US Government Says To Remain Calm

StalingradandPoorski's picture

Just my take on the whole Ebola situation which is unfolding at a rapid speed. As we are all well aware by now, Ebola is rapidly spreading across West Africa, and has made it to shore here in the U.S. Government officials are coming out in droves to tell citizens that the situation is under control and contained. They claim that Ebola does not spread easily like the flu or a cold, and that you can only contract the virus from exposure to bodily fluids. Not a doctor here, but if that was the case, please explain why the current death toll has now surpassed 3,400 according to the World Health Organization. Meanwhile, the U.S. government has ordered 160K HazMat suits. Not trying to instil fear with this post, but maybe this is far more serious than our government officials are claiming it to be.

I am not worried. The Democrats keep telling me how smart they are, especially Obama, so I am sure that they have it under control. Thank goodness a Republican is not in the White House now!

And that includes all governments, not just our own. I found this story very unsettling given all of the news appearing lately which points to the Israelis/Mosad being involved in 9/11. Why would ISIS want to infect Americans when their "great enemy" Israel is right there? It just doesn't make sense. This has propaganda written all over it. But I would never underestimate the lunatic elites.

High profile incidents covered by the media often reassures the public that the government stands ready to rush to our aid in case of a national disaster. Following a tornado or hurricane in the newscast we see FEMA workers spread-out and moving from door to door offering help to Americans in need.

Be prepared that in the case of a major crisis or disaster the government will prove largely ineffective. If and when a large Armageddon event does occur over a large area we will quickly become acutely aware that God helps those who help themselves. More on this subject in the article below.

Don't give the governments of the world to much credit they spent weeks and a fortune but could not even find a large missing Malaysian jet. This virus has worked overtime to pick up "critical mass." I'm referring to the point where enough people are infected with the virus that it can sustain a chain reaction and expand out of control.

The bad news is Ebola may have already reached critical mass and may now be impossible to contain. The economic and humanitarian implications of this are massive and it could change everything. More on why we should be very concerned in the article below.

If you do any research on Ebola Reston (which did infect humans but did not appreciably sicken them) you will find that it was airborne.

The current outbreak might not be. It might require aerosolization to travel in the air. But each new infection represents trillions of throws of the genetic dice. It WILL get lucky and become airborne. Or borne by some creature that feeds on us or alongside us.

It's only a matter of time.

I fear that the recent Ebola missteps in Texas are the first in a series of non-intentional errors by healthcare workers, county health departments and federal agencies trying to contain a disease that by just the few accounts has begun its dissemination into day-to-day America. One by one, stories of hospital ER visits by symptomatic patients are being reported. Maybe it's Ebola, maybe not, but by the time that patient seeks help, the patients wanderings and travels have already done the damage.

Even if the ER does the isolation procedures perfect, what about the time the patient sat in the waiting room with his flu-like symptoms with every other patient with flu like symptoms? Who has Ebola and who doesn't? Now the air in that waiting room is filled little Ebola spores (metaphorically speaking).

The CDC can pronounce all day that it only spreads from direct contact. I'm not buying it. Even if that's true, the patient touched ER entry door, the arms on the waiting room chairs, set down using his hands, leaned on the counter, wiped his nose with his hand, coughed into his hand, signed the paper work with a hospital pen, went to the drinking fountain, stuck his arm in a blood pressure cuff, had his temperature taken with a disposable thermometer cover (which hopefully the staff disposed of properly).

This is an epidemiological nightmare and doesn't even begin to count the general mistakes that happen day-to-day with hospital isolation procedures. Staff makes mistakes. Hospitals love policies and procedures and the staff gets it wrong all the time. There are multitudes of binders, filled with policies and procedures, that no one actually bothers to read. It's too much, I understand that. State health departments mandate voluminous policies and procedures, on everything from the wattage of lightbulbs in stairwells to how flush a foley catheter. There is step-by-step guidance for everything. The hospital creates the manuals, but when it comes down to the staff executing the procedures, not following hospital policy happens all the time. Complacency. It's the nature of being human.

The even bigger issue is what kind of a Homeland Security response is it going to elicit if the Ebola problem gets bigger. You want to see a locked down country, just let Ebola get out of control. And, we will all go along with it. We will beg to have the infected taken away. We will demand every restrictive measure be taken to protect the healthy. It will be a “bring out your dead” scenario every morning, except Monty Python won't be involved. WE will be involved.

Economic collapse or Ebola. Take your pick of bad medicine. The first won't be pretty, the latter we will do whatever we are told to do and we'll say thank you to the government for doing it.

Duncan should have never been given a visa. The reason he got a visa is an illegal PROGRESSIVE IMMIGRATION POLICY to import a voter base that will keep progressive criminals in power.

Progressive murderers infesting the FEDGOV do not care how many Americans die as long as they can remain in power. American citizens are already dying by the thousands as a result of the illegal importation of a disease and criminal laden voter base.

Power kills, and the bloody progressives are ready to kill as many American citizens as it takes.

http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/MURDER.HTM

Progressives truly are the bloodiest murderers on the planet, second only to Islam who are fellow travelers in murdering tyranny.

Progressive criminals infesting the FEDGOV are a mortal threat and American citizens should fear for their lives.

Time for impeachment is long past and if no one will arrest the traitor progressive criminals then law abiding citizens threatened with murder by a rouge lawless government may opt for Rule .308 to fight for their lives.

Weird.  Their stats indicate that 1m is the low end of the Soviet carnage in Russia.  I have never seen an estimate of less than 18m.  Many records were kept of the purges and gulags.

They also give numbers for American Indians.  Records were not kept across the vast majority of the continent until the Indians were already contained.

I'm not saying they are wrong in the big picture.  Their numbers just seem pretty much random is all.

about those 160k hazmat suits: i find it ironic that the whiny malcontent hysterical fear-monger named "michael snyder" keeps harping on the fact that the gov bought 160k hazmat suits, yet he himself claims to be pro-prepper.

if there is a possibility of ebola spreading farther and wider, buying hazmat suits is the reasonable thing to do, to prepare ahead of time.

there's a lot of things to criticize the government for, pretty much everything they do, but this is not one of them!

I, too, find Mr Snyder's presentation to be a bit theatrical at times. However, I think his point is not to criticize .gov for prepping, but rather, for prepping on the one hand while at the same time telling the sheeple "...to remain calm, everything is under control, do nothing, don't panic." If the situatoin is serious enough for .gov to purchase that many suits, shouldn't they also be encouraging the population to prepare in a commensurate manner? Instead, .gov parades earnest bureaucrats onto the TV telling us: 'we got this'-- when it's abundantly clear to anyone paying attention-- they don't.

if we're following the 9/11 playbook, then thomas duncan is AA flight 11, and the north tower (dallas) has been hit. shortly we'll see patient zero prime, aka united flight 175, impact the south tower (???city to be named???).

the thermite charges are already in place. for a bio-attack on the american people to succeed, an agent like ebola is far too imprecise. yes, there must be bleeding and zombies galore, but these must be confined to one or two metro areas. (so that the rest of us can show our patriotism by continuing to shop and go to disneyland)

picture this: right now, there's a guy with his finger on the trigger, about to 'pull it'. about to bring the buildings down.

his 'shocktober' weapon of choice will be just like nanothermite, powerful, precise. cnn will call it ebola, but the actual agent used will be far more deadly and gruesome. the agent used needs to have a high kill rate so that it burns itself out within 2-3 weeks. like nanothermite, the agent used will have been manufactured in a modern facility.

the cdc is telling you to stay inside the building.
