Martin Armstrong Warns "Spain Is Moving Towards Civil War"

Spain-Militarizing

The Spanish government is militarizing gearing up for violent protests against the EU that are expected to turn up before a hot autumn. Spain is now equipping the police with about one billion million euros with new combat equipment. Violent protests in Spain since the crisis began almost a daily occurrence. Movements such as 25 de Mayo or the Indignados call Spaniards of all strata of the population to protest against the government on the streets. The police will always respond violently. They cover up their brutal responses by banning any video of police beatings making it a crime in itself. This is certainly illustrating the loss of freedom and any democratic process within Europe. The police scandals have only charged the atmosphere within the population and we may see this erupt into civil war as we move forward.

goya civil war

Goya’s painting of the brutal treatment of citizens during the The Third Of May 1808 is a reminder of what we could face in the aftermath of the militarization of Spain against its own citizens.

Since June, the Spanish Interior Ministry has signed four contracts for the purchase of protective vests, shields and other riot gear. These weapon purchases are causing many to relive very bad memories in Spain. Spain has also bought water canons, a weapon that by the end of the Franco dictatorship was in continuous use. Opposition leader Antonio Trevin called the purchase therefore “a return to the times we would rather forget.” The Interior Ministry has responded merely justifying their rearming as necessary “because of the current social dynamics”, reports the Guardian.

The protests are mainly directed against the always new austerity measures, tax increases, the extremely high youth unemployment, homelessness following the bursting of the housing bubble, and also against a restrictive policy such as the recent bill to ban abortions. Then there is the movement to establish a referenda for the abolition of the monarchy.

Then throw in the separatist movement as we see in Scotland where the Catalans are moving for their independence. There were protests against the recent visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel that had to be violently dispersed by the government.

Spain is moving toward civil war.

Even the human rights organization Amnesty International has expressed concern over the arming of the police. the police are there to protect the government – not the people. That is a dangerous position that sets the stage for civil war.

Ron Paul was interviewed on a Brazilian TV show and is was the young crowd and very in depth. I can say our little Ron Paul Internet movement has not at all been a waste. I would guess many of these protestors are starting to embrace Libertarian ideals and no so much the Marxist ideals they normally might. We may just have a global Libertarian Revolution on our hands as the good Doctors has enlightened many that its not really capitalism that's bad, by the croney kind.

"deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed"

The consent of the governed is the consent of those wired to be governed.

Why should those who are opposed to government be forced to obey a few genes that the consenters possess. Government is an adaptation that at one time promoted the survival of people.

Now they are burdened by it.

"An organism is a collection of problem solving devices - adaptations - that were shaped by natural selection over evolutionary time to promote, in some specific way, the survival of the genes that directed their construction."
- D. Symons

Again, why are people who wish to be free made slaves to some throwback's genes?

IMO, no convention needed.  The people need to use inalienable rights and trust law (government is a trust and owes a fiduciary duty to the people) and learn enough law to use the courts without an attorney.  These treasonists sacks of shit can be held liable, but a lawyer has too much to loose by doing it.  Lawyers make money from controversy of rights, but what they wont tell you is, government has no rights, only limited power and limited authority.  They will allow administrative rules and process against you, that are not applicable to your rights.  "Woe unto ye lawyers" Its been going on for a while.

"So what's the ideology driving this new revolution?"

Harbanger, revolutions do not usually start with ideologies, but with plain discontent. The frustration of the population builds up and up over years. Then a spark, a catalyst, can come at any time and boom!

Nobody can foretell what this catalyst event will be. The only thing observers can do is see the discontent grow and wait for the spark. It can take years, months, days... who knows what or when.

After the revolution, there's always a period of chaos. Then, the reconstruction period begins, usually with one ot various leaders born of the very turmoil. That's the way it's worked in most cases. No ideology save a need for change, getting rid of corruption and yes, a fairer society. Injustice is the primary fuel of revolutions.

Funny, all the revolutions I'm aware of over the last century have been bankster proxy wars. I can't think of a single revolution that focused on the central banks, instead being funded by them.

Long story short, war cannot eradicate evil because war is evil personified. The only way to defeat evil via war is by an even larger evil.

ThirdWorldDude

So Dude,

See if this ‘limited worldview’ is better.

US is a Corporatocracy (corporations and banks run by the Power Elite) and that the President is the manager.

Corporatocracy = Weak national parties and strong political representation of individual districts, large U.S. military establishment, big corporate money financing election campaigns, and globalization tilting the balance away from workers. — Jeffrey Sachs

Coup d'état = Overthrown on an elected government by these Power Elites.

In Conclusion

1) The Coup d’état, initiated and paid by these Power Elites to take control of these nations at the expense of their domestic population; which then leads to Social Revolutions, where workers fight to own and control their means of production and workplace.

2) The abuse of the English language, especially by some of the commentators at this site, I feel like tilting at wind mills.

And many here wonder why the American population doesn’t understand what is happening.

Fri, 09/12/2014 - 06:20 | 5209868 ThirdWorldDude
ThirdWorldDude's picture

You wrote much and said nothing, only proved that your worldview is "ass up".

1. Check your definition of Corporatocracy ("corporations and banks run by the Power Elite"; Jeffrey Sachs' one comes a bit warmer, though);

2. Coup d'etat doesn't necessarily coincide with Revolution (as shown by Berlusconi's removal and before that, the Austrian coup of 2000), instead facts show the opposite: Elites use propaganda means to provoke proles to incite turmoil/revolution which is later used as an excuse/cover to commit the coup, aka ordo ab chao or problem-reaction-solution... As evidenced in Iran '79, Ukraine '04-'13, Libya '11, Egypt '12 as well as AIPAC/CFR/Al-Cia-Duh fruitless plans for the outcome of the revolution/civil war in Syria '11-present.

But my point was and remains that banksters who own "The Free World" organize, fund and incite revolutions through proxies all over the globe in order to install their own puppets.

Fri, 09/12/2014 - 07:25 | 5209914 Escrava Isaura
Escrava Isaura's picture

So, if the banksters can't own the people, who will? Their bosses?

Or, should the people that build, own? Then, hire the managers.

So, we live in a corporatocracy, underpinned by cheap oil, disguised by lots of financial innovation that will never be paid back (living beyond ones means), while having the young indoctrinated by our education system.

Then, the sheeple (adults) having the mirage these things are all in order. That, because we live in a Republic, once these institutions are disbanded, things will get better?

Do you really believe that?

Chupacabra-322,

America is a violent and divided society, so Civil War might be easier to market, to grasp, than revolution.

Revolution usually starts with the youth. Anyway, as long as there are some benefits, such as food stamps, some jobs, NO revolutions. The main problem (the fuel), within the US, is its standard of living that is way too high compared to other nations and, to what is produced in America. Good luck tell that to the Americans.

Societal Collapse = Decline of the systems

Anyway, as I wrote before: I believe with every fiber of my being that our collapse will be a consequence of multiple failures.

I beg to differ slightly. There has been an incremental decrease in the standard of living for the last 30 years. The unemployment rate, 40 plus million Americans on food stamps, outsourcing of jobs, debt, endless wars, crumbling infrastructure, open Criminality at the highest levels & most importantly a lack of morality are the Cancers which have engulfed the Host.

This Criminal Empire based on Fraud is fast heading towards Social, Economic & Political Collapse.

The apathy, indoctrination & Cognative Dissonance coupled with endless money printing is what's fueling the current facade.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if one of these modern "democracies" actually did what the people in their country wanted? Yes; it would. If 1.8M people show up for a "fuck the EU" rally, we know there are another 3M who have the same desire but not enough time, energy, courage, etc. to show up. but the "leaders" order up more ammunition for the paid thugs that enforce the rulers dictates instead of doing what the people want. Why is this the case? Because the "leaders", as a class, occupy very desirable positions, and are easily bought; and there's not one patriot amongst them, anywhere; in Spain, in the US, in the UK, in Germany. Just a ruling class that's bought and paid for, and black-mailed with NSA intercepts. Wouldn't it be great if the Spanish govt. just said; ok. The EU was an interesting experiment, but the people don't want it, and this is a democracy, so goodbye and good luck EU. Wouldn't it be nice if the German People had a chance to vote in a popular referendum on the Euro versus the D-Mark; which chance they were never given. Democracy seems like a way to avoid serious problems; I think we should try it some day.

The was a Russian dude (Panarin) who said the same thing.  Can't recall the timing - but I think he missed it pretty good (too soon).

Shit like this falls into context that "there are decades where nothing happens and there are weeks where decades happen."

I could easily see things falling apart and new alliances being made more on a state to state basis - regional over national.  Sooner or later state politicis/budgets/etc. are going to cross federal ones in some nasty way and the fight will be on.

And what follows?  Unicorns, rainbows and lollypops?  Not likely.  History shows that the most organized, armed and violent group takes charge.

What kind of person takes control of that type of group?  Mother Theresa?  After the French Revolution, France got Napolean-the Hitler of his time.  Russia got Lenin, Stalin, etc.  Cambodia got Pol Pot.  China got Mao and his 60M dead.

That doesn't seem like an upgrade, so be careful what you wish for...

Just remember...in revolution a lot of old scores are often settled by using the mob to take care of foes and the biggest 'foe' it turns out is the guy to whom you owe money.

Doctors and 'sophisticated' citizens (you know, stuck up people who have good teeth and wear glasses and certainly anyone with an education) are often eliminated. It helps the 'revolutionary' if there is no one with a brain to challenge him. Think Fidel Castro..I remember the televised firing squads. The crime of the prisoner?..being wealthy...Fidel hated that, his good bud Che hated it even more.

The time for the populations of human slaves (AKA "citizens") to fight back against the predators-that-be and predator-class was long ago.  Now it will be more difficult.

All predators-DBA-governments, everywhere on the planet, must be eliminated if humans are to survive as anything more than abject slaves.  Those who fight back will find they are successful if... and only if... they fight smart and efficient, not when they fight when ruled by emotion (and therefore easily predicted by the predators-that-be and their paid predator-thugs).

You wrote: "they fight smart and efficient, not when they fight when ruled by emotion....

Girlfriend, this might help:

30 percent of U.S. adults are now considered obese.

One-third of teenagers are now believed to be incapable of passing a treadmill test.

Some 32 million Americans now in this group, the Army deems the vast majority too obese, too uneducated, too flawed in some way, according to its estimates for the current budget year.

I wonder where you would fit on that?

I am 5' 5" and 105 pounds.

However, while I may look like I'm in great shape, I'm actually a bit of a physical wimp (not very strong).  However, part of my point was say being smart makes a huge difference.  Consider all those strong, brave, manly-men who operate drone controls in the USSA to kill people thousands of miles away.  Probably the most effective means for local actions are sniper rifles from a long distance, or binoculars and push buttons attached to explosive devices far away by radio control.

Nonetheless, fighting isn't my personal choice.  I left the USSA about 3 years ago, live in the extreme boonies in my simple but comfortable little self-sufficient digs, and work on a better solution to the insanity of human beings.

honestann,

About you last paragraph I’ll say this: You’re way ahead of time, compared to most of us.

It’s obvious that America is all-in in Ukraine and now, Syria. That means Putin might be right about a war in Europe this winter.

It looks like Russia will be financially crippled while fighting those two fronts. And perhaps Poland, as well.

China is the wild card.

I think the outcome will be: Putin folds.

US and Europe saved, for another 5/10 years.

This is a fine line, of nuclear disaster, that humanity will be facing.

Because US won’t back down, because it can’t.

If humans would just fight the predators in their own fictitious nation, life on earth would become dramatically better.  Fighting people you don't even know in other fictitious nations is just stupid.

Eliminate the predators preying on you, not some random fools you don't even know.  Sheesh are humans ever stupid.  Let Spaniards hang their own predators-DBA-government, and ditto for everyone else.
