Passenger With Ebola Symptoms Quarantined At Las Vegas Airport
Six ambulances have surrounded a plane this morning at McCarran International Airport amid reports that a passenger on a Delta flight from New York is showing symptoms similar to Ebola, according to NBC3 local news.
Delta Airlines Flight 404 at Terminal 1, Gate D40 is the focus of the medical response.
UMC officials say they have been placed on stand-by to receive patients.

Currently on a plane stuck on a Las Vegas tarmac that flew out of JFK. They won't let us off the plane because of an ebola scare.

No shit, I flew from JFK to San Diego yesterday and sure enough there was an African family waiting to board the same flight, all wearing hand me down clothing they all had their shoes off, no doubt they were FOB. I was sure I would end up in the same row as them but they ended up about 8 rows behind me, still a bit unerving...just call me paranoid. 6 months of freedom on the Appalachian trail and I step right into this shit!

I was in Cairns Qld. a couple of weeks ago for business (7) days. One of the nurses that tested negative (currently quarantined) for Ebola was from Cairns. This place is fairly remote, but right in the tropical belt. They get all the good tropical diseases.
If that shit gets loose it will spread like wildfire in Qld. It's hotter than hell 24/7 and you sweat like a pig. Tons of tourists from Asia and Europe fly through Cairns airport, and this is high travel season.

Like does an Ebola test work before you show symptoms (NO) which is why the 21 day quarantine. (the tests dont work until after you get symptoms and are contagious, whcih is too late).
