Passenger With Ebola Symptoms Quarantined At Las Vegas Airport
Six ambulances have surrounded a plane this morning at McCarran International Airport amid reports that a passenger on a Delta flight from New York is showing symptoms similar to Ebola, according to NBC3 local news.
Delta Airlines Flight 404 at Terminal 1, Gate D40 is the focus of the medical response.
UMC officials say they have been placed on stand-by to receive patients.

Once there is substantial proof that ebola is more easily trasmitted (aersolized) and keeps its high mortality rate, then we are all in trouble. We will know this when we have breakouts around the hotspots with people not directly in contact with the ebola patients.

McMolotov, I second that! Fucking hell, I ate at one at New York JFK before a flight to London, nearly fucking died at Heathrow, in the toilets for two hours before I dared leave! Also, LAX, got back from New Zealand, caught breakfast at LAX before flight home to Midwest. fukers got me again, pretty sick.
Lesson, Airport food sits for hours before anyone gets to eat it, thus bacteria get a firm hold on it. Avoid chicken at all costs.
Airliner food has always been good to me. Never got sick. I believe this airline food is radiated with some micro waves to kill any bacteria before people onboard eat it. I recommend the Lamb Chops on Air New Zealand! Fucking good! And from LAX to Auckland with stops along the way, you get a full three meals on the flight.
Naive me ordering a hamburger at an airport for the last time about 6 years ago: "I have to board in about 20 minutes, will the food be out pretty quick?" Response: "Yes we just heat it up in the microwave." And then I looked into the kitchen and realize they literally only have a microwave, no stoves or anything.

Oh they have and will still have plenty of passengers from West Africa that want to travel one direction. The larger economic issue is that by helping to spread the carnage the costs associated with killing actual Americans and spreading panic here will far exceed any profits the airlines gain by helping to spread the disease. I think that Bastiat fellow's "broken window" fallacy applies here. In short, the net costs of the plague far outweight any benefit to rat handlers not being allowed to ply their trade.
