Ferguson Cop Points Gun At Protesters And Press, Screams "I Will F***ing Kill You", Has Been "Relocated"

Tyler Durden's picture

In the aftermath of recent violent events and now that even the US Attorney General has arrived, one would assume that the Ferguson police had at least some "sensitivity" training about how to approach protesters, especially those "armed" with cameras. Not in this case. The footage below out of Ferguson shows a police officer pointing his gun directly at protesters and reporters while screaming "I’m going to f***ing kill you!"

The clip shows a Ferguson officer with his gun raised pointing it directly at a citizen journalist who was live streaming at the time: the incident was witnessed by Infowars reporter Joe Biggs who was also filming the incident.

"My hands are up bro, my hands are up," states the journalist before the cop responds, "I’m going to f***ing kill you, get back, get back!"

"You’re going to kill him?” asks another individual before the journalist asks, “did he just threaten to kill me?"

When the cop is asked for his name he responds, "go fuck yourself."

It didn't end there.

As Infowars reports, "another clip shows the officer pointing his gun as protesters demand he lower the weapon. A second cop intervenes to make the officer lower his weapon as more irate demonstrators demand to know the officer’s name."

The officer’s response to people asking for his name almost immediately prompted the launch of the Twitter hashtag #officergofuckyourself.

Biggs live tweeted the incident, and also took this photograph of the cop.

The incident is certain to provoke curiosity as to just how the local Police department is handling the de-escalation of local tensions.

As for police officer #officergofuckyourself, it appears he is no longer "on location."

One also wonders: if not in Ferguson, just where can this pleasant, if "relocated", individual be encountered?

"In 2011, then St. Louis County Police Department chief Timothy Fitch attended the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) National Counter-Terrorism Seminar, an annual week-long Israeli training camp where US law enforcement executives “study first hand Israel’s tactics and strategies” directly from “senior commanders in the Israel National Police, experts from Israel’s intelligence and security services, and the Israel Defense Forces,” according to the ADL’s website."

That also is training.

There are no perfect people. It is all training in what is the correct thing to protect and defend.

How much training do you need to effectively serve and protect people who you believe want you dead?

This is not nearly as much a training problem as it is of a state that breeds hate and then facilitates both sides of the conflict...just like we do in every other part of the world...get it?

We can beat up the cops and the blacks, but we must look at the root causes, and it ain't poor training. Its deliberate divisiveness to create chaos. The route to all concentrated unaccountable power.

I happen to know tons about it. And unless the report that he emptied is gun into an unarmed person -- and two shots to the head just for good measure -- prove incorrent then he was not doing proper police work and I can stop right there.

Yes he might be a sociopath as well as poorly trained.

I was responding to the allegation that he was stupid. Police training is supposed to take the place of intelligence (Army, same thing) because in a fast moving situation you don't have time to think. Even smart people can make bad snap-decisions, proper training helps them avoid that.

Nobody on ZH understands what police work is. You need to wrap your brain around this one, because bad cops are coming to a city near you, and you need to know how to respond to them as bad cops with bad training rather than this mish-mash of blame the victim, blame the situation, blame the press, blame the libtards, or whatever else is your personal peeve because these guys have guns and their training in situation management and crowd control looks for shit to me.

Did you forget what country we're in? That doesn't happen here. Kelly Thomas was beaten to death by seven cops while begging for his life for literally no reason. Then the cops turned on the folks filming it, seized phones, chased people into their houses and kicked down doors to seize every known piece of footage. Not even a single written fuckin warning or even a stern talking to.

It's hard to imagine that it is not like that on purpose.

I grew up in the ghetto myself and I had numerous confrontations with the police. While I did a lot of things that could have put me in jail and radically altered the course of my life, by the grace of God I never got busted for any of those acts. Every time the police hassled me it was when I hadn’t actually done anything wrong—call it poetic justice for me, I guess. From my experiences with the police I can report the following: I met one officer whom I believe was truly good, several who were truly bad or borderline psychopathic, and at least 50% of the entire force falls into neither camp and is just going through the motions for a paycheck.

Early on in my attempts to figure out how the world really worked, I formed an impression which has been borne out by experience and corroborated by the testimony of others, viz. that most police officers are drawn from the ranks of the kids who seemed “edgy” back in high school. I’m not talking about the kids who were the hardcore gangbangers and actual criminals, but rather that odd assortment of stoners, skaters, and punks who wore leather jackets and listened to metal, who had just enough of an attitude to get kicked out of class on occasion but who seldom caused any serious trouble. It was perhaps these early experiences around the borderlines of acceptable behavior which caused them to play around with the concept of institutional authority, to recognize the often arbitrary distinction between those who could and could not exercise a fiat, and finally to desire to wield that authority themselves.

Although the characteristics of their outward appearance have often been taken as typical of “troubled youth” and have been employed as melodramatic indicators of such in movies and television, this is actually a pretty sanguine lot. The distinguishing feature of their emotional comportment is a high and unshakeable self-esteem. They are not troubled by anxiety nor do they deeply question the social structure around them. These people simply take the most direct route to personal comfort that they can find; and as they become more efficient at this over time, they naturally gravitate to positions of institutional authority, mainly as a means of “avoiding difficulty.” Police officers, security guards, and also health workers, are often personalities of this type.

If you’re going to be doing police work, you can see how advantageous it is to not be the kind of person who is given over to much empathy, who engages himself in existential susurrations about who the real criminal is or what the person you’re currently arresting might have become if he had been given a better start in life. This is where “not questioning the social structure” comes in handy. It is a valuable trait to have in certain fields, but it is often indistinguishable from coldhearted stupidity.

As a side note, the psychological studies I’ve read make the case that those who listen to metal and hard rock tend to be just the type of people I’ve described above—emotionally well-adjusted and relatively free from inner conflict—while those who listen to softer music and progressive rock tend to have more complex and volatile personalities, and are continuously testing both themselves and the social norms even when they appear not to be. As someone whose playlist is bound to include The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Phil Collins, Pink Floyd, and Supertramp, I definitely fall into the latter category and I can vouch for the truth of that part of the study.

It isn't really that much of a stretch, gentlemen. My parents were ex-army vet hippies who didn't have much money. So yes, we lived in the ghetto and I was exposed to a wide array of '60s and '70s rock from my earliest boyhood on up. When I started to get myself sorted out and to recognize the distinction between my own real preferences and my upbringing, I stuck with the music from the past that I actually liked.

Don't get the wrong idea; I listen to plenty of Wu-Tang and Cypress Hill as I was growing up, too. I dropped all of that stuff as part of my effort to turn my life around, and I am especially happy now that I did it considering that those groups are, to put it mildly, "culturally biased against people like me."

I don't think white suburban wannabes realize that just because they're down with the minorities, that doesn't mean the minorities are down with them. Word?

But surely - threatening to shoot a guy with an iPhone and a punk attitude is over the line.  I'm not willing to concede this country is so fucked it's not over the line.

On the other hand - NYPD and LAPD and forces of any size think of themselves as an above the law domestic army and they run as many criminal schemes as the Italian mob.

As long as you don't ever argue anything with a cop, you're pretty safe. Being white helps as well.

Once when I was given a $170 ticket for failure to wear a seat belt, I just said that it was a steep fine for a guy working an honest day's job ... and the cop nearly went bezerk at the suggestion he wasn't honest.

Most cops are assholes and for the most part, we don't need them to harrass people going about their business and driving to work.

As much as I appreciate your train of thought, what you fail to realize is that most cops are pro Constitution, including the second-amendment, so one day he'll be the only thing standing between you and the federal government that comes to take you away for not going along with some one-world big brother nonsense.

This cop being hounded by a bunch of sociopathic paparazzi trying to cause incidents like this is not a real example of anything other than how obnoxious the faux-press can be and how much they've convinced us that we should be anti-police, and in turn, pro-big government. I won't claim ALL cops are pro-2nd amendment, but a strong majority are (though that is certainly changing as younger, brainwashed-by-mass-media generations begin to fill the ranks).

I just care enough to remind us that there's a purposeful attempt being made by the media and the PTB to cause division and distrust between us and the police. Just keep that in mind, and don't be so quick to go along with it.

I have said this too, I support freedom of the press, but it is clear the press are goading some of this on. Cops/protesters/press/world feedback, there is a negative synergy fueling this. Meanwhile, if the cops did not have this history of acting this way, anyway, none of this is possible.

This individual cop (Wilson) may in fact be innocent. The handling of this makes them look like the insane clown possee (apologies to the actual band by that name).

I don't know about this duchebag but First Responders don't have any laws that they have to abide by and no papers or reports to file. They are officially sanctioned shadow government personnel. When I worked with them in 2005 they seemed like they were training to diffuse potentially socially disruptive situations that could grow out of control as well as natural disasters. The person in charge of the group I knew was a little old Jewish lady on the Forbes Who's Who list of top 100 most influential people in the world.

I asked her, "how do these people get to be part of this group?" She pulled a nickel out of her purse, handed it to me and said, "I hand pick each and everyone of them." I thought that was like really weird that some lady could chose a team of Marines, Communications specialists (Pac Bell). FBI, DHS, CIA and so on to be a shadow government force beyond the reproach of law.

Anyhow I'm sure many people out there know directly of these groups. Anyhow if SHTF if as I suspect they will, people or military that want to see law and order and morality restored, go directly after the most prominent bankers that are funding these types of dangerous and illegal operations and some how bring them to justice the whole globalist centrally controlled idea global dominance will quickly disappear.

One problem is that tech has become so powerful at this point that if the masses lose their individual right and wrong none of us will survive. We need a distributed form of government shared by all individuals to match the powers that technology has already made available. From what I've seen so far the globalists are going about this in the most absolute wrong way.

I am unwilling to accept that a psychotic cop can with one event create an entirely new alternative reality.

So now cops are killing people at-will? That's the real world and I'm crazy for fighting reality?

What is wrong with you people?

No. I do not accept this. It happened but it is not the real world. It is not the way we do things. These people are not cut from the cloth of the human species. It is just a sick little man in a sick little town in the middle of a country that at one time held sick people responsible for their illness. It is delusion to think sickness can now define how we all live. It is psychotic and defeatist. We have never before allowed psychosis to define our values, we never allowed the inmates to run the entire country. We have collective values, we stand for those, and we do not allow one or a few individuals to inform us of what we have become overnight because they want to avoid responsibility for their own damaged mental health.

I'm not sure I can deal anymore with the level of detachment I keep running into here.

Wrong word in this case. "Dead."

You can be righter than right and your case can stand up in court, but that gun pointing asshole has already shown he has poor gun discipline. Here are some rules it is clear he has broken:

#Every gun is always loaded, thus...

#Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. (okay I checked, his finger is straight, not hooked in the trigger)

#Never aim your gun at something you do not intend to destroy.

#Make sure there is nothing beyond what you are aiming your gun at that you would not want to hit. You want to make sure the field is clear.

Is it so hard to believe that maybe, just maybe another cop might have 'lost it' just like this one?

I am putting it to paper now, (as if that matters). I predict the police know that Brown did have his hands up and was trying to surrender and that Wilson did open fire and kill him BUT.........that will still count as a justified shooting because he was DAZED from the previous punch from Brown and still felt imminent threat to his life, even though Brown was surrendering.

And that is how you spin killing an unarmed surrendering person.

You'll find them in Saint Louis, Missouri and you'll find them in Lexington, Virginia.

Why the police continue to have them in their department is the question to ask.  They are a known financial time bomb?  Is the police union that powerful that they can allow misfits to expose the good cops to their recklessness?

Again, this is rule by words and tape; no evidence and it will give the mob a new scenario on white v. black. To the rule of law, asks Thomas Sowell of those who rush to judgment in Ferguson, “do you prefer the rule of the media and/or the mob?” Here’s Sowell’s piece (Aug. 20, 2014):

Mob Rules in Ferguson | Newsmax

Those of us who admit that we were not there, and do not know what happened when Michael Brown was shot by a policeman in Ferguson, Missouri, seem to be in the minority.

We all know what has happened since then — and it has been a complete disgrace by politicians, the media, and mobs of rioters and looters. Despite all the people who act as if they know exactly what happened, nevertheless when the full facts come out, that can change everything.

This is why we have courts of law, instead of relying on the media or mobs. But politics is undermining law.

On the eve of a grand jury being convened to go through the facts and decide whether there should be a prosecution of the policeman in this case, Gov. Jay Nixon of Missouri has gone on television to say that there should be a "vigorous prosecution."

There was a time when elected officials avoided commenting on pending legal processes, so as not to bias those processes. But Gov. Nixon apparently has no fear of poisoning the jury pool.

The only alternative explanation is that this is exactly what he intends to do. It is a disgrace either way.

Race is the wild card in all this. The idea that you can tell who is innocent and who is guilty by the color of their skin is a notion that was tried out for generations, back in the days of the Jim Crow South. I thought we had finally rejected that kind of legalized lynch law. But apparently it has only been put under new management.

Television people who show the home of the policeman involved, and give his name and address — knowing that he has already received death threats — are truly setting a new low. They seem to be trying to make themselves judge, jury, and executioner.

Then there are the inevitable bullet counters asking, "Why did he shoot him six times?" This is the kind of thing people say when they are satisfied with talking points, and see no need to stop and think seriously about a life-and-death question. If you are not going to be serious about life and death, when will you be serious?

By what principle should someone decide how many shots should be fired? The bullet counters seldom, if ever, ask that question, much less try to answer it.

Since the only justifiable reason for shooting in the first place is self-protection, when should you stop shooting? Obviously when there is no more danger. But there is no magic number of shots that will tell you when you are out of danger.

Even if all your shots hit, that doesn't mean anything if the other guy keeps coming and is still a danger. You can be killed by a wounded man.

Different witnesses give conflicting accounts of exactly what happened in the shooting of Michael Brown. That is one of the reasons why grand juries collect facts. But, if Michael Brown — a 6-foot-4-inch, 300-pound man — was still charging at the policeman, as some allege, there is no mystery why the cop kept shooting.

But, if Michael Brown was surrendering, as others allege, then there was no reason to fire even one shot. But the number of shots tells us nothing.

None of this is rocket science. Why bullet counters cannot be bothered to stop and think is a continuing mystery.

Among the other unthinking phrases repeated endlessly is, "He shot an unarmed man." When does anyone know that someone is unarmed? Unless you frisk him, you don't know — until, of course, after you have shot him.

The only time I ever pointed a firearm at a human being, I had no idea whether he was armed or unarmed. To this day I don't know whether he was armed or unarmed. Fortunately for both of us, he froze in his tracks.

Was I supposed to wait until I made sure he had a gun before I used a gun? Is this some kind of sporting contest?

Some critics object when someone with a gun shoots someone who only has a knife. Do those critics know that you are just as dead when you are killed with a knife as you are when you are killed by a gun?

If we can't be bothered to stop and think, instead of repeating pat phrases, don't expect to live under the rule of law. Do you prefer the rule of the media and/or the mob?

In all fairness, the Ferguson police have been polluting the jury pool as well throughout this debacle by releasing other details unrelated to the incident in question. That tape in the convenience store likely won't make it into evidence in court if the cop is prosecuted, so what better way to make the public aware of it then by "leaking" it to the press and polluting the jury pool that way?

Both sides are using every mechanism they can to influence the trial later, just FYI.

Thanks for the note, MsCreant, and even now the suggestion of more evidence is coming in. On Fox News, “Missouri cop was badly beaten before shooting Michael Brown, says source…”

Darren Wilson, the Ferguson, Mo., police officer whose fatal shooting of Michael Brown touched off more than a week of demonstrations, suffered severe facial injuries, including an orbital (eye socket) fracture, and was nearly beaten unconscious by Brown moments before firing his gun, a source close to the department's top brass told FoxNews.com.

“The Assistant (Police) Chief took him to the hospital, his face all swollen on one side,” said the insider. “He was beaten very severely.”

According to the well-placed source, Wilson was coming off another case in the neighborhood on Aug. 9 when he ordered Michael Brown and his friend Dorain Johnson to stop walking in the middle of the road because they were obstructing traffic. However, the confrontation quickly escalated into physical violence, the source said.

“They ignored him and the officer started to get out of the car to tell them to move," the source said. "They shoved him right back in, that’s when Michael Brown leans in and starts beating Officer Wilson in the head and the face."

The source claims that there is "solid proof" that there was a struggle between Brown and Wilson for the policeman’s firearm, resulting in the gun going off – although it still remains unclear at this stage who pulled the trigger. Brown started to walk away according to the account, prompting Wilson to draw his gun and order him to freeze. Brown, the source said, raised his hands in the air, and turned around saying, "What, you're going to shoot me?"

At that point, the source told FoxNews.com, the 6-foot-4, 292-pound Brown charged Wilson, prompting the officer to fire at least six shots at him, including the fatal bullet that penetrated the top of Brown's skull, according to an independent autopsy conducted at the request of Brown's family.

Wilson suffered a fractured eye socket in the fracas, and was left dazed by the initial confrontation, the source said. He is now "traumatized, scared for his life and his family, injured and terrified" that a grand jury, which began hearing evidence on Wednesday, will "make some kind of example out of him," the source said….

I have been working on a fictional treatment of a similar scenario. The basic idea is that civil disobedience on a remarkably small scale can achieve its goals because the police are not able to adequately respond.  What are their choices?

1. They can issue citations and make arrests.

That plays right into my hands in that these things cost money for .gov to prosecute and my resistors (the Brothers) are very thoroughly judgement-proof.  They ignore all this paperwork and fines mean nothing to them.  Gonna lock them up?  All of them?  For what? Swimmng in the court house fountain?  That's going to keep them off the street for a long time. </sarc>

2. Give them the Rodney King treatment.

Despite the occasional shooting, and somewhat more frequent assults, police actions are heavily biased again opening fire and slaughtering en masse.

As this article shows, a few resistors armed with cell phones can goad police into foolish action.  This cop could very likely be made an example of his.  He can kiss his job and pension goodbye.  Next to go will be wife, house, and kids when he's not the rich man anymore.  This man has fucked with the Brothers and has lost big-time.

And just as this individual cop has lost, so can the City, County, State, Feds, and Federation lose it.  Why all these threatrics?  Why doesn't .gov just quietly arrest these rioters/protesters, one by one, until they're all gone?  It would be easy to pick them apart individually until the crowd evaporates.  But .gov can't do that because it's too expensive to warehouse and prosecute lots of people.  And they'd all walk in a day or two anyway.  Ready to rinse, wash, and repeat.

Looting and violence plays right into their hands.  Let this article remind us that their power is substantially attenuated in the face of non-violent resistance.

Looks to me like a loser with a badge, what makes him special that he gets to carry a gun and kill others when he is angry?  What is it about govt that allows the lowest of humanity to lord it over the rest of us?  Why do people support govt anyway given the type of people it attracts?

Dark folk need to become more docile, like the light folk!

If I was cop I’d shoot white kids, nobody cares.   And later, just lose the tape.

This guy's badge needs to be pulled immediately.  This is far worse than the Coneticut cop who was recorded saying that Obama shredded the Constitution. That cop was "voluntarily retired" within days.   This hot head is simply a dangerous loose cannon with self-worth and anger management issues. Absolutely unacceptable and unsuitable for this kind of work.
