Edit: When you consider all these developments in concert - the inversion and obfuscation of our common ethos, and policy making that make no sense for the long term sustainability of America, its hard not to come to the conclusion that our country is being purposefully driven to an inferior and undesirable reality.
The anti-white campaign started with Nixon and his tribe lawyers at the justice department. By 1978 there were quotas for white guys in the military. There was a double standard for white guys for testing, discipline, and promotions. Reagan never changed it. If you were a white male once your quota was meet you were eliminated from all the good jobs. It got ridiculous with minority pilots crashing and killing themselves and others for awhile there.
I remember in 1983 at the University of South Florida in Tampa being told by the financial aid office I was the “wrong color” to receive financial aid. The place was suffocating with the fascism dripping out of every office and classroom.
The discrimination back then was much more overt, it just never hit the middle and upper middle classes until recently, by design so as to make it appear whites were still in control. It was hidden well but the lower class whites suffered the full brunt of discrimination. Frankly the middle and upper classes, if they noticed, did not lift a finger to help. Finally decades later they are getting a whiff of that shit storm coming their way.
I think everyone pretty much has caught onto the tribe’s bull shit and Texas is ready to spring loose when the fiat dies and charge the bastards gold for oil. The sooner the breakup of the USA the sooner we can get back to living like civilized people. This tribe shit has gone on long enough.
This isn't some campaign against whites.
Participation rates have been sinking dramatically since the 70s as we all know, and the disproportionate difference comes from two things:
unemployment and poverty is less restricted to minorities only as white males enjoyed preferred employment treatment in a heavily race and gender discriminatory environment of the 60s and more importantly, that white males are part of a general socio economic evolution. In the 60s they where the exclusive breadwinners of the middle classes, but with gender equality many women have overtaken their male counterparts and become the primary breadwinners, creating stay at home dads with kids.
But somehow you guys will blame it all on Obama.

In the last 20 years the USA has conducted the greatest transfer of wealth of the history of mankind from the USA to the rest of the world, mainly China, India and the EU.
The goal has been to minimize the probability of a RED WATERS scenario for the transition to expensive energy and maximize the probability of a BLUE WATER scenario.
The idea was that this wealth transfer would enable the creation of a world order run by the "civilized" Countries of the world (read: Italy, Germany, France, Japan, UK, USA, Russia) as defined by those same "civilized" Countries. And that world order would enable the preemption of WWIII and the destruction of human kind as we know it.
We sadly, like in any attempt of controlling a chaotic system (mathematical chaos) through central planning, the system has a way to slip out of control, thus the situation we now face.

Employment is a function of the desire to work and produce and opportunity. However, there is no exclusion from opportunity. Produce your own goods and services. Create a market for them. Black markets, cash markets, bitcoin markets. If you want to work for the state-corporation axis, then be prepared for any selectivity they care to pronounce.
The real complaint here should be squarely placed where it belongs: Elite control of the legal/financial levers of production of goods and services. We are the cogs! The machinery doesn't turn without the cogs!
As it presently exists, there is no need for the State or Law or Currency. Perhaps a social compact could be created that is useful, but it has yet to happen in human history. We can remain slaves (all colors) or try something new.
It will not happen by fighting amongst ourselves. It will not happen by putting people in power over us, to make decisions for us, determining our live's quality. It will not come from systems of law or technology.
It will be the result of a love of liberty, the treasure that is tolerance, the hard work of personal responsibility, the charity that cares for the less fortunate and the understanding a human's potential lies not in slavery but in possibility and dreams made reality through the hard work and practical application of all our talents. The Y axis has been cut off at the bottom, with the starting point chosen so as to make the numbers look as dramatic as possible, from upper left straight down to lower right.
A drop of 16 percentage points is still very significant, but this presentation makes it look like a ~100% drop. That's not fair play.

Ironic to see the children of immigrants become so intolerant of immigrants. To be fair, your dissatisfaction with immigration deserves more that just a flippant "well you're a nation of immigrants". It made me think and I believe the core issue lies somewhere else. Immigration 100 years ago had little direct impact on the lives of others. Why? Because government participation in economic activity was at a minimum. Today it is as at record highs. Government decisions impact the economy more than they ever did. High taxes, social welware, healthcare etc. All these government activities affect our pocket directly. 100 years ago people come to your country to build their own lives under the premise of doing it themselves. Now I assume many come immediatly expecting services paid for by others. Which is fine as long as there isn't systemic abuse of that generosity and a willingness to contribute themselves. Pure welfare immigration is system abuse and will eventually backfire. Those that genuinely come to achieve a better life through their own hard work, will find a more hostile environment in the future.
The population of our country was founded on immigration. So what? That is no excuse to continue an open door, non-enforced immigration policy going forward, especially when you consider the fiscal situation america is now in. We need to take care of our own, NOW. At such time when we can afford it, let some measure of immigrants in again.

I personally know of filipino women who get pregnant, travel to the u.s. while six months pregnant, give birth there and go home bragging about how their child is a u.s. citizen. The chinese also are experts at working the system. To these people, their children will never understand what being american really is nor have true loyalty to the country. Several years ago, 9/11 timeframe, I came across several apartment buildings located pretty much in the middle of nowhere a few miles outside of Stockholm. The only people I saw in the area were very black and also very tall. Not sure where they were from. Also, in and around Stockholm there are a fair number of "black folk" though nothing like here. Did notice that they seemed to be more prevalant after dark.

Compare your experience to mine when I was an exchange student to Sweden way back in 79' to 80'. Only bumped into on black guy the entire time and he was a exchange student from Nigeria. I know of a lot of people that not only giving birth in the US (anchor babies) but liquidating all their assets and moving them to their native countries; meanwhile, living partime in the USA recieving social security, medicare, medicaid, EBT, housing and some cash for entertainment.

So, as women were paid less than men, they took over a lot of the jobs and then it became a system where children were left alone after school and a whole new set of problems arrived. And, as time went on the prices of living cost more and more and now it is tough for a family with two breadwinners to make it. So, it is not Obamas fault obviously but for the past 30 years the white man has been preyed upon ...in ads, they show good looking white women and good looking black men and then they push the white male into a subserviant role...usually bald, overweight and stupid. TV ads show white women berrating their husbands for being dolts. The magazines are now loaded with blacks and women....totally out of proportion to the statistical elements of our population. So the physcological put down of white men have really ended up building anger amongst the community.. male and female alike. It will be interesting to see how this social problem plays out over the next generation.

Why would I feel enlightened? Your comment fails to address employment in the 25-40 age group. It fails to address the growth in female employment. It fails to consider that a percentage will fall if the particular group represents a smaller part of the population as a whole.

I will also say this.
There were a lot of white boys 18 to 25 and a lot of whites and blacks who experienced life in war during Viet Nam and came to appreciate each other as men and not just black and white. What happened to those 18 to 25 year olds who saw Kennedy and MLK assassinated? What happened to all that good will and determination to make a better America?
I dont have the answers, but I will take a guess that they are now old or in the grave? The hope for change dissipated, the endless blame and the constant refrain of racism, wears heavy. The weight of "blame racism" can be carried so long before it is rejected by those that carry it.
There have been many opportunities lost to make a better America. Many whites have given up trying to be allies in the healing. The new problem in America is not white racism. As Black citizens will find out, it will be when the Hispanic population reaches over 30% within one generation, blacks and whites, will become even more disenfranchised in the land of their birth.

My neighbor ( sheriff in San Diego) just retired at the insistence of his wife. He had told me long ago he was going to retire on 97% salary. I thought that was overly generous. When his wife told me her reasons for pushing his retirement ( I was tired of him making $3/ hr) I was a tad pissed off.

Long Island, the average cop is pulling in 150K/yr, PLUS benefits. I live in a nice town and the biggest houses on the block are all owned by cops or retired teachers, who spend most of their time in the driveways working on their custom $250K corvettes. Just sayin'.

Look to the hard occupations, where technical ability, credentials, accreditations, licensing and money making ability by ringing the cash register, are required. I respect any woman or minority who can cut it. Also look to the soft occupations, where malleability, and double speak are the order of the day.
There you will find the greatest concentration of Female Liberal Arts grads in management positions. It is the corporate repository for Affirmative Action hires. Very definable and present in most corporations.
In my experience it has been exactly the opposite. The company I was formerly employed at was loaded up with middle managers who were belicose Type-A's and who didn't know shit about what they were actually doing, who thought that abusing people and running off good workers was leadership, and who typically ran their departments into the ground within a year or two. Until I saw such incompetence in action, I never would have imagined the possibility of it.
As a result of this and other structural deficiencies in their management philosophy, there is now absolutely no one in their promotion pool, and key positions are going unfilled in spite of the fact that many millions of people are without a job today. The long and the short of it is that nobody wants to work there. I coined a little phrase when discussing this situation with others: "It's not just an HR problem, it's a demographic problem," I say. The company has now reached a point of no return where there is simply no way that they can hire enough qualified people quickly enough to reverse their inevitable decline. Watching these lowlifes destroy a once profitable and respected company with strong local ties has been both heartbreaking and alarming.

What I'm seeing, and living, on a daily basis is something along the following lines:
We have an IT project. We assign a high level project manager who is female and knows nothing about IT; but she's agreed to forsake her traditional responsibilities to her family in return for money and promotion. She was chosen for her willingness to do anything - no matter what.
She knows deep down that she needs an alpha male to actually deliver results. She finds one and puts up with his independent and impudent streak only because she knows she cannot succeed without him.
He is assigned a team of developers. He gets two white guys that actually do the work, stay late, work from home, work over holidays and actually solve the problems and make shit happen.
He gets two Indians who are in night school getting a useless MBA - they are unavailable after hours to solve problems because they are advancing their careers and building political alliances and padding their resumes.
He gets a token black guy, who he's forced to assign only the simplest of tasks to so he can then give a favorable review to his female boss. The women love to "prove" that blacks can actually write code.
He gets a divorced female who is never required to travel, never required to work late and never required to be on conference calls at 2AM because being a single mother - she's special.
She then gets to strut around proclaiming how she does everything the men do.
So for every ten people with a job - the actual work is done by a select few - and yeah - they're white guys. And we're getting real sick of it.

One gig I had at Megabank, the "team" for all our virtual meetings was over 20 people, *I* was the only one, y'know, writing code. There were maybe three others of the 20+ born in the US, the PM was (of course) a woman. The "manager" was an H-1B didn't know his ass from grass, and the 200+ group manager was a white American male and all, but he was invisible, had no actual involvement with anything that I could see, and repeatedly forgot to attend big group meetings that he called.
analyst & coders (problem solvers with high analytical skills but not enough blahblah skills ie "i wear a tie and i make wind with my mouth using words such as web 2.0 or now 3.0 so i am the best project manager ever") are the slaves of the 21st century.
nothing would happen without us, yet we get paid like shit, most often on contract basis, never get descent or well thought specs so we are to do their project manager job as a free consultancy & then are expected to work weekend so to reach deadlines they could not meet for their parts but we have to, and of course while they are away in some 5* with their mistress.
