Was Scottish Vote Rigging Caught On Tape?

Tyler Durden's picture

Given the pre-vote polls and 300 years of historical resentment, many were somewhat surprised at the overwhelming "No" vote in last night's Scottish Independence referendum. While we now know that the vote broke very cleanly between old ("no") and young ("yes") Scots, the following clip suggests the possibility that more was afoot than that. As the commentator blasts, "Busted! Absolutely busted!" You decide...

As Martin Armstrong rages, Is anything real anymore...

I have communicated directly with some Scots. I spoke to an 18 year segment to get a perspective of the youth. They used the word that they wanted a “REVOLUTION” and feel very betrayed by what they called the over “65″ crowd. This is what our model has been warning about and why this is important. Unfunded liabilities are around the global as populations enter the retirement age of the baby-boomers worldwide – post-World War II surge in births. The birth rate and marriage rate has been declining, efforts are building around the globe to encourage women to have children. In Britain, the NHS is funding a sperm bank for lesbians.Just for starters, Germany, Japan, Russia, and Taiwan are paying women to have children and the list keeps going. Why? What happened to over population? The older generation is dying off and the social programs are gauging the younger generation causing taxation to rise and the youth cannot find work.

Camerob-9-19-2014

David Cameron basically said reading between the lines – the younger generation lost and their fate is now settled “for a generation.” This degree of arrogance is not going to be helpful. Governments will not reform and that brings us only to the bring of our right civil unrest that will rip the systems apart. No one in charge will address the long-term. They are only concerned about one vote at a time.

Now the recriminations. There is a rising tide among the YES camp that view the Scottish vote was rigged. There are videos and photographs emerging calling the votes rigged. There is special focus on Dundee where photos are circulating on Twitter and Facebook demonstrating the rigging of the election. The polling stations also accused were directly in Edinburgh. This will be like Bush stealing the election in the USA and it will linger causing tremendous resentment in Britain. The whole of Europe needed the Scottish NO vote. Since Brussels rigged the Italian elections, we cannot rule out their involvement behind the scenes yet in Scotland. This has led to so many in Scotland feeling they have been cheated and reduced to second class slaves of London and Brussels.

Crisis-Democracy

International Business Times is reporting the uproar. We all have to be deeply concern given the fact that in Europe, the Commission is a dictatorship. The people can vote for a minister to be in Brussels, but the Commission does not have to abide by whatever the people want anyway. What must be understood is this is now about maintaining Brussels. They are paying themselves outrageous amounts of money for absolutely nothing. Just one EU Commissioner will get €400,000 for not working as reported by the Telegraph.

European-Parliament

The EU Commission was threatened by Scotland because if they won their independence, the contagion would have engulfed all of Europe and that would cost jobs in Brussels. This is not about what is good for Europe, it is what is now good for the politicians to keep their huge salaries.

Europe-Separatist Movement

The most interesting evidence of DISTRUST is the capital movement. One would expect the Euro and the pound to rally with the threat of separatism dead. Instead, The pound rallied moderately but not the Euro. Capital is clearly aware that the game is still afoot.

Vote rigging?  Probably.  There was a lot on the line.  Who plays fair with tens of billions on the line?  Here in the US, we monitor your elections while we rig our own.

On the other hand, the 2012 election in which Vlad took the prize had the following numbers among the candidates:

63.6% 17.2% 8.0%

6.2% 3.9%.

I'm sure that one was on the up and up.

I do, but you can't expect everyone to read all past ZH messages.  I certainly don't.

Nonetheless, while I am now pretty much completely extracted from "the system", there is no way I can be sure some human predator won't find me, then attempt to "take me out" somehow.  But, when has any human been entirely free of risk from predators, human or otherwise?  Never.  Hell, even tiny microorganisms can take us out.

Of course, most people take my statements backwards, since they don't realize I created my own little self-sufficient hide-out 125km from the nearest human being, one that cannot be accessed by land vehicle.  Since they assume I live in a normal community somewhere, many of them imagine I mean to "disobey, then fight it out" when the predators-DBA-government come to capture, enslave and punish us.  They don't realize I favor the exact opposite approach, namely "hide and evade", or what some folks call "shrug".

If a sufficient number of folks would get "fed up", they could fight it out and win.  Sadly, it appears the number of folks who understand the relevant issues well enough, and are willing to exterminate the predators... is vanishingly tiny, and therefore not a practical option (except as a means of suicide).

You mistake my intentions... and actions.  While there is nothing whatsoever unethical about aggressive self-defense against predators of any species, that is not the only strategy to deal with them.  For example, one can also evade predators, both human and otherwise.

And evade is the action I chose.  I moved to the extreme boonies and built my own self-sufficient hide-out 125km from the nearest human being (about about 200km from the nearest tiny town).  My place cannot be seen or reached by land vehicle, and is designed, obscured and blended into the natural environment to be invisible from the air.  I spent 80% of my life savings to buy and construct the components of my little independent digs, including solar-panels, battery-banks, water-system, two small greenhouses and tiny but very modern high-tech 2-seat airplane (that gets 75 mpg and can fly up to 4000km non-stop (or up to 6000km if necessary with internal fuel blatters)).

And so, you see your presumption is not true.  To fight the predators-that-be is not the only way to avoid being governed.  I will add that my little airplane can land and take-off on only 80 meters of [fairly] straight rock, dirt, road, grass, field, etc.  And it has GPS and 3-axis autopilot.  With a little research, I can find obscure places to land easily near anywhere I want.  I've traveled to 15 fictitious nations already without permission or notice already.

And so, life can be free, and life can be ungoverned.  Does this involve risk?  As long as I stay home, very little.  On my trips, some risk is unavoidable.  But pretty much nobody notices when a tiny little aircraft sets down in the middle of nowhere at 3am on some dark but moonlit night.  Just as nobody notices a little spec crossing the south-pacific.  But yeah, I better not need to ditch in the middle of the south-pacific... that could be bad.  But that's my problem.

Just come back up from George Square in central Glasgow. About 2000 Union Jack waving Glasgow Rangers /Orange Walk guys up from the South side a lot with a good drink in them, versus a small group of Yes Scotland supporters, mostly wee student boys and girls . Incredible courage of a wee girl wrapped in a Saltire singing Flower of Scotland into the faces of two dozen Football Hooligans with her pals. The police are keeping them back and its all in that surreal almost comedic atmosphere you get only in Glasgow just before a fight. The Rangers crowd are roaming around the police line looking for an a route past the police to attack the students. Normally these things end with a stabbing in a side street late Saturday afternoon after the football.  Suspicious dark grey van - MI5?. Mob will no doubt be looking for a spot for some poor student to get stabbed. the police are out in force and doing a great job but I fear will get nasty. No celtic tops yet but if they do then you may have Northern Ireland all over again.

count the vote multiple times why this only one count stuff is it because you know the more times you counted the more times you knoow you screwed up the first time? i say all votes should be counted a minimum of three times why not? the vote was rigged?! yes of course it was! does not even have to be nefarious or intentional (although probably was) could be rigged just by human error itself people make mistakes and when multiple people make multiple mistakes that can pile up and you have individuals who are in charge who would like to see a certain outcome doing their part as an individual to make sure the vote goes their way!

Forgive me for being arch conspiracy theorist here but thought it odd that the Yes activists outside the polling station were not doing an exit poll. Terrible odd this I thought. Also the invigilators from the Yes side. I think the Yes campaign may have been infiltrated and worked their way into positions as invigilators during the count. The SNP has been swamped by activists and how were they supposed to vet them or even consider vetting them.

Also the crowd in George Square the Rangers & Lodge people have been absent from the campaign till now. Its like the small smattering of No people in Glasgow have dissapeared to be replaced by this lot. Also funny the Rangers people are not shouting Sectarian songs at all just secular chants. This is strange as that's what these guys do naturally .... its almost scripted.

Hey Jimmy. I think you`ve been on the grog. I do most of my deep thinking when i`m bladdered. Surely is not the most obvious answer that Scotland being a relative conservative(small C) country, did not want change at the moment. For whatever reason whether they were scared out of it or what. They were just not ready for change. Just accept it and don`t come up with ridiculous conspiracy theories.

The Young people through no fault of their own mind you are stuck in jobs that burn capital at a epic rate.

Indeed their jobs are worse then pointless.

It would be better if they did not go to "work" and return to village life.

Have no doubt about it. Anyone who things voting is not rigged is insane. It can be done surreptitiously by a small legal change at the last minute like having a write in candidate you are voting for requiring the voter to write in the vote to include the candidates full name and address of said candidate in the space of 2 inches with a magic marker, or a slick former governor who ran for senate in a certain New England State, who changed the legal definition of independent to mean in enrolled and formed the Independent Party forcing candidates at the last minute to find other venues.

We know about voting machines and how they can be compromised and the evidence that proves it. We know how marked ballots can be friiggef with Going back to the John Martin fiasco on Maine and how that worked out.

Be it a local race and more importantly national one, someone will fuck with it. That said, Scotland's results are most likely bogus.

"Part One: The Origins of the Fed

“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.” – FDR letter to Colonel Edward House, Nov. 21 1933

All our lives we’ve been told that economics is boring. It’s dull. It’s not worth the time it takes to understand it. And all our lives, we’ve been lied to.

War. Poverty. Revolution. They all hinge on economics. And economics all rests on one key concept: money.

Money. It is the economic water in which we live our lives. We even call it ‘currency'; it flows around us, carries us in its wake. Drowns those who are not careful.

We use it every day in nearly every transaction we conduct. We spend our lives working for it, worrying about it, saving it, spending it, pinching it. It defines our social status. It compromises our morals. People are willing to fight, die and kill for it." j.c.

He is responding to Russian observers' reports concerning irregularities in vote counting at the Scottish referendum. His job, naturally, is to rubbish their claims, but Scotland apparently isn't buying the strong 'No' result: this petition alone has nearly reached the 50,000 signatures needed to demand an enquiry into the alleged result.

Russia has said the conduct of the Scottish referendum "did not meet international standards", with its observers complaining the count took place in rooms that were too big and that the procedure was badly flawed.

In an apparent attempt to mirror persistent western criticism of Russia's own elections, Igor Borisov - an accredited observer - said the poll failed to meet basic international norms.

Borisov and three other Russians arrived in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening, the state news agency Ria Novosti reported. The team from Moscow's Public Institute of Suffrage watched voting take place in the Scottish capital and the surrounding area. It also met with Scottish politicians, voters and representatives from non-governmental organisations, Ria said.

Borisov said he was unimpressed by what he saw. He said the room where he watched the count on Thursday night was a cavernous "aircraft hangar" next to an airfield. It was difficult to see what was going on, he said, adding: "The hangar is approximately 100m by 300m. There are tables, with voting papers stacked upon them, but the observers are stuck around the perimeter. Even if you want to, it's impossible to tell what's happening. It's also unclear where the boxes with ballot papers come from."

Borisov said the US state department, the UK and other western countries loudly hectored the Kremlin about Russia's supposed democratic deficiencies. But in this instance, he said, London and Edinburgh had not "fully met" the requirements of a proper referendum.

"Nobody was interested in who was bringing in the voting slips. There were no stamps or signatures as the bulletins were handed over," he said.

Supporters of the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, had been fervently hoping for a yes vote. Some Russian nationalists had even fixed yes badges to their Twitter profiles, with one - Konstantin Rykov - adding a "Mc" to the front of his Cyrillic surname. (The badge and "Mc" had disappeared by Friday morning). The Kremlin apparently saw Scottish independence as a way of justifying its own hasty annexation of Crimea in March, following a "referendum" conducted in just three weeks and condemned by the west, as armed Russian forces and irregulars swarmed over the Crimean peninsula. Moscow also felt that a yes vote would weaken the UK and bring to power a post-independence Scottish government more amenable to Moscow's wishes. Alex Salmond, Scotland's first minister, expressed qualified admiration for President Putin in an interview with GQ in March.

Comment: This is a plus for Salmond, though of course Harding intends it as a negative.

The Kremlin propaganda channel RT, meanwhile, speculated that the result might have been rigged and expressed surprise at the "North Korean" levels of turnout.

Comment: That high turnout could equally have been accurately reported; the unbelievable thing we're being asked to believe is that they turned out in record numbers to remain in the UK.

Afshin Rattansi, the presenter of RT's "Going Underground" show, said there were "international considerations", such as the UK's nuclear deterrent, which had affected the outcome. He said: "With the vote as close as this, with the mainstream media on one side, with a massive amount of people from Westminster running up to beg Scotland the other way, and certain recounts in certain bits of the poll, which way did the vote go, really?"

He added: "It is normally the sort of turnout you would expect in North Korea. Usually media here would go 'we don't believe it. How can it be nearly 90%?'"

Comment: Instead of countering the arguments made by Borisov with facts, The Guardian takes the only road available to them by using ridicule and rehashed propaganda. Clearly there were many, many issues with the way the referendum was handled, but then, the truth has never been of much concern to the British empire and their lapdog media.

The "high turnout" in this referendum recalls the "high turnout" in various Republican primaries in 2012. If you stuff the ballot boxes, the turnout is bound to appear high.

SNP + Unionists already knew the total number of people registered to vote.

If you do the math SNP + Unionists it equals the number of people registered to vote.

How can there be voter fraud to the tune of 400,000?

I watched skynews live as the ballots were counted and then announced. The yes votes on the no table weree there because there wasn't enough room on the yes table. They had them in groups of 1000 and if they put any more on the yes table they would've fallen off so they put them on the no table but they were definitely still counted as YES. If you stayed up for 7 hours and watched it all live you would take off your tinfoil hats.

The real issue were the outer islands - They want to be free from Scotland and voting pro-Unionist they figured they could break from England easier as Scotland would never give them their freedom. Even the western gaelic islands voted no - heavily and that was supposed to go yes.

The old vs young difference in voting is understandable....

The youth of today can live without television but cannot live without the Internet...if given the choice they will choose the Internet....a vast majority of younger people get their news from the net, blogs, social media etc etc....these are the ones that are usually able to wake up and see the real deal because they aren't fed the msm bs....

The older generation like those blue hairs counting the votes...tv is their primary source of entertainment and source for information...and that's captured and owned MSM feeding the bs propaganda narrative....truly is the idiot box

Any vote in any area stirs the issue of more areas trying to shake free of the bonds they have within countries from which they want more.

Borders are a creation of man and not visible to the birds flying above. Much bloodshed and many wars could be avoided if the issues of regime change or borders could be handled in a more rational and constructive way, but do not expect this to happen. Borders and political control is a problem that haunts man since before the written word.

Recently President Obama and other officials have talked about the legal sanctity of sovereign borders, but in reality this is an argument of convenience masking deeper issues. When it comes down to it we are just pawns in this sad power game. If you doubt this just ask some of the many people displaced from their homes in Syria. More on the subject of sovereign borders in the article below.

Mommas in America were discouraged in a song many years ago from letting their children grow up to be cowboys, it appears to have been a reasonable decision. Today after viewing the lifestyles associated with many career paths, politics and the route of so called "public service" seems to offer much potential.

A career in politics can grant you a lifestyle where you, and oftentimes your family will get to rub elbows with the ultra wealthy and the country's most powerful titans of business and industry. This career choice also has the benefit of sheltering you, and extending legal protection that covers you from the responsibilities of your actions. Flying about in private planes politicians are rewarded with generous pensions and superior healthcare benefits far outside the reach of the average citizen. More on this subject below.

Possibly, Scots have shown that there may exist

Ya see, the vote was so in favor of the Yes crowds, that no matter what the babylonian bamboozelers did, they could not over come the overwhelming numbers of Yes votes. When that happens, they have the last dirty trick to use. They do as they have done in many elections, and that is to use the ol flip-flop trick. The scam is so blatant and brazen that mostly every time it is accepted as the media-propaganda is crammed down the throats of the disenfranchised voters to support the fraud. No one can actually believe such a thing is possible and would not even believe it if they were told it really happens. This has happened many times in America.

Aye, tis hard to believe and no one will ever admit it. The truth is so hard to accept when actually it is easy to believe that the Scottish vote really could have been 55% for the Yes camp, and 45% for the No. Because the real numbers where to much to rig, hide, mis-count, and obfuscate by the many actions of the Lodge members assigned these covert jobs for the glory of the crown, they simply flip-flopped the vote to reflect that 55% voted No, and the Yes vote was only 45%. Because the differences are so close, they can say that no matter how much cheating was done, it would not change the vote. Another distraction from the real crime of the flip-flop methodology they keep doing in many of the rigged, and tainted elections. In America, the art of the flip-flop has been Mastered. It is all mathematically figured out, with an scam-explanation for all the lies and cheating.

What a farked up world where it is easy to tell the lemmings that black is white, 2+2=5, up is down, and there is nowhere but here to go.

Freaking Cheaters!

FWIW

I have worked as a voting official in Aust for several years. (Federal and State)

I can't tell what this women is doing.

At every election, less experienced counters will create separate piles with votes that are unclear and then a more senior member will review these and make their best effort to determine the intention of the voter, or if the voters intention is not discernable, or if it is just invalid.

I have never seen anything like what this woman is doing. It is possible that it was a pile of 'probable but unclear No' that she was then asked to double check - but she is constantly re-shuffling the pile with the same votes.

I have never seen anything like it.

The video I was watching was looped!

She has clearly simply put a couple of votes on the wrong pile - realised her error - corrected it and continued.

Happens ALL THE TIME, and then somebody double-checks later, if the scrutineers don't pick it up immediately.

THIS VIDEO IS BS.

One line in particular undermines any claim the author has to credibility: Bush did not "steal" any election. On the contrary, the Dems were prevented from stealing the 2000 election. They almost got away with stealing the 2004 election. Could you imagine what a disaster the world would be if, whose naivete is exceeded only by their pomposity, had taken the office in 2004?

Very inflamed and biased article with little to recommend it, apart from its ant-EU content.

How would the EU or the Electoral commission mange all 26 or so, of the Scottish constiutencies, to get them to vote fraudulently? My daughter voted Yes and we voted No. Perhaps that is a better explanation. She is a University student, and I have a Hons degree.

I suspect that this tye of article is mainly referring to the usual mob in Glasgow, whilst the rest of Scotland behaves honourably and with civility. It must have been the promise of milk and honey from the imaginary money tree, that all you socialists and benefit wanters, think is just around the corner, led by the Labour party. Unfortunately for you, they are just leading you round n circles, and merely grounding you into the dirt. When the truth is out, and UKIP impact the establishment, then all parts of the UK will beneit in real, substantial and long term recovery. Without buying the establishments seat at a top table via the EU and Foreign Aid to no good end for the British public. This was just a sideline and a distraction for the reckoning to come for the establishment at Westminster, all done via the ballot box and legally, so no repurcussions or bad losers making excuses.

Don't think there is much to say about the so called videos linked above. Both sides of the campaign have dismissed them as NOT being rigging. I think you need to know just when the pictures were taken and at what stage of the pre -counting bundling etc.

But as someone from south of the border I am mightily relieved at the outcome. Salmonds background is one of a Marxist. Scotland represents about 10% of the UK population. So here you had a situation where roughly 5% of the UK population was trying to steal 90% of the UK oil resources with a view to going on a socialist/ marxist spending spree (assuming 10% pop  then half for a winning vote).

Scotland went bust and was bailed out by England under the Act of Union in 1707. You could easily see Scotland going bust again, and the UK having to bail them out again (just as we bailed out Ireland after the Celtic Tiger rolled over dead). No country can afford to have open borders with an adjoining bankrupt state.  Nigel Farage will get the whole of the UK out of the EU yet, and Scotland will have more true independence then that it would have had under Salmond's plans to join the EU.
