Dear WB;

Good one... I like the pocketwatch/medal thing. You might soon have to change the monetary symbols, though.

Listen,

I got hit by a password-stealing malware 'bot called 'PWS-Zbot/()'. It was probably due to my opening an old video link that was posted regarding Mohamar Quadafi the other night (it imitated an 'update' to Adobe Flash, but it locked up all the keys and windows and wouldn't let me past until I took action). If you see this, shut down by shutting off power; and re-start in 'safe' mode and run a security scan. Apparently, no single security system can take this one out, however. It seems to have a VERY HIGH INCIDENCE of infection across the world (close to 5% of the total reported infections right now), so be fucking CAREFUL.

Here's a link to allow you to remove it:

malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-pws-zbot-virus/

These independents are really good, and all kinds of other shit was removed as well... I had tried removing Adobe, restoring the system, reloading Firefox, and all kinds of shit to no avail. I tried using other single malware downloads individually, but none of them can handle it alone.

I changed all my passwords (after I followed the instructions EXACTLY, and did it twice for good measure, and then re-ran a scan to make sure); including the ZH password. Thankfully, I have an old stand-by machine at the house that was running an out-dated program (and was wiped before storage) that I used to find the solution (after bringing it back on line and updating to minimum operational capability).

Blankfein, Dimon, et.al. are using all kinds of tools to steal money. So are others around the world; as the western nations go in to full collapse, Mr.7.

Listening to Jim Willie, CB (the 'Golden Jackass'), right now. Two releases; Ukraine and Germany; and the Russian discussions with the Saudis vis-a-vis the dropping of the USD from OPEC.

LABOR DAY?

102 million welfare sucking leech-maggots in the CONUS can't be wrong, can they?! (I went in to work today to try to catch up a little. 'Skilled Labor' is hard to come by nowadays, and in the highest of demand. YES, I AM.)

If the employers exploit the Muppets, they will also do it to the robots.

Robots at least need maintenance, oiling, greasing, worn part replacement, upgrades and monitoring.

If a banker can cut a corner with a bot, he fucking will! Those fucking things will be breaking down left right and centre, and with skill shortages brought on by lack of investment our rulers are going to find themselves back in the dark ages in short order.

3D printing will not save the 0.001% as they believe; they are delusional, as even the 3D printers will be exploited by these greedy selfish FUCKS!

Only the skilled man will survive the future –that is, if the crazies don’t blow it all up first.

On a side note, I think we may have bots doing the fight club work here, on zero hedge by the mechanical replies from some comments.

Comedy.

I was thinking about the old 'Muppets Show' skit, entitled 'Pigs In Space'. The pickpocket sould actually be 'Miss Piggy'. This also reminded me of another skit done in a movie by Mel Brooks, entitled 'Jews In Space' (you can find them both on GookleJewtube, if it isn't 'blocked in your country').

There ARE humans who are controlled and manipulated like robots (or Muppets). Early versions include (his name was) 'Francis Sawyer'. Some are self-replicating.

NO KIDDING.

so here's  your next president, okay just tweak the labels around, LB is the president and the money he takes from employers and employees is called taxes. but honestly that's not where he's stealing it, he's skimming off the top of QE (or when QE ends REPO and POMO, which were all the QE they had BB, before Bernanke) which is notational phantom collateral which passes through to the stock market (or to put it more succinctly he fronts runs pension funds and all manner of muppets) LB is no threat to working people and should GS actually take over the world (there was post 9/11 in politics, and post 2008 in economics) should Goldman take over the economy and all three political branches (all they need do is go short, hedge their longs, and hit the sell button, the money all comes back to them, net net they come out even and everyone else goes broke, think about it) when that happens Lord Blankenfien will be our master. (is that any worse than Obama? whew too much thinking, i am just a former working class bozo, who drank too much beer)

Do engines get rewarded for their steam? Looking at our politicians, I'd say so, handsomly. I was just speaking with a fellow at the Jobcentre in the UK who was a bricklayers labourer and he was bemoaning the fact that he is now required to pass an NVQ at a cost of about £4000 to be employed in construction in the UK for the sake of his employers liability insurance.

you're not counting robots, what are the latest productivity numbers? and who owns those robots really? since they look more like you and me than fat cats or robber barons, where are the fat cat robots, the robber baron software? now the economy is just fine if you count the producitivy of that machine which was built to emulate you. the question is they built this duplicate of you, dont you think you should own it?

great work of art and satire, WB7. instant classic

technically/pedantically, only the frog on the left qualifies as "muppet" for the Vampire Squid. note the satisfied look on his face, being a client of GS has often little to do with money made or lost, it's about bragging rights, like being member of the best gym studio or club or whatever

The one on the right gets schtupped via his pension trust and the shitty M&A or private equity deals shopped to his employer who shortly thereafter goes on a restructuring/redundancy spree..

and all this without the great muppet pleasure of an audience with a Squid representative. perhaps you'd have to show how the frog on the right is blenderized

the funniest thing for me about that man in the middle is that he seems genuinely convinced that he is doing "God's Work"

I've seen a photo of him (taken during the 2008 crisis) walking and talking with The Master Of The Universe JPM-CEO. Like a pensive, impeccably groomed Greek God and his trusty and unkempt but cheerful Dwarf Smith

Yes, he truly believes he and his firm have been acquitted of any wrong doing whatsoever. It was all one big misunderstanding.

And the saddest thing is Goldman Squid sets the low bar that all else on The Street aspire to.

Some of you may have followed the fiasco concerning the grocery retailer, Market Basket. During that fiasco, the competition which included Royal Ahold, Shaws, Hannaford etc. positioned themselves to capture their customers. Well, that didn't quite work out for them and I can say safely that several of the biggest competitors who have been doing quite a bit of re-organizing lately and are once again in a bit of a bind, Ahold did some re-structuring and in the process offered a reverse split about 8 months ago.  Alas, once again they are doing more restructuring and their folks aren't too happy. Shaws in in a bit of a financial pickle too.

Might be a food time to look at grocery stocks and let me tell you, this Market Basket thing has them all a bit shaken up. I believe that this also goes beyond the grocery sector.

edit: not spammin you WB7, this was one for the history books and a huge win for labor!

Hey, hey, HEY!

I just come to ZH to see those ads for Russian and Chinese women... AsianDate.com and Anastasia.com... and I gotta go shopping for lingerie for the wonderful, buxom, and 'mysterious' girls for gifts (for 'bedroom time' with me)... and my mother's cousin's best friend found a way I could afford to do this by spending an hour a day on the internets, and she makes about 25 thousand dollars a day, and so can you by clicking on my name... and I have to buy a 'supporter' for myself because the demand for my 'services' by the Russian and Chinese ladies are wearing me out... my poor sagging balls... (What's the best remedy fore a sore penis? DON'T FUCK with it!).

As long as you are O.K. with my searching for 'male performance enhancers' and 'pain blockers' to supplement my current state, I'm safe. I hear that the Canadians have lots of those websites (so the ZH people had better sign them up as advertisers pretty QUICK, for MY sake)...

Oh, LOOK! I can get a SATURDAY MBA from MARYLHURST U.! LEARN MORE>>

Do you think that Heroin production and distribution will be affected negatively when the USD collapses; or will the market simply shift to the East? Will 'The City' also be a target of retribution for this enslavement of the 1880's? I understand that if England was to be considered as a State in the CONUS, it would rank as the 49th poorest one, right now. I'm only asking because I have to keep my stable 'happy', you know. Pimps have 'business considerations' to attend to, and all.

huge win for labor!

Its also a win for good management. Every once in a

while someone  shows customers matter and

happy workers are productive.

This generation of management seems to have forgotten Deming.

My mother and father retired in Deming.

The Japanese hired Deming to teach them about methods of assembly-line production. The Japanese seemed to do fairly well with his managerial skills. The Toyoda family was the first blossom in the 'post-war' era, I believe. Datsun and Hitachi were right in line as well.

I am a shop manager.

Deming is a place where there are two seasons (HOT, and WINDY and HOT). Have you been there?

Of course, his ideas about the ability of 'management' and 'labor' to be both made happy weren't generally accepted. I guess the Japanese 'Zero-sen' production line (along with the leaking of information to the Reich) seemed to show otherwise; as far as his refusal of acceptence in THIS nation. A prophet is always rejected in his home town, or something.

"The teachings of Dr. Deming affected a quality revolution of gargantuan significance on American manufacturers and consumers. Through his ideas, product quality improved and, thus, popular satisfaction. His influential work in Japan--instructing top executives and engineers in quality management--was a driving force behind that nation's economic rise. Dr. Deming contributed directly to Japan's phenomenal export-led growth and its current technological leadership in automobiles, shipbuilding and electronics. The Union of Japanese Science and Engineering (JUSE) saluted its teacher with the institution of the annual Deming Prize for significant achievement in product quality and dependability. In 1960, the Emperor of Japan bestowed on Dr. Deming the Second Order Medal of the Sacred Treasure."

To think, he was a U.S. Census worker... AMAZING!
