, looting, vandalism and other acts of violence that clearly appear not to have been spontaneous."
He was explaining the police tactics against what he said had to that point been a peaceful demonstration.
"Coordinated acts" by a few in the crowd were "premeditated criminal acts designed ... to provoke a response," Johnson said. "I had no alternative but to elevate the level of our response." He noted most of the protesters were peaceful and blamed the trouble on "a few people bent on violence and destruction."
Johnson said the trouble began after police responded to the shooting of a civilian at 8.25 p.m., which was followed by gunfire directed towards police and Molotov cocktails being thrown. At least one other person was shot, and several were arrested. No police were injured.

Here is something all the budding 'Doctor Evil' types in the world already know:
If a government official (or anyone else) wanted an agent-provocatuer type of operation to happen, he wouldn't need to set it in motion unless he needed control of the timing.
Instead he need only create the conditions where it can, and indeed is LIKELY to happen...and then wait.
It is a much lower risk way to go about such things.
If I wanted to burn down a building without any traceability back to me, I'd leave piles of oily rags there. If I were masochistic, I might leave gas cans opened near the smoking area, or preferably an indoor area that has sparks where fumes could accumulate.
If I wanted a forest fire, I'd inhibit the clearing of undergrowth and then divert the water elsewhere.
If I wanted a race war, I'd equip and train the police to be little soldier-wanna-be's, provide policies encouraging to the use of excessive force, etc...
The ONLY reason I would EVER need to send an agent to provoke something is if I needed VERY TIGHT control of timing.

Targeted negligence is easier, less expensive, and less risky than malice - and accomplishes the same thing.
The total conspiracy position comes up because the government and opposition ideologies are fundamentally the same. We live in a capitalist state and the opposition is capitalist. Therefore, the opposition devolves into McCarthyist-style denunciations of a 'crony elite', the capitalists have to be Jews, communists, blacks, reptilians, etc. - anything but the systemic critique which leads back to the contradictions of capitalism.
Everything must be a conspiracy because the leaders are too much like the opposition. Or more accurately, the conspiracists are in denial that their ideology has led to the nightmare in which we live. Implicating the true systemic and ideological failures of capitalism and democracy would also implicate oneself. No one wants to think their life has been dedicated to waste, has been all for nought. The failure must be excommunicated, so a fictitious enemy is created.
This is a fundamental problem of capitalism and democracy. From the beginning these systems were methods of diffusing power and reality. The outcome of a spy-dystopia is more than appropriate for capitalism, it was the only possible outcome. Another system must be created, and people need to realise that all the modern systems were a complete failure. This means returning to the foundations, reading and working on a critique of what led up to capitalism, democracy, modern republics, socialism, and fascism.

IMHO it just seems weird that certain people start with relative low-means; Ron Paul, Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Obamas as examples > go into government and are suddenly super-millionaires.
Why would you throw Ron Paul in there with the dregs? He was in the military and also a doctor. He was shunned by his own party and fought against in everything he did? Certainly noone was conspiring to make him into a millionaire. If he is one, then he earned it.

My bias comes (mostly) from foia dox released re: The Feds, early occupy and the info contained in the dox. The admitted use of black-bloc protesters who smashed windows in Oakland; the contingency plans to assassinate early occupy leaders.

Are you having trouble spotting them in the pictures above? The two white hippies(guy and girl), the black guy with the long dreds, possible the skinny white kid in the Sox hat and not sure about the dorky looking white kid though.
And tight control of timing is needed. If it happens when people aren't yet accumulated to a spot, or are already leaving nothing will happen worth reporting.
It was timed very precisely & always is, by the police. That is how they operate, always.
Literally without this next to 0% of the damage we saw would happen, be it off by only a few % of people arriving/leaving or an hour or two from the peak moment.
There's simply no sensationalism without this timing & without a justified show of force there's less police-budget too.

The New York Times would be celebrating this police (if) injustice if the victim were white and the cop were black. The liberal-infested media has too much power to control events and implement its vision for the United States. Shame on the politicians of the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's for letting THAT happen. Another way of looking at this: the people of Ferguson, population 20,000 (!) are on the front line of resistance to Police State America, and to everyone's amazement they have been holding the streets and fighting the combined police forces of Ferguson, St. Louis County and Missouri to a draw.
If you aren't cheering for them, stop and ask yourself, "Would I be cheering if they were White?"

Call a friend and spout off about it and listen to yourself. Play devil's advocate, try siding with Ferguson and listen to him argue the other side.
