Well, did you think I was kidding? No, it is a true story in most regards. I know this much, my little three year old asked me if he could have his excavator toy back. I was not sure what that meant so I asked more about it to Mrs. M and she said the Somali kids never bring toys to the park but always take them if you leave them unguarded. Is there a lesson to be learned there? I think so but even more so by me.
I have taught my young son to cuss and usually he won't around me. He usually saves that for when he with his mother. He had something to say to me earlier tonight but I was not fully understanding it. Little kids like that say lots of things so you never know but he talked a black kid digging a hole in the park. I asked if it what really him who dug the him and said no. He said, "No it black kid and fucking bullshit". I laughed and said it is all OK.
Well, it just came up again, some Somalian kid stole my kids toys and that is not OK. I have seen this happen before in North Minneapolis with my daughter but I caught them that time. It had to ask Mr's M what was going on and she said that see it going on but that is very common for the Somalian black kids to steal the toys of the white kids. Seriously this just happened today. What ever happeend to kids of all colors just playing together at such a young age?
My kids have toys that we buy at the second hand child store and I wouldn't think twice about sharing those toys and that it what I teach my children to do. You kids can all play together. So what do you get for that? They fucking rip your three old off. This is too many examples of a major cultural difference out of both African-Americans and these Somalians over the years. I am trying to be very diplomatic on what I said there.
At the same time, which will always be the same time, it really is time to tell some people to fuck off. This is outrageous and it is not just black people. The only difference really is how the theft happens. These other people, Somalians in this case, are not understanding what the fuck is up. You understanding what I am saying? I think I have my next challenge.

I don't agree with you on aspects of this issue, but isn't it interesting that the beheadings were a call to action for Team Obama, but nearly 200,000 dead people, including thousands of children. Dying from sarin gas exposure is not a fun way to go, arguably more unpleasant than being decapitated. Yet, the President didn't seem too bothered to intervene then. What's the difference? HE is paying a political price for the perceptions of inaction in this instance.
Our Republic may endure for another millennia or more, and we won't have a more selfish, narcissistic President than we do today.

There's a primitive, B&W video of the show on DVD which I've always wanted to partially colorize (splotches fading in and out so they look like stage lights) and then marry it up with the excellent audio on the CD releases.
He really didn't get along with Buddy Miles who was into promoting black power etc and thought Hendrix was not down with the brothers. And Buddy Miles had his own musical agenda. The bass player Billy Cox played with Hendric for many years after they met in the Army. He played with Mitch Mitchell on the Cry of Love album. I love that album.
