Doctor Boards Atlanta Flight In HazMat Suit To Protest "Lying CDC"

Tyler Durden's picture

"If they're not lying, they are grossly incompetent," said Dr. Gil Mobley, a microbiologist and emergency trauma physician from Springfield, Mo. as he checked in and cleared Atlanta airport security wearing a mask, goggles, gloves, boots and a hooded white jumpsuit emblazoned on the back with the words, "CDC is lying!" As The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports, Mobley says the CDC is "sugar-coating" the risk of the virus spreading in the United States.

As The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports,

A Missouri doctor Thursday morning boarded a plane at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport dressed in full protection gear to protest what he called mismanagement of the crisis by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Dr. Gil Mobley checked in and cleared airport security wearing a mask, goggles, gloves, boots and a hooded white jumpsuit emblazoned on the back with the words, “CDC is lying!”

“If they’re not lying, they are grossly incompetent,” said Mobley, a microbiologist and emergency trauma physician from Springfield, Mo.

Mobley said the CDC is “sugar-coating” the risk of the virus spreading in the United States.

“For them to say last week that the likelihood of importing an Ebola case was extremely small was a real bad call,” he said.

“Once this disease consumes every third world country, as surely it will, because they lack the same basic infrastructure as Sierra Leone and Liberia, at that point, we will be importing clusters of Ebola on a daily basis,” Mobley predicted. “That will overwhelm any advanced country’s ability to contain the clusters in isolation and quarantine. That spells bad news.”

Mobley, a Medical College of Georgia graduate who had an overnight layover after flying to Atlanta from Guatemala on Wednesday...

“Yesterday, I came through international customs at the Atlanta airport,” the doctor told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “The only question they asked arriving passengers is if they had tobacco or alcohol.”

It seems CDC Director Frieden agrees...

I remember the part in Alien where Sigourney Weaver asks the computer (Mother),"Is Blair (Med Officer) helping the Alien?".

The computer responds" Obtain sample, bring back, crew expendable, all other directives subordinate to mission".

I think everyone in the military is getting a wee bit antsy these days.

And then the second movie,"He can't make that kind of decision. He's just a grunt. No offense intended....

By any definition used by the sheeple Ebola is transmittable via the air.  Being sneezed upon by an infected person is plenty enough exposure.  Being in the same plane when they sneeze, and what about droplets left behind on surfaces?  I admit the latter is not clear, but the former even the most educated doctor should be able to understand.

thecrap0n's picture

Paranoid nonsense.  Even in the countries it effects ebola has been rather quiet.  Last time I heard there was 3 or 4 thousands cases and less than 2000 deaths.  Yes, I wouldn't go to any of those countries, but more to avoid other problems those countries have than ebola.  That is to say that if I was to visit Sierra Leone ebola would be the least of my worries.

TheMerryPrankster's picture

Its not the scale of infected vs noninfected as much as the fact if you are the unlucky one it is incurable and has about a 70% fatality rate.

It also propagating geometrically which means the scale of infection is increasing, quarantine is failing and the disease is likely to spread to all continents except antartica and I wouldn't complete rule that one out.

Worry about it? What you should worry about is how it will affect trade and commerce as the sheep become aware that the disease is merciliess and their gods and government cannot protect them. Welcome to the black plague part2, see what would of happened if the europeans had air travel and fedex overnight delivery during the plague.

A trivial thing becomes non-trivial when it becomes ubiquitous. Ebola don't care if you are afraid or not, if you are american or african or chinese. Ebola only wants to live by killing you.Think of a banker the size of a few molecules waiting to kill you by bleeding you to death, they should have called it mini goldman sachs, then people would have paid more attention. I guess..

The governments of those countries have been significantly undercounting the number of dead, and those only of confirmed cases.  In order to be a "confirmed case" one has to have been in a hospital, tested positive and diagnosed.  The hospitals are only treating 1 in 100 cases.  A recent New York Times article comparing government statistics with statistics at a local graveyard arrives at a number similar to 1 in 100 cases being reported.  If these are even close to accurate estimates, then the number of dead would be 200,000.

It is early enough to laugh about the traitorous nbc "reporter" just announced.

MsCreant's picture

A laugh is appropriate. Meanwhile he comes back here, as they all will, and be another vector.

TheMerryPrankster's picture

So then the question becomes, Can other vectors speed the transmission of the virus other than a human host? Can rats, mice and cockroaches carry ebola? What about bedbugs, since they live on human blood can they be infected without dying? Can they spread the disease to their eggs and travelers in every god forsaken shit hole across the world?

21 days to die, if you got Ebola today, it would take up to 21 days to manifest symptoms. 3 weeks is all really anyone has for sure, think about that when you plan your future.

3 weeks.

There never would have been anyone here in the US with Ebola had the US done the right thing and banned all flights going to and from Liberia.

But no -- the politicians were more concerned with being all politically correct 'n sheeit.

it's not just about the pipelines, though {and I'm in the minority, here, in that I don't believe for a moment Qatari pipelines will or would be allowed to compete with Israel's Leviathan, and that blocking an Iranian pipeline is more the goal}

Duffy's picture

What about this enterovirus?  A number of deaths now - spread all over the US, and not a lot of news on it, really.

Hospital blames software for release of Ebola patient:

“Protocols were followed by both the physician and the nurses,” the hospital said in a statement issued Thursday night. "However, we have identified a flaw in the way the physician and nursing portions of our electronic health records (EHR) interacted in this specific case,” it added.

"In our electronic health records, there are separate physician and nursing workflows. The documentation of the travel history was located in the nursing workflow portion of the EHR, and was designed to provide a high reliability nursing process to allow for the administration of influenza vaccine under a physician-delegated standing order. As designed, the travel history would not automatically appear in the physician's standard workflow.”

Whatever.  The doctor didn't read the chart.  The whole chart.  Happens all the time.

Its a sad state when you can't even get accurate health information from the CDC. Didn't take long to brim them under the umbrella of goverment disinformation compaigns run by our fudgepacker in chief. I wouldn't get on an aluminium tubed flying ebola incubator for any reason right now. Shit, the job ain't worth it. Good luck fellow lab rats courtesy of our bloated governmet.

Obama is guilty of misfeasance and malfeasance in office. He is a criminal.

In addition, he is committing second-degree murder under cover of law on everyone who dies from these diseases his reckless policies allowed into the country - Yes, he is guilty of Second Degree Murder: death by reckless indifference to life.

We have reached the point where we tell the Black Racists who support him to go to He11. We tell the Hispanic Racists, the Gay Mafia, the Obamabots, the MSM, the Hollywood celebrities, and any dumba$$ federal cops who defend him to do the same.

We show up at our congressional delegations Town Hals - and their offices in their districts and if we have to - we sit in until the pressure can't be resisted.

If they can mobilize in Hong Kong - we can mobilize to save our lives, the lives of our children, grandchildren, extended family, and the rest of humanity in America.

This transcends politics - this is a genuine life or death crisis. Obama must be removed from office because he is insane - literally - with desire to import all the illegals he can get over the border and use them to open the door to Death in America.

Obama must go. He is aiding and abetting mass homicide in America through insane policies concerning an open invasion of illegals carrying not just this, but God knows what other diseases.

Black Racists, Hispanic Racists (especially the ultra-racist La Raza), gay heterophobic hate-speakers, MSM propagandists, political hacks, air-for-brains cops, kiss-up military flag officers . . . it's over for Obama. Move out of the way, or watch society overwhelm you.

Get rid of him peacefully, or be prepared to see America erupt into a blazing fire of violence against *you* for trying to keep him around.
