Meanwhile, Outside Of Jackson Hole...
It appears that while most of the world's great unwashed sell-side Economists were not invited to J-Hole this year, this group of protesters managed to sneak in and had a message for QE-ing elite...

Terrists
Had they gone to Ivy League schools, they would understand. But alas.
The T-Shirt nation....
This is what we've come to?!
Nothing says "I'm angry but I'm sure as shit not going to do anything about it," like a protest T-shirt.
Some people are stuck in the soap box phase of escalation. Food inflation will fix that.
How can they be protesters, if they are not looting a liquor store?
Maybe they should rename the place in honor of its most prestigious guest.
I mean like, who the heck was Jackson and why should the hole be attributed to him?
Janet, on the other hand….
You gotta love it..
Protest signs with CHARTS,
Are they in a free speech zone or do they have to maintain a constant walking speed... Seriously
The small number of protesters in Jackson relative to the large number of protesters in Ferguson speaks to the small number of smart people in the US relative to the number of stupid people.
Jackson Hole is a vacation fishing and ski destination, not readily accessible to large numbers of alert protestors, most of whom have jobs and daily lives that prevent them from driving across country for such a brief gathering.
Jackson Hole Wiki
It seems noteworthy that the meeting has been in progress for two days, yet the media is silent. And those shirts and signs are interesting, all apparently from a common source, like the fake protest signs in Iran and elsewhere. Those kids seem harmless, but somebody organized them. Controlled opposition? The signs and shirts seem to focus on relatively minor economic symptoms, not the big crisis ahead. Yes, these look like plants to me, probably getting paid by the hour. It might be illuminating to learn who is covering their expenses.
These tee-shirt wearing protestors need to take a leaf out of our book. Nothing expresses dissent as potently as harshly worded post on ZH.
it would also be interesting to know who was covering the expenses of the people they are there protesting. Oh wait...
or a ZH tee-shirt
any commission 4 me, Tyler
C'mon guys. Sneaking in there with those T-shirts on is a ballsy thing to do and may cost them. You know what they're saying is right. And what else could you do with a good Thursday that would have a better chance of getting a little nibble of attention from the presstitute media that might leak through the wall of lies into people's living rooms?
Maybe you're just uncomfortable with finding yourself on the same side as young Black union members? Many a po white boy has had the same reaction to finding himself sharing a foxhole with a Black comrade, but battle is a great teacher of who your real friends are.
I'm sure printing up "A-hole" t shirts shouldn't be a problem for Yellin and Co.
Next year "we roar in our Harley's!" Head up to the Haybarn for a show, stop off at that rally in whatever that town is in South Dakota "with a Grand Finale at Burning Man!"
Gang FOMC on the move!
How about a shirt that says "The Fed sucks AndrewJACKSONs assHOLE"?
The Fed is not worthy of honoring that orifice.
It's something
LTER...you're right. T-shirt philosophers are almost as bad as people commenting on the internet, aren't they? (sarc)
In reply to:
"Nothing says "I'm angry but I'm sure as shit not going to do anything about it," like a protest T-shirt."
WTF, They packed up and drove or flew to J-hole for a few days, took time off from work, (or lack of work) possibly left family behind to show up.I bet the average real cost for them to show up with themselves banners and tee shirts ....was over $1,000 EACH
Serously WTF!!!!
They did more than us!
Sheeh- what do you expect them to do? We can't ALL be Timothy McVeigh.
At least they showed up! I give them all credit for that.
Protest, and stimulate the economy at the same time! That and it makes them appear more legit. See that's what OWS didn't have, a t-shirt. You see what happened to them.
Does ISIS have a t-shirt? I bet they do, those guys are hardcore.
I definitely want one, gotta be a future collectors item.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2666854/Inside-ISIS-gift-shop-On...
Great marketing strategy first ISIS, then ISIL and now the Islamic State. Everyone who is a fan is 3 t-shirts in already. The CIA has a great marketing department.
If they really wanted to stimulate the economy they would start breaking some windows.
Nothing wrong with the messages on their T-shirts. At least they come up with the right questions and punchlines.
Meh. "Sons of Anarchy" meets "your taxpayer dollars at work!" Throw in some smack talk in', jukin', a chicken dance....
"Take that for forward guidance phuckers!"
The mistake with the message is it assumes problem is low wages. It's what the QE team wants...if wages rise it will prove the experiment worked. Instead the tshirt should say the rent is too damn high.
Exactly. The message is filtered to enable buy-in. These people are not anti-Fed. Where are the shirts that say 'End The Fed?'
Arriving to work in a robe and slippers, underwear is optional. Shakes my head. Suits and ties was my era.
The tech guys pretty much taught the business world that you don't need a suit and tie to be a zillionaire. These days, outside a courtroom or an investment bank, the only guys who are wearing ties are the ones waiting on the guys wearing flip flops.
Old school class and money never goes out of style. Dotcom crash took out many flip-flops. The next one will be worse.
Old money aways survives. New money downgrades to a cardboard box. Easy money is not free. Remember that!
It is amazing and somewhat gratifying to see how many santimonious turds from the 90s are back on minimum wage, selling those same flip-flops.
#TSHIRTSARESOYESTERDAY
Don't be silly, these people are old school, we're #nation.
They didn't have hash tags so it won't go anywhere.
Obama voters. They voted for this. Not like Bushes, Clintons and O are not See Eye Aye goons and NWO puppets.
Could that be oBUMMER's son?
Given the odds of seeing ANY black person in Jackson Hole (much less the rest of Wyoming), could be......
dupe
I surprised the National Park Service hasn't gotten out the hollow points to chase these protesters off.
"We got gang Strip Miners and Offshoot Clear Cutters" for that....
They've already crossed over the border...
Quick, tap their iPhones...wait a minute...
what's a "border"?
Sign on right of first picture:
"When the rich get richer, they call it growth. When our wages rise, they call it inflation."
Yup, and FED don't give a shit because they are of the elite class. Bullish for rage inflation.
Hell yeah! The herd of sheeple are waking up. The crowds will get bigger as the economy gets 'stronger.'
Obama replies #washmygolfballsandearna$1000EBTcard
Looks like a Jihadist protesting for more funding.
Sporting green tee shirts to double dip on climate change funding.
Homeland Security will arrive in a Army surplus APC and round them up soon enough.
Wyoming seems like such an odd place for an og banker party. Then again I guess it does have a rich royal english history.
If you've ever been to Jackson Hole you'd see why it's a prime location for the most hated persons in the world to gather. Nothing for miles upon miles around. Not to mention the magnitude of money there.
I grew up about 5 hours east of there, it is gorgeous. I just find it incongruous.
The whole thing used to be privately owned. "Who let the Government in here?"
You forget - John D. Rockefeller put together much of the land for Grand Teton NP.
Much of the national park system was put together via the efforts of our nation's Robber Barons - at least the looters and plunderers of the 19th century had a sense of guilt - or at least a desire to preserve SOMETHING from their depradations.
A nice side effect is that the wealthy hilding private parcels near such places are protected from the masses - only 3% of the land in Teton County is in private hands. Most of the long time 'locals' can no longer afford to live in Jackson and commute over the mountains from Idaho. You have some pretty spectacular 'residences' on the strip of lad between the national park and national forest - quite convenient to the airport as well.
The reality is that Jackson Hole was one of the last places homesteaded - and many gave up on the place. Short growing season, lots of snow and far from anywhere.
There's very little "money" anymore - and not much "currency" either...there's only the liquidity spigot. Or maybe "trough" would be more appropriate...
Could be planning a heist of the Silver Dollar Bar.
Nothing odd about it at all. Jackson Hole is a winter skiing playground of the rich. Why? Grand Teton National Park(just north of town) was a gift(tax deductible, of course!) to the people, yes, to the people, of the US, from the Rockefeller Family. Yes, they once owned an entire mountain range. Get the connection now? The Rockefellers still wield an influence over the area.
I stayed in what at time was the country's most expensive Motel 6, in downtown JH($120/night in '05), while hiking in the park. Great natural beauty in Grand Teton, and just north of GT is Yellowstone NP.
My most delicious memory of JH was the ostentatious downtown law office of the very independent minded trial lawyer Gerry Spence, including a monumental size bald eagle sculpture(7' wingspan? 9' wingspan?). Don't know if that is still there now.
terrorists
Oh look da-link! They've brought some children out in colorful t-shirts. So precious -- make them sing for me da-link -- oh do have them sing.
While they are no doubt socialist market-intervening protection-demanding government-loving trade unionists, I agree with their sentiment, if not their solutions!
In times like these, we should all be united against...what? Governments? The rich? "Evil corporations"? Fascism? Crony socialism? Crony capitalism? Capitalism? Socialism?
Futurist are still pushing for a variation of Project Venus. This ties in with climate control. Too many guns and not enough support to pull it off.
The accomplished theory will end up collecting dust on the book shelf. This is the plan. No worries.
Liberal Unionist Party have embraced infiltration on Southern Border. Stagnant soft cells merge into modern day warfare.
Sick fucking world we live in.
Get a job a stop bitchen.they will never listen to you so get off the road and get to work or if you must protest go to furgessn
This is central, which is why the conpersons-in-control ignore it:
The Public Be Suckered

This is the one place where if ISIS broke into it would be doing the world a service. Start with all the Fed heads.
People who think revolutions mean taking selfies will be horrified that revolutions mean people dying.
"I went to Jackson Hole and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!"
Why aren't there any cops beating the shit out of them? WTF???
No shit. There are 6 1/2 people in that top photo and one, maybe two are black (must have been bussed in from Denver). That's like half the population of Wyoming. Get the SWAT team in there to tear gas these animals!
The relocation of the Ferguson cop is underway.
Those are the bullet-proof t-shirts. Not banned yet...
Maybe the super volcano under Yellowstone will have a timely eruption, just large enough to cover Jackson Hole in about 20 feet of ash. That might be the quickest path to a full economic recovery.
Get a job hippies! No but seriously..there are a ton of job openings around my area. They pay well..Walmart/SamsClub/Pizza places/...shit even the tire store had a job opening sign out in front of it... good pay too with all of them..excellent government benefits (you'll qualify for welfare if you work any of them) :) ! Party on..print print print... more QE ..more wars! Gold? booooo! Silver? booooo! paper? yaaaaa!
I heard janet yellen is going to queef out moar bitcoins and save the economy.
Pesi or Coke for politics in the great USA! Rand Paul might make it slow down at bit. But to this old Vet it seems like we are slouching into SNAFU!
Regardless of what you call it the "Federal Reserve Nightmare" or the "Yellen conundrum", the box Ben Bernanke made when he painted both himself and the Federal Reserve in a corner remains. Bernanke has by passing the chairmanship to Yellen escaped from the QE trap but left the rest of us fully in its grasp.
With a policy of loose and cheap money and an inflation target of just 2% the Federal Reserve continues to please those gambling that not fighting the Fed guarantees profits. I wish someone would let the Fed know we have already passed their inflation target. Any thought that inflation is not higher has come from the false illusion brought from lower payments on things like auto loans and mortgages. This is a one off and will not continue. Trouble lurks ahead. More on this subject in the article below.

the box that Ben B made has marked on it : Treasure Island.
But you have to read what's written in invisible ink to understand the real picture : PANDORA.
Ben B deserves to end up like Ben Gunn; marooned on his Treasure Island and forgotten !
