I have watched some of these videos and what strikes me is how placid the victims are, if they truly believed they were going to be beheaded then I would expect them to be a bit more agitated than they are. I also suspect these acts took place at the same time, all the hostages might already be dead. Isis can then voice up the videos to suit the message as and when they need.

Nice cherry picking. Though, some of the verses are taken out of context (in 8:12 for example it is the angels not the believers who are instructed). The Quran continuously states that disbelievers and wrongdoers will be punished harshly by god in a fiery hell, but there are multiple verses encouraging muslims to be tolerant and non-agressive towards those who seek reconciliation and peace, regardless of what they must believe, as it is god who will ultimately punish disbelievers.
And do not forget that similar verses are found all over the bible as well as various other religious texts.

Nmwen I've watched all those videos, there are a few things I find questioning.
All of the videos that appear to be as real as day are of poor quality. And when they are beheading them, the person is on their stomach or back.
These videos appear to show them on their knees at first when they 'behead' them.
The quality is a difference, and the fact that they shows the beheading for obvious reasons yet these ones they cut out.
Video posting centers are also quick to remove videos that are 'messages' from IS, yet all the poor quality, true beheading videos are still on the internet.
Seems to me they are trying to prevent people from watching the "message" videos (Could be considered terrorism) to prevent any doubt. To fuel their agenda maybe? Yet the real videos they don't do anything about.
I haven't found a video of the full killing that isn't posted on another news agency where it's been cut out.
