One wonders if the captured Russian crew had Langley, VA crew cuts? Unfortunately no one had their iPhone or camera-on-a-sticks to record the action as "proof." but we are sure that won't matter. Cure NATO's comments. Now, how will the market react to this 'proven invasion'? Actually scratch that: more escalation is simply a catalyst for even more pent-up de-escalation in the future...

I'd really like to see evidence, any evidence, to show who is responsible. I have seen none and Kiev has proven to be rather....vague and unable to prove anything thus far. I will join in anger if they can prove the Russians are behind any of this, but thus far they have not. -Who benefits? Did Russia and Novorossiya benefit from the MH17 crash, or was it Kiev and the USSA. Without the takedown of MH17, EU sanctions against Russia were stalled.
-Why was MH17 diverted into the kill zone by Dnipropetrovsk Air Traffic Control? Why weren't the ATO recordings released, as per Russia's request?
-Why are the Black box recordings not released, and why is there a non-disclosure agreement in place that prevent publishing results without the consent of at least 4 governments?
-Why hasn't the USSA released its satellite photos?
-Why are there puncture holes in the cockpit of MH17, consistent with 30 mm shells?
If Russia and novorossiya are guilty, why doesn't Kiev and Washington release real proof, instead of fake youtube and twitter feeds?
Why were the blackbox recordings on 9-11 never released? Why was there no video at Sandy Hoax?

There's no need for Russia to be supplying tanks to the militias since they are capturing so many tanks, artillery pieces, APC, etc. from Kiev forces. Russia must be supplying ammunition, manpads, etc to the militias however, probably indirectly. And they are probably also supplying intelligence to the militias since Kiev is getting destroyed on the battlefield even though they outnumber the militias by a large factor.
Russia is playing the same game the US is, fighting through proxies; there are Polish and American fighters helping Kiev. I could provide links to backup these claims but it would take time.
From what I have read, the rebels have done quite well in spite of the Ukies' vast numeric and equipment advantage. There are many reasons for their success. They have been very good at capturing equipment from the army, including ammunition and ammunition stores. They are also facing a completely militarilly incompetent enemy whose soldiers are ill-trtained, ill-equiped, poorly fed and whose generals are complete twats who know almost nothing about military strategy (well, what do you expect when you fire your best generals and replace them with nazi wanna-be-generals?). But also of supreme importance is that the rebels are fighting for their lives, the lives of their families, their culture and their land - that makes it deadly to come anywhere near them.
Ukraine's ATO forces are on the verge of a complete route and I suspect within the next couple weeks we will hear of their outright retreat to safer country. The big question is - will the rebels let them retreat, as they seem to be getting stronger as time passes.
