CNN in Full Fear Mongering Mode Cashing in on Ebola

2 Cases of Ebola

From the ‘news’ network that covered and beat the Missing MalaysiaAirlines Flight 370 story to death comes the latest hysteria promoting journalistic approach to the 2 cases of Ebola here in the United States. These people should literally lose their broadcasting license as although many Americans have the ability to rationally think about the issue, unfortunately many Americans lack the level of reasoning abilities necessary to rationally think in a level headed manner regarding the actual risks of becoming infected by Ebola.

More Likely to Die from…

In a sense CNN is shouting fire in a crowded movie theatre, they are pandering to the lowest common denominator to make a rating`s buck on this story. Literally their viewers are more likely to get hit by a car and killed crossing the road, or develop pneumonia this winter, or die shoveling snow than from being affected by Ebola in any manner whatsoever. Literally we are starting to see some of the hysteria play out in patients going to the emergency rooms when they haven`t traveled to Africa, come into contact with anybody who has been to the affected African regions but happen to exhibit a slight fever and or stomach ache which normally they would just take some over the counter remedies.

Examine the Facts: Use Logical Reasoning

Ebola isn`t that easy to catch folks just consider the fact that the original patient was holed up in what was probably less than 1000 square feet apartment with his girlfriend, her five children, and many neighbors going in and out of the apartment when he was already exhibiting enough symptoms to go to the emergency room, and for several days after interacted with all these people in such a confined space, and yet none of those people are showing any signs of coming down with Ebola, and are probably out of the woods from a time perspective.

Nigeria Would Have Been a Disaster Zone if Ebola ‘Airborne Threat’ on Meaningful Scale

If Nigeria a poor country right next door to ground zero for Ebola can halt Ebola in its tracks when by all accounts the conditions would be perfect for it to reach epidemic proportions, and compare Nigeria to the United States and the rest of the developed world`s resources, Ebola is a very manageable problem even under the worst case scenarios here in the United States. The problem is that many people lack basic reasoning abilities, and the last thing these people need is a ‘news’ network hyping up Ebola with their Big Red Flashing News Headlines blowing all proportion out of the story in a hysterical fashion.

Journalistic Line & Fear-Mongering for Ratings

They have a responsibility in having a broadcasting license to inform the public about news stories in a professional manner which provides general context to the stories that they cover so that their viewers can understand how this news affects their lives, not create the context for the story that hyper exaggerates the actual level of risk on how this news will affect the lives of the viewers in a practical sense. Ebola isn`t a new movie release, and CNN isn`t its viral marketing advertising agency, they should be ashamed of themselves over their coverage of news these days. They not only aren`t journalists anymore, they aren`t even infotainment providers, they have stooped to the level of blatant Fear-Mongers.

Not for CNN consumption.

This guy anticipates that the U.S. Government is planning for 200 million deaths and that all his years in the Border Patrol he never has seen the heightened activity with the CDC and FEMA working with BP in his entire career.

It begs the question why President Obama has been working so hard to deliver by stealth so many people from Central and South America (and everywhere else) into the U.S. with certainly not enough substantive question(s) coming out of the MSM or more importantly anger from the public right before this "epidemic" we've been reassured by our faithful leader isn't one -hit it it's stride?!!!

Inducing a state of fear in a population on purpose is a type of psychological warfare.

I'm not saying that Ebola can't spread in the U.S., but creating a public panic leads to bad decisions. People who feel panicked don't make logical decisions. And, without logic, crises can't be dealt with efficiently.

Any thing that is .00004" long and is gunning for your respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts with the ability to turn you into a bag of pus certainly has my attention.  I don't see how respirators would be that effective.  I would think that only breathing bottled air in a completely enclosed BSL-4 suit would be the minimal requirements for entering a potentially ebola-present area.  I keep stressing that this sucker is only .00004" long but is ready, willing and able to turn your body into an ebola producing factory at speeds that would make your head spin before it falls off...

Ebola may be real, but the CNN stories are dramatizations of what they perceive to be reality. They use actors to play the part of Ebola victims.

What about the EMT guys who brought Duncan to the hospital...?   What about the Sheriff's dept. employees who entered his apartment - without any protective gear...?   And the nurse - Ms. Pham?   What - did she break 'protocol' by diving into a vat of Ebola juice, or simply come into contact with an 'aerosolized' droplet, highly invisible to the naked eye, nose, mouth or any other detection mechanism...?   I'll turn this around and suggest the author, 'EconMatters' should be stripped naked and Caned (25X) for his sheer hubris...

It is better to be safe than sorry. So lets apply some logic. How do we know for sure the Duncan's relatives are healthy? The government sequestered them. They are in a undisclosed location. How can you say if Nigeria contained the disease or it is just in the first phases over there? How do we know if we only have 2 cases in America? The government could be covering up other cases or how many people went down with ebola and got misdiagnosed. The government wants the herd relaxed and peaceful. Not awake and watchful.

My readings are that they have found people come down with ebola up to thirty days after exposure; it may be that 21 days will turn out to be too short a period of time. Odd isn't it? When I was growing up we drew firm and hard lines designed to err on the side of protecting others; now due to the "compassionization" of society (you are a bad person, bad unless you agree that all behaviors are just fine!) you are not allowed to protect yourself or your family.

Waaaay back when Clinton was in office........anybody remember the brouhaha about providing deeply discounted cable television access for people who couldn't afford it?

Was there ever any doubt why it was so important (to the government)?  Can't scare 'em if you can't communicate with them.  Can't tell 'em what to think if you can't communicate with them.  Can't milk 'em if you can't communicate with them.

Watching TV to "keep informed" is like voting "to make a difference".

I have to endure their dribble at the gym.  CNN is a conduit or propaganda organ for the state.  Yesterday, they aired a strange .gov cartoon on how Ebola is difficult to catch.  If it's so hard, why did the nurse in Dallas catch it whilst wearing protective gear?

Upvote.  Same here, only at the gym I frequent, it's Fox News on every TV.

All the treadmills and bikes have TVs built-in.  Most of those will be showing Fox News too.

Usually it's retired people staring up at the screens on the wall though.

I turn off TVs when I walk by.

I have no first hand knowledge ...(and neither does the author).... about how 'easy' or difficult Ebola is to transmit/catch.     However, I to tend to agree with the general theme that MSM ... in this case CNN....is indeed 'going for the gold' and hyping Ebola for all it is worth.   Viral pandemics are nothing to mess with....but at the same time, driving people into a frenzy doesn't help matters.

If Americans were truly concerned about viral pathogens, we would have been spending more money on that and far less on "new research" in cosmetic surgery, erectile dysfunction meds, and all the other crap we have been obsessed with for the last 30 years.    Flu kills many thousands of people every year.    In 2014, our most effective weapon against virus is STILL quarantine....which has been the medical method of choice since the Dark Ages.

I am confident that the Kardashians will soon retake the headlines,  the sheeple will stop bleating about Ebola, and CNN will have to find some other way to hype their ratings.

Really? You think so? Cause the news sources from Europe have specifically noted the use of the morticians, bribed by the family, to issue a death certificate. By doing so, they can bury the body rather than have it taken away by govt and incinerated. And if the news if reporting that there will be five thousand cases of ebola Every week in Liberia by December, how long before a lot more show up in Nigeria.

And are our soldiers there to do...what exactly? At the rate of 5000 patients (and calling it only a 50% death rate although it will probably be higher since more patients means less caretakers to treat people), will our soldiers find themselves simply shoving bodies into crematoriiums?

What does this tell us? One of the fundamentals of Christianity is that it provides a foundation of living. Liberia is being hit hard as a result of the endemic health problems of the population: high rates of Aids because of sexual practices, high rates of tuberculosis due to living conditions (no fresh running water, too many people living together), and witch doctor or similar African practices.

Nigeria is saying one thing, the truth may be another thing. Zimbawbwe had (news said) 100 ebola potential patients they were tracking; no further news has shown up on that...Mugabe would be inclined to....well, you fill in the blank.

Ebola fear mongering is a tactic similar to CIA-controlled ISIS soldiers warning America, "We will drown you in blood" and hyping the beheading threat.

Ebola was financed and patented by the CDC as a tool for mind control and a poison delivery with the upcoming vaccine.

Our hidden EU organized crime rulers, who own the Fed, want to induce a state of fear in the public because fear produces a state of helplessness inducing the fearful to seek out the commonly perceived safe harbor of the Establishment.

This capturing process is similar to why our hidden rulers have poisoned the food, water and medicine in order to induce anxiety and depression, that also stampede the toxically injured into the perceived safe harbor of the Establishment.

Toxic Injury, like fear mongering, produces a blind loyalty to the establishment.  Our hidden rulers are going to need the masses to be fearful, loyal and compliant when the dollar loses 50-75% of it's purchasing power and our organized crime rulers confiscate bank deposits and pensions when they can't counterfeit the dollar anymore.

If they can kill off 25-50% of the public with Ebola or the toxic mandatory vaccine that's in the works, then that's less armed and pissed off citizens they have to deal with.

The sheeple have no clue that they are an extinct, poisoned species that was captured 100 years ago in the 1913 Fed Act by EU organized crime and their army of Jesuit, Masonic and Zionist agents using secrecy, fraud, bribery and death threats to attain their goals and disabling challenges to their domination.

Duncan arrived in United States 20 Sept. Symptoms 24 Sept.  1st trip to Emergency Room 25 Sept and sent home. Second time to hospital 28 Sept. Died 8 Oct. In country 14 days total.

Symptoms 24 Sept,,,,6 days +14 Oct =20 days. I'd say we know soon if others will get the virus.

There are three flaws in your date logic. One is that a relative would catch it on day one of the symptoms (24th) but it is certainly possible they could catch it on the 28th before he goes to the hospital (likelly more vomit and coughing on the 28th anyway). So add 4 days there.

Next, we see the CDC confining the relatives inside the contaminated apartment (whoever thought of that?) for a few more days - before the CDC basically gutted the place and incinerated the contents. Thus a relative could have picked it up while in confinement. Add 3 more days.

Lastly, given the CDC recent accuracy record on Ebola and protocols, how can you trust the 21 day window? Given the spread of this strain of Ebola in Africa, that window may be longer than the 'experts' at CDC think.

Ebola isn`t that easy to catch folks

Really. Then why is it classed as a Level 4 pathogen, which is the most virulent and easy to catch kind?

IMO because of fucking idiots like this author, people who DO come into contact with ebola cases are not taking sufficient precautions. e.g the nurse in Dallas and old Zach T (perhaps).

Level 4 doesn't necessarily mean virulent or easy to catch.  Ebola is probably Level 4 because it is deadly and there is no effective treatment.

Tue, 10/14/2014 - 11:51 | 5328899 Citxmech

Here's the breakdown:

"Biosafety level 4

This level is required for work with dangerous and exotic agents that pose a high individual risk of aerosol-transmitted laboratory infections, agents which cause severe to fatal disease in humans for which vaccines or other treatments are not available, such as Bolivian and Argentine hemorrhagic fevers, Marburg virus, Ebola virus, Lassa virus, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, and various other hemorrhagic diseases. This level is also used for work with agents such as smallpoxthat are considered dangerous enough to require the additional safety measures, regardless of vaccination availability. When dealing with biological hazards at this level the use of a positive pressure personnel suit, with a segregated air supply is mandatory. The entrance and exit of a level four biolab will contain multiple showers, a vacuum room, an ultraviolet light room, and other safety precautions designed to destroy all traces of the biohazard. Multiple airlocks are employed and are electronically secured to prevent both doors from opening at the same time. All air and water service going to and coming from a biosafety level 4 (or P4) lab will undergo similar decontamination procedures to eliminate the possibility of an accidental release."

WTF!!! The FEAR is way beyond anything i've seen before.

And NOBODY on this sight has even seen a sick person.

Even if it is REAL, being scared isn't going to help you live longer.

On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to ZERO.

Does anyone know that Eric Duncan was not some random Liberian pauper, but was in fact a wealthy marketing executive at Bank of America for nearly 15 years before surreptitiously receiving another high-profile position as a top AIDS Management Director for the Peace Corps?

http://jimstonefreelance.com/ebolaeric.html

I thought not.

Funny, though, that the name "Eric Duncan" bandied about in MSM was quickly changed to "Eric Thomas Duncan," and finally to "Thomas Eric Duncan" following this discovery, unless of course there's another 43-year-old Liberian man running around sharing this strangely Westernized name. Questions, questions, everywhere.

Some will doubtlessly read your post and suggest that the family has been infected, whisked away from the public eye in the heat of the Dallas night so as not to frighten people. And this is certainly possible. Or perhaps they are curiously NOT infected, which would raise even more questions than their having contracted Ebola and been hidden. Who the hell knows anymore. Some preparation for the worst, of course, would be prudent. But the fear porn is doubtlessly on, and in my ENTIRE life, not a SINGLE thing the Corporatocracy bootlicker media has EVER told me to be afraid of has been a real threat. Keep an open mind, folks, or risk becoming "part of the herd."
