Putin Says Everything U.S. Touches Turns Out Like Libya Or Iraq

Tyler Durden's picture

Having been quiet for a few days, comfortable sitting back and watching NATO, Europe, and the US escalate each other's talking points to a frenzy of populist revolt, Russia's Vladimir Putin has come out swinging this morning:

  • *PUTIN: NO MATTER WHAT U.S. DOES, IT TURNS OUT LIKE LIBYA, IRAQ
  • *PUTIN SAYS UN CAN'T BE FOREIGN POLICY TOOL FOR U.S., ALLIES
  • *PUTIN: EUROPEAN LEADERS FAR FROM SHOWING INDEPENDENT THINKING
  • *PUTIN SAYS RUSSIA IS COUNTRY THAT DOESN'T FEAR ANYTHING

In addition to discussions of The Bolsheviks, agreeing Stalin was a tyrant, and slamming liberal economic models for creating crises, Putin notes his approval rating is high because "he is confident he's right."

Some more fun soundbites:

  • *PUTIN SAYS BOLSHEVIKS BETRAYED NATIONAL INTERESTS IN WWI
  • *PUTIN SAYS UNFORTUNATELY SUCH PEOPLE IN RUSSIA TODAY
  • *PUTIN SAYS LIBERAL ECONOMIC MODEL LEADS TO BUILDUP OF CRISES
  • *PUTIN SAYS NOBODY DENIES STALIN WAS A TYRANT
  • *PUTIN SAYS LEADERS WIN SUPPORT BY BEING CONFIDENT THEY'RE RIGHT
  • *PUTIN: FIGHTS AT UN SOMETIMES FIERCER THAN DURING COLD WAR
  • *PUTIN SAYS UNITED NATIONS NOT ALWAYS EFFECTIVE

And perhaps of most note... just as Obama pronounced yesterday that US would not engage militarily:

  • *PUTIN: RUSSIA FAR AWAY FROM BEING SUCKED IN GLOBAL CONFLICT

But...

  • *PUTIN SAYS RUSSIA IS NUCLEAR POWER, STRENGTHENING CAPABILITIES
  • *PUTIN: RUSSIA STRENGTHENS ARSENAL TO FEEL SAFE, NOT THREATEN
  • *PUTIN: DON'T THINK ANYONE SEEKS LARGE-SCALE CONFLICT W/ RUSSIA

*  *  *

So - just like the Cold War - military build-up on either side and constant escalation in tensions...

Russia has seen firsthand the American dream for other nations, as American backed Oligarchs pillaged Russia while it's people starved and were impoverished. Putin loves his country, and and won't sit on his thumbs while America attempts to encircle it through proxies while rationalizing its actions through  corruptMSMedia propaganda.

Unlike the USSA,  Russia does not need to create wars to feed it's Military industrial complex. All Russia and China need to do is wait out the self destruction of the USSA via debt and over extension, and watch the anglo american new world order implode.

A lot of the hatred from the political puppets in the West is due to Putin's popularity. They're jealous sociopaths who yearn to be respected and admired as much as him. The fact that Putin's popularity is never mentioned is the key tell.

This right-on-the-damn-bullseye statement is for European consumption. Vladdy-Poot is hammering home the point that the euros need to stop being America's bitches, think for themselves, consider the terrible "costs" accruing to them for "wearing the blue dress" for America. He's a very, very smart operator.

Will the euros wake up? I'm betting Germany is waking up (Merkel's statement yesterday about the U.S. not being able to cure the world's problems), and as it does, it's going to help the others wake up too. America's "global chaos ploy" is failing. Its cynical, "throw everyone under the bus" strategy just to cut across the rise of Russia-China is exposed for what it is - America cares nothing about the euros or anyone else. All it cares about is its own global dominance in perpetuity, no matter the "costs" to the rest of the world, including its friends and allies.

As Putin said, Russia is the only power that fears nothing. It is fearlessly exposing the U.S. on the global stage. Russia has balls the size of the moon, and you can damn well bet that right now Russia and Putin are secretly being cheered on a grand scale around the globe.

Fri, 08/29/2014 - 12:36 | 5158985 MS7
MS7's picture

Well said. But I'm betting the euros will never wake up. They're too used to others telling them what to do. The people in the EU seem to be more clueless than the people in the US. How else to explain Hollande and the rest of their elected "leaders"?

The secret societies that you speak of have lost thier minds.  That makes sense from looking at the time line.  Think about it, the  people in control now are the Grand Children of the people who Got us into and won WW1 and WW2.  Even though those wars were not necessarly fought for the right reasons.  I think Hitler was a creation gone out of control and the Japennees were a threat to thier global power plan and had to be stopped.  They did have a sense of Nationalism.  Thier grand children on the other hand were raised as spoiled bitches that think the people on the ground are just toys to be manipulated and they believe that the nation itself does not matter in a Global world, they have lost the patroitic spirit and care only for themselves and personal enrichment.  The russian elites still seem have national pride and seem to care about thier populance to some extent.  This can be seen by thier social laws regarding the  family.  If our elites would wake up and see that our success is thier success we wouldn't be in this economic shit show we are in today.  On the bright side having people in control here with a spoiled bitch attitute cannot last long as they usally self destruct.  I just hope they don't take us all with them through some type of last ditch effort to maintain control.

Pretty sure Estonia beat both the Soviets & the Germans and declared its independence (1920), who both teamed up again to subjugate it by a treaty Estonia wasn't even a party to.

As far as Hawaii they can leave with my blessings anytime they want and take their favorite son with them.

Of course, the "Russian" oligarchs who rape's Russia's wealth under Yeltsin were mostly Jewish - and a good number, perhaps more than half, still are.

Jews are less than 2% of the population. They are less than 1% of the population in Ukraine but many, if not a bare majority of the oligarchs there are Jews, including the ex-banker current PM installed by the zionist jew Victoria Nuland.

Oh, but you probably think you still have a 'point,' right?

You don't - the Bolsheviks were initially western-backed Jews and never had the support of the majority of the Russian people.

I don't think that's people's problem. The issue is that lately when the US takes control of countries, it brings nothing but pain and hell to the people there. It's also people's issue with Israel and Gaza. If you're going to take over land, you need to treat the people on it somewhat well and have some level of peace.

Remember the good old days of US imperialism? Hawaii, Puerto Rico, The Phillipines, Texas...

It was Andropov as head of the KGB who saw the dead end of the Soviet system and masterminded perestroika. He was the one who personally,as USSR general secretary, picked Gorbachev as the only man who could bring down Communism in the USSR.  You totally misunderstand the ways of the KGB.  As in they were/are nothing like the ways of the CIA/NSA/DIA/DHS or anything you have in mind.

What is your emotional response when you see a picture of a bare chested Putin riding a horse?  Is it an admiration of his vigor, vitality, manliness, chivalry perhaps?

Fri, 08/29/2014 - 09:26 | 5157983 agent default

You are  a simpleton, aren't you?  Putin is just a front man.  He is a presentable, articulate(unlike some US specimens) , likeable on first impressions and a very much expendable Lubyanka asset.   That's all I think of Putin.  Take Putin out and there will be another Putin right behind him.  Same nobody, same nothing much past, straight out of some Lubyanka office.

However it has come to my attention that you seem to be attributing onto others some sort of homoeroticism about what is ultimately just another tool of the trade.

Would you like to elaborate further on this psychological projection of yours?

Enjoyed your comments, Agent Default.

Many, many people seem to be fatally attached to the idea of there being a "good guy" and a "bad guy". This leads to all sorts of illusions and makes it very easy for the media to manipulate such persons. Best, IMO, to drop the bad guy, good guy thinking and realize that there are only interests. Each side has interests. Each side has plans and contingencies. Each side is playing the game differently. Best not to be fooled by the acting, e.g. seeing the U.S. leaders as either godly or idiots. There is so much more going on than that simplistic front, which is invented for the "chattering classes".  Best not to see Putin as either a savior or "He man". Again, there is far more going on than the media portrayals.

it never ceases to amaze me how so many westerners (not your posts) grossly over simplify complex reality...   for example, if you were in the KGB, then you are evil.  The KGB was a huge organization, with any number of actions, the faction that Putin arose from only being one.  Btw, when you read the back story on how he rose to power, it is quite interesting.   He came from special section that was firewalled off from most of the organization.  their mission was to take back russia from any type of internal (ie zionist) take over...  which is exactly what happened.    If ONLY the U.S. had such a group somewhere in the vast military and security complex...  because it is quite obvious that the american government was captured long ago by the very forces that took over Russia with the bolshevik revolution, the zionists.
