I was replaying a lesson in probabilities today as I was pulling the drivetrain out of a broken 2005 Audi S4. WE were given a chart and told to draw a 2-D graph with the origin in the center, and then given coins to flip and let land on it. Each landing was to be graphed with the location and the result ('heads' or 'tails') on the graph (which was 5 feet square). I played it back in my mind as I pulled all the 'Triple-Square' bolts and the 'Allen-headed socket' bolts, and my mind wandered back to the false paradigm of the 'neo-cons' and the 'neo-libs' ('heads', or 'tails'). My mind wandered even further as I went through the learned machine actions, and I began to think of the difference between the TOTALITARIAN 'socialists', and the LIBERAL 'socialists'.
The goals are the same, but the methods of accomplishing them are slightly different (like the differences between the 'Triple-Square' and the 'Allen' socket-headed capscrews).
AUDI, however, decided to put the TIMING CHAINS in the BACK of the engine (NOT the front, like everyone else in the whole FUCKING WORLD does). IF i was to charge legitimate 'book-time' to do this job at the average dealership labor rate of $105.00 per hour using AUDI'S published times and AUDI'S shop tools and 'special service' tools that probably cost multi-thousands of dollars), the LABOR ALONE would be in the range of THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS. AUDI publishes 28 point something HOURS to do this job, but the REALITY is closer to 50.
I estimate that the parts involved will total about ANOTHER $3,000.00 The 'base parts' have only totalled about a Grand so far, but both front driveshaft RZEPPA joints are bad, and the rear driveshaft output RZEPPA joint is totaled, and multiple coolant hoses are wasted, and one of the radiators (the fucking car has THREE radiators!) is twisted from a minor collision, and the previous owner in Arizona decided to lower the car, so the front bumper is wasted underneath and the skid-shields have literally been ripped off, and...). The SAD thing is: When I get done, this car will only be as good as a glorified VOLKSWAGEN (but WAY WORSE).
The differences between the ASHKENAZIM and the KHAZARIM are only a matter of a few degrees. ASHKENAZIM give you drugs before they kindly and slowly gut you, and KHAZARIM prefer methods of torture that cannot be discussed while they gut you. It's like the difference between an AUDI and a VOLKSWAGEN.
The coins landed with a repeatability of 51% tails and 49% heads, evenly spaced in all four quadrants of the graph. It seems as though the side of the coins called 'heads' actually weigh about .2% more (hence the 'statistically insignificant' advantage of the 'tails' results due to the effects of gravity).

Well, is AUDI any better than HYUNDAI?
No. It simply takes longer to work on, and costs a shitload more. They both break (Audi seems to break a lot more, though). The fucking AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR on this S4 is driven by a DRIVESHAFT that goes in to the BACK of the motor and runs off the TIMING CHAINS (all four of them), just like the POWER STEERING PUMP is). The Hyundai A/C compressor is driven by a BELT and mounted in the same place (and the POWER STEERING PUMP is mounted up on top, and has three bolts and two hoses, and the replacement time might be an hour, versus 13 hours REAL for the Audi). You have to spend TWELVE HOURS dropping the engine-transmission assembly in the AUDI just to get to either one, but the HYUNDAI might take THREE total hours to swap out for BOTH.
What a bitch.

Oh well, the corn is making 300 bushels, soybeans are turning and should be running them in a few weeks, cattle have lots of grass and plenty of hay for the winter and have awuired a new camplocation for my 5th wheel on the Gulf Coast 2 blocks away from the beach to go too this winter and play with the grandson.
