Nope, as I have said many times, I am a foreign guest here and the best business is to mind my own business. If you want to draw unwanted attention to yourself, all you have to do is show up at those rallies.
The activists here (whom I respect for their tenacity and organization) are more than capable of handling the PR and creative image production themselves. The government has underestimated them.
Moreover, as an American, I am in no position to lecture others about their freedom.
So far, from what I can see, the protestors in Hong Kong have more freedom to express themselves than you would get in Blumfukistan.
The police here are very professional. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

yup. moreover, the participants seem to embrace the original "occupy" ideals (whether or not those ideals were originally honestly expressed or were a cover for a less than ideal intent) much more so than their western counterparts, who turned out to be dominated & controlled by the usual attention-seeking narcissists and free shit army of leeches.
besides, gotta love the goggles & umbrellas :)
what's glaringly obvious to me is how the western media is, as usual, trying to pigeonhole the entire thing (PRO-democracy, ANTI-china, blah, blah, blah). just goes to show ya how most in the west still have not a clue on the push-pull dynamics inherent in eastern culture. which is why banzai is wise to not poke his nose.

I am thinking of opening a new line of dolls along the lines of GI Joe.The first issue would be Tactical Joe - the normal DHS goon complete with kneepads and the rest of the tactical paraphernalia. Pure Evil.....like I've always said about the Devil. I'd rather have dinner and a drink with him than most people I know. Because at least I know where he stands.
And if it came down to buying stocks on a recommendation from the Devil vs. Blankfein.....I'd buy from the Devil any day of the week. For I would know he is operating on the principle of the drug dealer. He WANTS my stock pick to succeed in order to trap me with the illusion of success and all the ills that brings.
Blankfein would recommend I lever up, buy a metric shit ton of a particular stock, take my money and give me the shaft by then calling his other buddies and tellng them to sell and then giving me a margin call.
