Israel Joins The Fighting, Shoots Down Syrian Warplane Which Acted In "Threatening Manner"
Whether as a result of recent icy to quite icy diplomatic relations between the two nations, or just because it has other motives, Israel had clearly abstained from joining the US effort to contain the CIA-created ISIS terrorist juggernaut. However, overnight, with the US finally doing what Israel has hoped it would do for so long, namely being engaged in a bombing campaign of Syria (recall that it was Israel which was one of the biggest supporters of a US-led military intervention in Syria in the summer of 2013), it decided "hell, why not" and joined the fray, when shortly before 3 am Eastern time, this hit:
- ISRAELI SAYS IT DOWNED SYRIAN AIRCRAFT IN ISRAELI AIRSPACE
- ISRAELI ARMY SAYS DOWNED SYRIAN AIRCRAFT WAS FIGHTER JET
Quite notable because it was the first time in three decades that Israel had downed a Syrian warplane, so Israel needed a strong pretext for such aggression. An aggression, incidentally, not against ISIS, but Assad's regime itself, which clearly is what Obama's latest operation is all about - to take down a sovereign while doing the bidding of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, just like in 2013.
And then Israel, oddly, revised the story:
- ISRAEL SHOOTS DOWN SYRIAN WARPLANE NEAR BORDER: ISRAEL ARMY
So... it may not have been in Israel airspace. But then, why? Oh, here's why:
- ISRAEL’S YA’ALON SAYS SYRIAN JET ACTED IN ‘THREATENING MANNER’
Just how does a jet act in a "threatening manner" - isn't a fighter jet's very premise to exist in a threatening manner?
In any event, Israel is now part of the onslaught, which means that the carve up of Syria's territory, with Assad's ouster now firmly priced in, has begun. Something tells us that whatever Qatar does not take, and it will mostly need a corridor of land so its nat gas pipeline can traverse the country and enter Europe with Brussel's blessing since this would crush Putin's leverage over Europe, will be handed over to "US allies" in the region.
Here is Reuters' take on the event:
Israel shot down a Syrian warplane on Tuesday, saying the aircraft crossed the battle lines of Syria's civil war and flew over the Israeli-held Golan Heights, perhaps by accident. The incident coincided with but did not appear to be directly related to air strikes the United States and Gulf Arab allies mounted on Islamic State strongholds in Syria.
But it presented another challenge to Israel's oft-stated desire to stay on the sidelines of a conflict on its northern doorstep, in which al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front rebels took over a border crossing on the Golan last month.
The Israeli military said its U.S.-made Patriot missile air defence system shot down a Syrian Russian-built Sukhoi fighter plane that had "infiltrated Israeli airspace" over the territory, captured by Israel in the 1967 Middle East war.
Of course, Syria's version of events is quite different, namely that the warplane was not over Israel territory, meaning following the US act of aggression against a sovereign, Israel was merely piggybacking and also declaring war on the Assad regime:
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which tracks violence in the civil war, said the warplane had been bombing areas outside Quneitra, a Syrian town near the Israeli-held side of the frontier, at the time it was shot down. It said the pilot had bailed out. Syria described the downing of the aircraft as an act of aggression.
Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Yaalon, commenting on the incident, said Israel "will not allow any element - neither a state nor a terrorist group - to threaten our security and violate our sovereignty".
Israeli military sources said the plane apparently crossed by accident into Israeli-controlled airspace.
In his statement, Yaalon also seemed to raise that possibility, saying Israel would respond strongly to perceived threats "whether they stemmed from a mistake or were deliberate".
Or weren't a mistake at all, and the attack was just another provocation seeking to escalate what is already a war of interenational aggression headed by a US-led coalition.
So while the West, and Arab nations have tipped their hand, it now remains to be seen just how, and on whose side, Russia and China will join this conflict which is a nothing but a rerun of the Syrian near-war of summer 2013, instigated by the grand puppet masters, Qatar and Saudi Arabia's Bandar bin Sultan.

Wars don't, generally, affect Americans but the Russia/Syria alliance changes things and American leadership doesn't care about it's people. Putin will have to decide, soon, whether to harm Americans, or not. He has to put a stop to this bs, if he is to survive politically.
If you can, STOCK UP on fuel, food, drink, supplies and meds and hide them from looters. Do it as if you expect disruptions in supply chains and do it soon.
Credit France and Germany for staying out of this. They see where it will lead - while the US does not.
The Six-Day War of 1967 that never ends. Minds without hearts pound sand.
...is this the 7 that Legarde was refering to...
In the latter half, historian and expert in ancient mysteries, Jonathan Cahn <http://www.theharbinger-jonathancahn.com/>, discussed how the ancient biblical cycle of Shemitah has coincided with various collapses, significant events, and economic crashes over the last 100 years. The cycle of Shemitah was originally described as a sabbath or rest for the land, and occurs for a one year period every seven years. The recent economic crashes in 2001 and 2008 fell during Shemitah years, as well as the events of 9-11, he outlined. Going further back, the significant dates of 1917 and 1945 related to WWI & II fell during Shemitah years, as well as economic crashes in 1973, 1980 and 1987.
The next Shemitah cycle starts on September 25, 2014 and will run through September 13, 2015. The big changes tend to manifest toward the end of the cycle, he noted, so we may see dramatic events in September 2015. The Shemitah pattern, he suggested, "is something that operates in the supernatural and the natural...and given the right circumstances, it can become a sign of warning and judgment...If you talked to the Rabbis, they'll say the Shemitah was showing that really God is in charge of everything," and that people should turn away from worldly things and turn back to God.

Like the seventh day of the week, every seventh year is holy. The Shemittah (Sabbatical) year is a year devoted to strengthening our bond with G?d-specifically, honing our faith in His omnipotence and our trust in His kindness.
This year, 5775 since creation (Sept. 25, 2014-Sept. 13, 2015), is a Shemittah year. The articles and classes in the following sections will discuss this year’s special observances as well as its spiritual message.
Wishing you an inspiring, uplifting, and meaningful Shemittah year!

I must relate this story from the early 1980s.
I was sitting in a cotton field in the Golan Heights with an Israeli that was in his early 30's. We were taking a break and smoking. Opposite us on the Syrian side of the border was a Syrian Army base, about 3 kilometers away, it was in the early afternoon. A wing of Israeli jets flew over us straight at the Syrian base, and turned straight up in the air just before they crossed the border. The Israeli turned to me and said "If the Syrians did that to us, we would already be at war".
I still remember what he said and that moment; it changed how I thought about Israel - Arab relations from that moment forward.
And no, I am not a Jew, I was raised Roman Catholic.
Hwo is gonna to kill all those jews?
You have to love the timing of all this. Six weeks before the midterm elections and Obama's foreign policy disapproval polling is dropping even among the left.
No doubt Syria is some important Realestate. I cant imagine Iran, Turkey, Russia ever allowing the US axis to control Syria. I guess the Saudi's want the US to earn their pay to maintain petro dollar.
Of course it had to be shot down. How dare they fly that plane over Greater Israel... I mean Syria.
It's Today's Fairy Tale. :-)
"Mommy what is that plane exploding up there?" 'That was one of Assad's jet fighters, dear. It was one of the jet fighters Assad was using to bomb the terrorists who are trying to overturn Assad because Assad isn't letting a pipeline be built through his country'. "So is exploding the plane Doing God's Work, Mommy?" 'Yes, dear. Remember, after God made the two hundred billion stars in this galaxy, and the one hundred billion other galaxies like this one, God had to have someone run them, someone to decide things like where pipelines should be built, so God made His People to decide things, and deciding things is Doing God's Work. So, dear, if His People decide that a pipeline should be built through Assad's country, but Assad won't let it be built, then Doing God's Work includes overturning Assad. If elections don't overturn Assad, and terrorists can't overturn Assad because Assad's jet fighters bomb them, then exploding Assad's jet fighters is Doing God's Work. Just remember, dear: deciding things is Doing God's Work, which is done by His People, and other people who Try to Decide For Themselves What They Are Going To Do In Their Own Countries are bad, and Doing God's Work is overthrowing them, any way that can be done. Now get back to your homework, dear'.
For the record, I think Dubya, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, McCain, Lindsey Graham, and a bunch of chicken-hawk preachers and talk-show hosts are among His People. Anyone Doing God's Work. And the Family of Saud, and other similar families in the Near East. "It's a big club, and you ain't in it." It's just that religion provides such an easy excuse. "Being You-Fill-In-The-Name-Of-The-Religion means never having to say you're sorry."
It is not about religion.
It is not about 'Gods People'.
It is not about race - semitism, whether Jewish or Arab.
It is about gas.
It is about this:
"...not against ISIS, but Assad's regime itself, which clearly is what Obama's latest operation is all about - to take down a sovereign while doing the bidding of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, just like in 2013."
It is about SAYING they are bombing ISIS while ACTUALLY bombing Assad.
France and Germany demurred, not because they are more pristine, more moral, and good, but because this lie is a stupid stupid strategy, that will be easily discovered, and will have consequences that the idiots in the US Federal Government are simply incapable of fathoming in their hubris.
If they were less stupid, they would have helped iraq kick ISIS back to Syria, and then established a UN demilitarized zone between Iraq and Syria....through which, totally coincidentally, I am sure, a pipeline could be built.
The guys in Washington are buffoons.
Actions speak louder than words.
But, I've noticed more and more it's not the actions which get people really pissed off, but, the obvious blatant lies that are spewed to justify them.
Like I said in a post yesterday, I can hardly wait to hear about the random covert attack which takes out Assad, conducted by ISIS members who remarkably somehow developed tactics identical to a team of U.S. Navy Seals.
Nobody likes being taken for a fool.
You mean that unaccompanied chirrens is not walking across that border?
My guess is that's a secure border.
Israel has been quietly supporting Assad not the rebels who are much worse.
Many participants here are ignorant haters - someone must be at fault for tortured lives - must be the jews. No, Look in your mirrors! Israel is an honorable country and should be our main ally. Sorry folks, but the world is far from perfect in all ways because each one of us. Me good, the elites (including jews) bad. Let me see if I can round up enough $ to buy another 1/10 oz and spew the rest of afternoon. I would rather hang with the "sheep" then pigs. I AM OUT!
How dare the Syrians fly a fighter over the Syrian district of Greater Israel?!
An American, not US subject.
Terrible !!! Only one Assad plane shot down in all these years - shoot them ALL down !!!
ISIS moved into the Golan Heights area a couple of months ago, and Assad sent a heavy force after them about three weeks ago, violating the agreements. Israel warned them about that, but there must have been some quiet cooperation as well. But publicly Israel has warned Syria to keep their aircraft out of the area, and maybe there was no cooperation on that point. It's just a mess over there ain't it.
Sure. It's "aggression" to shoot down a fighter jet from an enemy country in your own airspace. Obviously, it's those evil, bloodthirsty Jews trying to start WWIII. Again.
re Israel Joins the Fighting... shoots down a SYRIAN warplane..
The beast slithers out of its cave... confident that the fog-of-war can conceal its true designs...
Speaking of gas lines, I read that the Germans tried for many years to build a railroad from Germany to the Near East, to rail oil to Germany. They tried and tried, but the British always maneuvered diplomatically to stop them. That was before WW1.
At the same time, the British were trying to build a railroad from Cape Town to Cairo, but various powers, including the Boers, kept stopping them.
Personally, I think such railroads would be wonderful.
Less than 24 hours into this insane attemp to remove ISIS, the smoke & mirrors, are falling away
