Caption Contest: Putin's Crocodile Tears?

Tyler Durden's picture

Tears of joy (over getting his way on a cease-fire enabling him to push out his pressure until Winter comes) or tears of sorrow (over NATO's rhetoric)? You decide...

Sorrow, over Slavs killing each other, for an NWO agenda. He saw NWO/ America's dream for Russia first hand as NWO decimated his country with Yeltsin. I'm guessing he would deploy Nukes before letting these Elites into Russia again. Then the Bankers in Conneticut would get to watch the skin melt off their children's faces and have some concept of the consequences of their actions. Or they can just wait for Judgement Day.

Guess you have never seen a polonium cocktail up close, nor have you familiarized yourself with the 9/9 false flag that carried Putin to power. And doubtless inspired our own.

Putin is cold blooded as any of the Russians. Just that they can't hold a candle to the psychos he is up against. I think it high time we all sided with neither, quit owing these assholes. Nobody in America wants to go to war with Russia. The Russians sure as hell have nothing to gain. This isn't football. Just tell the fuckers we are not interested. We, the people, have better things to do with our lives than further your empire of bullshit.

Guess you have never seen a polonium cocktail up close

Guess you have never seen anything other than the western MSM narrative about the death of Alexander Litvinenko. Neither Litvinenko's father or brother think Putin had anything to do with it.

It looks more plausible that Litvinenko's death was the project of the Russian-Israeli mafia and criminal syndicates based in Britain, Ukraine, and Poland, and likely involved to some extent British intelligence and the CIA.

Wow, I have never seen a more convinced Putin fanboi.

If you hadn't been registered for that long, I'd suspect you of sitting in some Petersburg open plan office with some other 300 KGB affiliated English speaking employed working hard on media channels to convince the world what an angel Putin is. Allthough who knows, Putin thinks strategically, which means long term - which is so much easier for him to do, because his term in office doesn't end in 4 years as is a typical prerequisite for democratic control of power. He's yours (ours) for life.

For the life of me, I don't get it. I really don't.

Do I think the US or most of the West to be ideally democratic? No, of course not. Some come very close, such as Switzerland, others are not that far behind such as the Skandinavians, Austria, Netherlands and a few others. The US I rate as a below average representation of democracy, yet there are still some strong democratic elements present that make me believe not everything is lost. In contrast, Russia has lost absolutely every semblance of democracy. There is nothing left. Zilch. Russia's path to democracy was never going to be easy. The country is difficult to manage no doubt and a strong hand helps on many occasions, yet Putin is the driving force that destroyed any chance of democracy ever developing.

Being democratic doesn't necessarily mean being a plaything for Washington btw.

Democracy for me is still the ideal form of governance. It's the fairest, the one that offers me the most freedoms and opportunities, the one I feel safest in. Anyone supporting despots over his own democratically elected president (even if he didn't vote for him and the election process has some serious flaws), tells me one thing clearly: he prefers a different form of governance. Fine, its his right to believe so, yet I really don't understand how you could ever prefer something other than democracy.

My extended family nearly got wiped out because of Hitler. Despots become tyrants and the larger and strategically more important the country they rule, the more dangerous they become to the world. There is nothing appealing about despots. In addition, there should never ever be a justification for invading sovereign states either. Be it an illegitimate war in Iraq or an undeclared war in Ukraine.

Putin fanbois need to wake up.

One last thing, don't ever bang on about MSM propaganda (which is undeniably present to some extent), when you're clearly rooting for the guy that completely controls state media, has monoplised it, intimidated its journalists and in all likelihood even liquidated them when need be. RT is fun for shits and giggles and it can give you a new prespective and angle on things, but that's it. To assume it as gospel is to have fallen victim to Putin's game.

Schatzi -> US is suppose to be republic not democracy, check out the differences.  If WE had been able to keep that republic then maybe zerohedge may not exist at all.  America was overtaken by a fascist element, of which the USA has not seen the total result of yet, but is now coming soon.  However today everything is relative, when you see America sink in both moral and fiscal terms, and you see the BRICS nations rise in development, morallity and fiscal strength...you can conclude one thing....

We are moving in the WRONG DIRECTION.  And you look at those moving in the RIGHT DIRECTION with some respect.

Damned if that doesn't look just like John Boehner (pronounced 'bay-nohr' or 'boh-ner', NOT 'BONER')! Instead of the yellow flowers, I would envision an Obama (Coca-Cola-like) 'swoosh' button on his lapel.

The victims of atomic attacks are lost and forgotten (for the moment).

BONER hopes you will never be reminded. One of the earliest symptoms of nuclear radiation exposure is the loss of hair on the head (as observed by viewing the 'spectator').

A top Russian general and confidant to Vladimir Putin is calling for a change in strategy to include NUCLEAR PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKES (or so I have been led to believe).

BONER wanted to nuke Iran, and all those 'other' nations (that most American sheople couldn't find on a map even if their EBT benefits were at stake). HE STILL DOES (along with McCain, and such).

Is BONER an AIPAC asset (useful 'gentile' eater; A.K.A. 'meshuginah'), or is he simply a (fat-fucking bastard, pork-eating 'christian') 'PASTOR JOHN HAGEE' disciple?

Sociopaths are truly mad, WB.

Naw, dude, it's cool if you want to mock him. I mean, he's a public figure, so it goes with the territory. In fact, when he does something which merits mocking, I'll probably be as unmerciful as anyone.

It's just that the same old discredited bromides and canards (thug, polonium, head of KGB, hobgoblin, persecutes the gheys, stole a superbowl ring, the New Hitler®, freed Pussy Riot, wants to restore the USSR) get repeated ad nauseam.

To top it off, we're subjected to a flurry of birdbrains that probably get paid 4 Gryvnia for every anti-Putin comment, no matter how starved of sensibility it may be, and that's in addition to the usual handful of net.kooks that believe that the USSR is still alive and well and being run by Leonid Brezhnev's brain from an underwater moon base (yes, underwater).

So for those who feel compelled (or are paid) to spout anti-Putin jingoism, please renew your propaganda, bring something fresh to the table, at least entertain us. Thank you.

In answer to your question:

Yes.

OR,

No.

Here's a little RATT for you. Either you are too young, or too isolated, to see the irony in the avatar name, New-Moon. HELL, the poster probably doesn't get the irony either!

By the way, I watched this band at Grazzari's (on the Strip), before their first album was cut. They were best, overall, in terms of 'live performance' (in my opinion. 'Motley Crue' also played that night, and I thought that they sucked. Since Hollywoodland was sponsoring this original 'battle of the bands', Bill Grazzari chose the winners).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fG51nwQsfAA

I also saw 'Aldo Nova'. The meaning is Italian/Roman in origin, but it literally means 'Old New' in English (or; the merging of ancient technology with technology from the present).

Here's the IRGUN-sponsored version (you call this 'VEVO', I presume):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPQgfaB3S1c

SO: Am I WRONG or RIGHT (by your standard)?

I clipped this somewhere, please forgive me if it is yours

First they came for the White working class because they were the least powerful White group, their unions destroyed and their jobs shipped overseas. But I didn’t speak out because I was well-educated and had a good job and certainly didn’t want to identity with White working class culture and interests and their low class connotations - a favorite target of Hollywood for at least 50 years.

Then they came for the White conservatives. Their power decimated by the immigration invasion, they could do nothing as all traditional values were uprooted. From immigration destroying homogeneous White communities, to abortion, to gay marriage, conservatives have lost every social cause in the last 50 years. But I didn’t speak out because liberal values seemed enlightened and, as a liberal, I certainly didn’t feel threatened by these changes.

With their transformative majority in place, they will be free to come after the White liberals who will have no allies remaining. The liberals will be shocked when they realize that human nature is not what they were told over and over again by our intellectual and media elites. They will then realize that it"s really been about ethnic warfare all along and that ethnic warfare has very real winners and losers.

But by then it will be too late.

You're 100 years or more out of date, dummy.

From 1900 to now, the white percentage of world population has gone from 50% to less than 10%, and essentially *all* white homelands are now multiethnic and multicultural, thanks to a sellout by the old white elites, who used the machinery of the modern totalitarian state to disadvantage the descendants of the very people who created those states to protect them.

So yes, it is a brown man's world and, existing social capital aside, whites (and exceptionally so, poor whites) really don't get a break.

Hes in Mongolia signing major deals.

Eyes must be getting tired just looking at all those possible pipeline routes into China.

http://www.updatednews.ca/2014/09/03/putin-visits-mongolia-to-boost-trade-ties/

It is no coincidence that Putin’s visit and trade promises come just weeks after a state visit to Ulaanbaatar from Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“Russia and China both want to work closely with Mongolia since they are working together. Any cooperation needs to touch Mongolia in some way,” Dulbaa said.

http://famagusta-gazette.com/gazprom-cnpc-to-decide-on-gas-pipeline-to-china-via-mongolia-minister-p25236-69.htm

Thursday, 04 September, 2014Russia’s Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) will need to decide whether their gas pipeline will run through Mongolia or not, Russian Natural Resources and the Environment Minister Sergei Donskoi on Wednesday.

During his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj suggested building the pipeline across his country.

The mongolian's learnt a hard lesson from, and during the later part of the chinese civil war running simultaneously with wwii. The russian's helped them with some hesitation, because Stalin was a bit reluctant giving up the (some/ Stalin was treacherous to friend and foe alike) strategic geography with china. This all came into play years later regarding Russo-Sino relations. But, tyme heals all wounds and china and russia seem to be letting bygones be bygones?

Chiang Kai-shek treated the Mongolian's with contempt and actually favored the Japanese in Manchucho. It was Mao Zedong with the help of the Russian's ( Russia needed china's civil war prolonged or protracted as long as possible to keep Japan off its doorstep and their alignment with Germany). Stalin didn't care much for Mao nor Kai-shek but had to choose the best of two-evils? Ironic, isn't it! Stalin knew that if China's civil    (   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xi%27an_Incident   ) war continued it would be gratuitous for Russia once wwii had (VJ day 1945) ended. BTW, no one thought that PRC (Mao) would win so decidedly in (actually the civil war was really over in 1948 except for the mopping up) 1949 over the KMT.

So, imho, I believe that Mongolia tying the knot with Russia/China is a win-win for all three

As it turns out, Mongolia was in happy`ness heaven on oct/1945, gaining independence and appreciated the overwhelming support for Russia making it happen. As I've said previously, the Sino-Russo relations were awkward throughout all of Stalin's remaing years (Joeseph dies mar. 5, 1953). Note: Mao didn't trust Stalin because of China's autonomous regions in the NE... that being Xinjiang, Gansu, and the prize (?India/ China?) Tibet?,... a valuable bargaining chip in the future with India.

The gas deal is interesting. The 'price' is irrelevant...how so?

Consider that currency is just a medium of exchange. It's value/price changes daily. Any central banker can do that.

Since the deal was not for oil in terms of gold (that we know of) then the real agreement was simply to sell oil in exchange for other stuff. If oil becomes more valuable they'll negotiate for more stuff.

I am certain the price was not fixed in dollar terms. No one expects the dollar to be around when that pipeline is finished.

China and Canada are quiety attempting making a deal as I speak. It is suspected that the Keystone fiasco may be the reason why or may play a role in this. However, the china pipeline will be the winner, BUT, if it traverses through Xinjiang, those darn muslim rebels (read ours) will create problems. That is why ISIS purportedly made the statement regarding Putin and Chechnya.

A problem is and will be that many Kiev units are basically gangs armed with heavy weapons who obey no-one.

Another is that the US does not want it to stop so the likelyhood of CIA funds flowing to real thug gangs must be high.

Not that I don't admire Putin, but he is merely following in the 1000+ year Rus tradition of pushing against the powers to the west when they are weak.

Russia doesn't have a natural land border to the west, so the border is whatever you can make it.

Honestly, in a few years, which city do you think will be more habitable; Moscow, or Londistan?

"If real, this worries me a little bit. I have yet to meet a patriotic person I would call sane. They all seem to be nutters like John McCain."

That's because you don't know patriotism, since it doesn't exist in America. The country is too young to have any history, any real roots. It was a place where immigrants from all over Europe poured in to make a living and maybe even get rich in a new land - ties severed with the past, no real loyalty to the new country, a life and hopefully a fortune to build in unknown territory, without looking backwards.

All you have is nationalism, which is a kind of artificial bonding that connects you not the land or its people, but to the Constitution, the Founding Fathers imagery, the discoveries made on American soil, the money to be made by free trade (ok, that was before), gun-owning rights, freedom of action rights, etc. Consider America's motto: "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness". Where do you see an attachment to the land, to its history, to its people? Russia has a history that began a thousand years BC, when the Slavs settled in the Volga and Dnieper regions. Add to that Russia had to resist numerous invasions, which tightly bonds the population around a common history of resistance to oppression. None of that exists in America. Europeans can see how vastly different American nationalism is to what we, Europeans, call patriotism.

And you're right to distrust the so-called "patriots" of America. Their only point is that somehow, they're superior to everybody else; therefore, they feel entitled to exert power and bark orders on all and sundry. That's no patriotism, that's imperialism on an individual basis.

"Our young country beat yours to the moon, and whipped your commie ass in the Cold War, and you're still defensive."

Why do you think we gave a hoot about going to the moon? What good did it bring you? You see what I said? America's "patriotism" is only about  pissing contests, even if they are totally useless.

On top, you call me a commie without having the faintest idea about my political views. I'm not even Russian, but you "assumed". Like you assume "Russians are all commies" (which they haven't been since 1991). Do you understand all this makes you pass for a moron?

I repost what I said in my previous comment "Their only point is that somehow, they're superior to everybody else; therefore, they feel entitled to exert power and bark orders on all and sundry. That's no patriotism, that's imperialism on an individual basis."

The warmongering political slimeballs in Washington, Westminster, EU, NATO and other assorted Western capitals have taken control of the MSM narrative about the Ukraine.

MSM now chooses to ignore that the revolution there to overthrow Yanushenko was orchestrated by the West and "our man" - a fascist nutter who promised to quell dissent with the military - was parachuted in to take his place.

That was always going to anger Putin since he will not tolerate more NATO bases on his borders in the same way that Washington would not tolerate Russian bases along its borders with Mexico. And large numbers of people in East Ukie are of Russian origin and speak Russian.

We can be sure that if Russia really had invaded East Ukie as the West and MSM keep claiming day-in and day-out, photos of Russian columns of tanks, APCs, artillery and soldiers would be all over MSM. Instead of that, we are treated to plastic toy tanks lined up and photographed to make them look like satellite images of invading columns and an endless stream of carefully worded allegations by the likes of Obama and comments from the empty suit Cameron like "what Russia is doing in Ukraine is indefensible and it must stop".

Well Mr Cameron, "exactly what is Russia doing in Ukraine? Spell it out. And please provide credible evidence."

A cease-fire is only the first step. At this point Putin holds all the cards, this will become more obvious as winter nears and events unfold.  It seems both Russia and many of the separatist in Eastern Ukraine would support federalization. Surely, no reason exist for Kiev to be opposed other than a loss of power. A more federalized government is also the most plausible way of keeping Ukraine intact.

Support for sanctions is mixed in Europe as some countries fear Russia and have an ax to grind with Putin while others wish to move forward. Saber rattling has only lead to death and destruction.  As I see it little good will come from further bloodshed and it is time for the West to stop sending money to Kiev so they can ramp up the violence and continue the civil war. More on the progress being made in the article below.
