In the few "ISIS" videos and tweets I've seen, they've all spoken English very well, as if it was their first language.

Even that "beatle" dude was from the UK.  Makes one wonder, I hope.

NEW YORK (WABC) --

Palestinian supporters unfurled a large flag on the Manhattan Bridge during a solidarity march in Lower Manhattan Wednesday night.

The flag, reading "Gaza, Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions," was hanging on the south side of the bridge so marchers on the Brooklyn Bridge could see it.

"Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions" was a pro-Palestinian campaign that started in 2005 to increase economic and political pressure on Israel.

Marchers were protesting Israel's treatment of the Palestinian people. They marched from Cadman Plaza over the Brooklyn Bridge and to a rally at 1 Police Plaza.

Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour said the banner waved in the evening breeze for up to 45 minutes before New York City police officers took it down.

No one was injured, and the protesters who posted it were nowhere to be found.

The incident took place just one month after artists scaled the Brooklyn Bridge and the replaced the American flags with white flags. It was an act that was widely-acknowledged as a breach of security.

New York City Councilman David Greenfield blasted the NYPD on Twitter for allowing the flag to be unfurled.

"The dropping of another illegal flag on a major NYC bridge leads to the question of whether @NYPDnews is still capable of protecting NYC," he wrote.

But the Palestinian protesters draped their banner from an unrestricted pedestrian walkway, entirely open to the public, 24/7.

No arrests have been made.

...

Some pictures from twitter for those interested.

I like how in typical NYC Progressive logic they blame the NYPD news twitter account as the culprit.

Why of course the clownsuits in DC have been the source of all these threats, anyone with 2 functioning brain cells can certainly put that together.  The clownsuits seem to be blissfully unaware of something called blow-back which is headed our way.  Indeed our country would be better off if the State Dept. and CIA were to be instantly vaporized.  There are some clever, crafty, and determined people in the Mid East who will attempt to extract some revenge because of all the murderous policies the US has pursued.  That is all I am saying.  Why do the people of Switzerland or Iceland have nothing to fear from terrorists?  I think you know the answer...

How can hillary destroy embassies around the world, pimp a book that goes straight to the bargain bin, run for the presidency, and play in ZZ Top all at the same time?

Fri, 08/22/2014 - 10:23 | 5129544 the grateful un...

you can be sure embassy building is a kickback scheme, which is what the book publishing racket is. the politician prints a few hundred thousand (poorly written) and cheaply printed volumes, which are bought up by the contributors, in a block, and the proceeds funneled to the politicians PAC. the books are driven to the landfill where they are recycled. if the book sales turn out to be a loss for the publisher, they also get a tax write off (Romney did this by the way). our embassies are symbols of americas goodness, so everytime one is destroyed the american public gives the military more ammunition (and the NSA) so if they are ducks in a shooting gallery, in the long view its all good. did Benghazi cause any drop off in military adventures in Syria or Iraq? quite the opposite.

Fri, 08/22/2014 - 06:33 | 5128882 janus
janus's picture

janus has long desired to share with you all the nature and power of the Big Lie...but it's so difficult to explain.  why and how it works is near impossible to relate, and that is precisely why its so goddam effective.

it mainly has to do with human's unwillingness to accept their depravity...but there's nothing new with that.  people get-off with masturbatory glee fantasizing about their goodness.  if you want to use people, there is no greater faculty than in convincing any group or individual of their goodness.  you can get anyone to do the most profound evil by rationalizing it as good.  and it's very easy to do.

so, as i go along, please forgive me if this veers to the sinister...i cannot help it if i'm somewhat sympathetic to the manipulators...in that, so very many demand that they are manipulated.  you see it in life; you confront it for what it is; and one such as janus cannot help but acknowledge that it affects the greater share of humanity.  yes, most demand to be slaves of some sort.  get this through your heads before you start devising your golden age.  i wish it weren't true far more than you.

to begin with, accept the truism: "knowledge is power".  it most certainly is.  now, extend that fact.  if knowledge of the truth is power, how much more is an accepted lie of greater power?...especially if it is an enforced lie-truth with shame on the other end; and suppose you own the real-truth supporting the lie.  and again, think for one second how potent is the truth if the lie is contrived to foster the false truth.  sounds convoluted; but such is the fundamental element of majik.

if you can be compelled to invest faith into a lie, and you'd further be ashamed to even entertain the truth, and considering the fact that the lie is a phantom whose end and beginning is tethered to the lie, what option do you have but to adhere to the lie?  you, as a participant in society, have an obligation to the lie; and even your denial reinforces the lie -- as the herd fold dissent into the potency of their aggregate 'truth'.

in this light, the a lie is far more powerful than the truth.  for truth has within it the possibility of negation.  solid Truth is never moral or instructive or easily resolved.  legitimate Truth is messy and nasty.  power will never have any use for absolute truth.  and so they invariably traffic in lies.  this is nothing new.  the only difference now is, you can obtain the truth.

there is only one alternative for amorica as we know it, and that is overt empire...and all its wicked trappings.  i suspect you'll all welcome it.  at least for a while.  but, beware, the lie is out there.  the world is hip to it.  shit ain't like it used to be.  you're all gonna have to eventually embrace the lie...that's what they're telegraphing right now.  and, in point of fact, the truth is you have to accept the lie...otherwise, this is all over -- and not one of you is prepared for the consequences of submission to the the truth.

so, amorica, i ask you, are you brave enough to welcome your lie as truth...you are sprinting toward the boundary of the lie...it's gonna require a painful actualization...you ain't so fuckin good...you ain't, none of ya, free...you every one depend on a cheap form of slavery...you all need others to accept your superiority...lest you fail.

the lie is the secret of your success.  are you happy that you know it now?

it's very much like the garden of eden...once you've tasted the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, there is no going back.

amorica, you are a bloody empire dependent on so many vile things.  learn to love yourself or completely collapse.  that's what all this sloppy duplicity is all about.  you, the thinking classes, have a responsibility to be cognizant of it all.  you have to actively join in the wickedness and sin of its every last bit...lest you be consumed by the 'others'.

okay, i admit, i do like rubbing your face in it...but, all i ask is that you learn to love it.  contort the lie into the truth, won't you!  say to yourself honestly: we, amoricans, must enslave and take and devastate wheresoever our economic interest lie.  we do not give two shits about any brown man's democracy...we will expropriate what is best for us, because they couldn't do a damn thing with it anyway.  i say, really, what are these people going to do with resources...hold them hostage to our progress?  hardly!

believe me, janus knows how tough this all sounds...but, you haven't much choice any longer.  it's either make the lie a manifesto or suffocate beneath the consequences of your beloved 'truth'.

and as awful as this sounds, i must say that i favor the lie over the truth of 'equality'.  i will never accept 'equality'...such promises the sons of janus a fate like those in bedoin hell-holes...like the places where they make my son's shoes.  fuck all that.  give me lies and comfort.  hell, i'll take the truth over it all.  i have no problem saying that they shall serve...and i don't give a damn about their vote or their future.  i think that that honesty makes me better than the rest of you...in the same way your tolerance of the lie makes you feel better for the hapless bedoin.  does it make you more moral to be the unwitting slave-master?  or are you better off as the wise slave?  i'll be happy to see myself in the clear light of day.

but that's just janus,

janus

One big giant vortex of horseshit.

Kerry is saying "the group must be destroyed."

And Hagel is saying it must be done in Syria.

Do you get it?

You see, this is now Assad's fault, he is the one who allowed this to happen and the Neocon war machine wants everyone leanover onto buying into the idea of invading the whole place. Because you do not just wipe a group like this out with drones and air strikes.

Get ready for the horrendous false flag event designed to inflict the requisite fear on the sheeple.

"The group [ISIS] will only be defeated when the 20 million disenfranchised Sunnis that live between Damascus, Syria, and Baghdad reject the group, the chairman [Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey] said [20 Aug 2014]

“It requires a variety of instruments -- one of which is airstrikes,” he said. “I’m not predicting those will occur in Syria -- at least not by the United States of America. But it requires the application of all the tools of national power, diplomatic, economic, information, military.”
