This Is What Happens When The 'Unrigged' Market Breaks
It appears Rule 575 is having an impact today. Quietly this morning, CBOE traders were told at 1027ET that the S&P 500 index was "currently unavailable for trading." As the following chart shows, this halted a drop in the market and instantly enabled a levitation to near the day's highs. Unrigged?

This tactic seems to work on a small scale, but will it work when the entire Dow, NAS, etc. is halted?
One thing's for certain, it ain't broke, it's fixed.
did the fed just put in a bottom? sending a message that shorts will be punished as antifedites? they have to inflate their way out of this. they just said they are ready to deploy the cash drop. they may have finally realized money floats to the top. it doesn't trickle down anything but the tops of your heads.
I think the message here is that for anyone who still wishes to trade, you should only buy with money you make from selling something else. And your broker's commissions should also come from those sales too.
Sell some puts. In order to screw you, they have to make the prices go down.
But given that they don't play fair, I don't think even that will work.
It'll keep going up till the muppets are fully invested in it going up.
