Ebola and Russia in focus

globalintelhub's picture

We have recently witnessed many 'firsts' such as one of the largest storms in the Pacific, the most severe acute health risk in modern times, and a global financial system on the brink of collapse.  The IMF is warning of 'runs' - and meanwhile, Russia is developing it's new ROSSWIFT system.

It has been reported that the black plague that killed millions in Europe was at least similar to the Ebola now threatening the world:

Most assume that Black Death quickly ravaged the fourteenth century western world was a bacterial bubonic plague epidemic caused by flea bites and spread by rats.  But the Black Death killed a high proportion of Scandinavians -- and where they lived was too cold for fleas to survive. A modern work gives us a clue into this mystery. The “Biology of Plagues” published by Cambridge University Press analyzed 2,500 years of plagues and concluded that the Black Death was caused by a viral hemorrhagic fever pandemic similar to Ebola.  If this view is correct, the future medical and economic impacts from Ebola have been vastly underestimated.

But during medieval times, castles closed their walls and people didn't venture out.  In a modern world of just in time inventory, global airline travel, and healthcare systems being proven to be ineffective, this could exceed any projections.  The World Bank has estimated the economic cost of Ebola could reach $32 Billion by the end of next year.  But this is the same group that forecast a global recovery, and failed to see a looming sub-prime fueled credit crisis that brought down some of Wall Street's largest banks and caused trillions in economic devastation.

In parallel, information is being released on how the CIA controls the media:

If this peaked your curiosity, read about Operation Mockingbird.

If this isn't enough to question the 'as seen on TV' myth, consider that the CDC in conjunction with the DOD owns a patent on this strain of Ebola:

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control owns a patent on a particular strain of Ebola known as "EboBun." It's patent No. CA2741523A1 and it was awarded in 2010. You can view it here. (Thanks to Natural News readers who found this and brought it to our attention.)  Patent applicants are clearly described on the patent as including:

The Government Of The United States Of America As Represented By The Secretary, Department Of Health & Human Services, Center For Disease Control.

The patent summary says, "The invention provides the isolated human Ebola (hEbola) viruses denoted as Bundibugyo (EboBun) deposited with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ("CDC"; Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America) on November 26, 2007 and accorded an accession number 200706291."

It goes on to state, "The present invention is based upon the isolation and identification of a new human Ebola virus species, EboBun. EboBun was isolated from the patients suffering from hemorrhagic fever in a recent outbreak in Uganda."

Savvy investors are mostly aware how the markets are manipulated, either through the PPT, large phantom flash orders on interest rate derivatives, naked short positions on metal futures, and so on.  But in the case of being misled in the markets, the worst that can happen to you is you lose money (unless you are one of the poor souls who work for a large bank doing these deeds in which case you might find yourself stabbed in the back 10 times).

But Ebola affects both real actors in the economy (people) and also business vectors, such as import/export, business travel, and a potentially rapidly declining consumer base.  Also consider how will Ebola affect the spending patterns of businesses and consumers?

Apocalyptic scenes of frantic people buying all overpriced supplies is common to those who have lived in Florida through more than one hurricane season; price gouging, fights over last remaining items, shops being closed and prolonged loss of electricity are only some of the highlights of such an experience.  But an Ebola outbreak, in any form, can mean a real lockdown of entire parts of society.

On the other side of the world, Russia is developing their own Ebola vaccine, a new ROSSWIFT payment system which will even include the isolated Iran, and has shut down the previously most popular McDonald's in the world in Moscow's busy Pushkin Square.  The British journalist has the gaul (or the orders from the CIA as explained by this whistle blower) to suggest that the Russian economy will suffer by closing the golden arches.  McDonald's (MCD) has more than 400 locations in Russia and employees mostly Russian workers.  Is this to suggest that McDonald's is somehow the linchpin supporting the domestic Russian economy, or that Russia is incapable of making their own fast food chain (such as Teremok). Or does this guy think that like most Americans, Russians do not know how to cook for themselves?  Let's have a look inside this symbol of Capitalism:

I guess Russians will have to suffer with their inferior Teremok, that by the way offers caviar, blintzes, and a tasty slightly alcoholic beverage "Kvass" (1.2% alcohol, not classified as alcoholic beverage in Russia).  Maybe Russians will start to question why they have been eating BigMac's filled with hormoes and genetically modified ingredients since 1990, which are clearly superior to Borscht, Medovukha, and caviar filled pancakes.

But unfortunately for US based investors, it will be forbidden to invest in Russia's post-sanction boom.  Similar to the Forex firewall built around the US regulatory jurisdiction, US companies will be forbidden to invest in Russia and participate in such a boom.  Already Exxon is not happy about missing out on a joint Rosneft project in the Arctic, which can yield 100 billion barrels of oil.

Let's hope.. that hope can fuel our cars and trucks.. and hope for our German friends that hope can fuel their homes this winter..

I think with virulent and highly destructive pandemics like Smallpox that today they are even less controllable given the hyper mobile world and highly concentrated cities.

You have 8 million people travelling through Tokyo's major train station each day....in four major rush hours.....packed like sardines....now what an ideal way for a disease to spread ever so quickly.

"...too cold for fleas to survive"

seriously? How cold? Like so cold a flea can't survive... snuggled in the armpits of a Scandinavian human? So cold a Rattus Norvegicus... freezes, even in his nest under a pile of steaming manure? And so his fleas too? Can a rat survive the cold and yet get rid of it's fleas, or are we talking of a cold that killed all rats in Scandinavia? What about... milk cows? The provider of Scandi staple foods? No barns?

Is there any evidence for this re-writing of history besides a fancy theory on how cold it is in the southern regions of Scandinavia, where most people live?

However.. it is claimed by other researchers that they've isolated the genetic material of the "Black Plague".
http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/notrocketscience/2011/10/12/scientists...
And, whatever it was, it has, through survival of those with a immunologic defence, shaped the human genetic development (as would all big events)
http://www.pnas.org/content/111/7/2668.abstract

hypothesis: what about two pandemics.. one heamorragic fever, or retrovirus weakening the immune response, and the Yarsinia Pestis piggyback riding on it?

Tue, 10/14/2014 - 08:54 | 5328129 Ghordius
Ghordius's picture

excellent hypothesis, though it begs the question why two pandemics have to be conjured when one would suffice, in a medieval world without any idea of hygiene or antibiotics

the Black Plague was not the only historic plague. The most famous were the Plague of Athens, the Antonine Plague, the Plaque of Justinian,  the Great Plague of London and the Third Pandemic

True. Why the hypothesis? Because the spread of the Black Plague doesn't exactly match what you'd expect from the Bubonic Plague, and that in such an environment there can be many pathogens, it's just that in normal circumstances the immunesystem takes care of it. I can't help but notice that the same is true for today, many pathogens are still around, but are not causing pandemics.
Ppl. that contract HIV suffer from all kinds of diseases, their immune system is shot to hell.

A sudden onslaught of some virus that attacks the immune system could bring about a second pandemic, in the highly mobile (but slower) world of the later middle ages, which, because of simular symptomes, could have masked the existence of the first one. They lived very close to animals, and had a parasite problem, in flees.
But there's a serious problem with bedbugs I read, right now, and there's nasty ticks, carriers of Lyme disease when I'm walking my dog in the forest.
The healthcare systems in the USA, U.K. and other countries aren't exactly optimal. We're only a couple of days away from total (financial) collapse and chaos every day. In that way the system in the Middle Ages was more resillient (decentralized).

Different vectors - Plague was spread by fleas.....

Ebola would be more akin to Smallpox - spread person to person, and the capability to become epidemic and scary in its symptoms, and kill many million (400 million deaths during the 20th century).

AS many as Smallpox killed, Ebola possibly has a higher death rate....pandemic on the same order as Smallpox would be the global nightmare of the millenia.

Smallpox also had a hemorrhagic version of types (2%).

Smallpox was as equally scary..

You should probably read the article again. From the article

But the Black Death killed a high proportion of Scandinavians -- and where they lived was too cold for fleas to survive

and concluding from that that the Black Death was probably not plague and something else like Ebola.

Most Americans rarely think about Russia, for good or bad. Sorry, just telling it like it is.

The main reason for this is that Russia is small. The GDP of Russia is $2trillion, which is 1/8 of USA. Russia is about same GDP as Australia or Canada, despite having 5x as many people.

Russia should grow its economy, about 4x as big to be considered on the world stage.

What does "growing the economy" even mean?  The Kingdom of Heaven is within.  It is as difficult for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven as it is for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle.  Just look at the Wall Street banksters and their big Golden Calf.  If being rich made them happy, why do they need so much coke and hookers?

Contagionoia + Terrornoia + GovCorp = Goodbye Individual/Rights/Liberty/Freedom (life).

Have no way of knowing the veracity of the research contained herein, but along with Jon Rappaport's 'contrarian' offerings, recommend these links to the conversation. I too would like to know more about why the US bio-warfare researchers were there, and which corporations get to make the most out of Ebola Inc. Clearly the best way to lock down a country, force everybody to submit to 'testing' (collect DNA and/or other biometrics, recieve implant as 'proof of test' etc) is Contagion/Pandemic psyop.

Please expalin how a "doctor" (don't know of what speciality) goes for so many years telling lies as he calls them and then stutters, stopping occasionally to read the teleprompter, to come clean and confess his sins.  Russian TV, just like the MSM has been blaring out lie after lie on the Ukrainian war. Yes, there are lies but Russia is in by no way clean. Putin said there were no Russian soldiers  (The Little Green Men) involved in the Crimea seizure in March but Russia had authorized a medal to be struck in February honoring the heroes who were involved.  The photojournalists gathered hundreds of photos of similarly clad soldiers in Russian uniforms and field gear (not bought on E Bay I can tell you) driving blacked-out ID trucks. Putin then confessed they wer ehis in May.  And then one story after another in the eastern Ukraine fight. The little boy claimed crucified on a square on a street that didn't exist in that town.  I don't believe a word on Channel 1 nor do I watch CNN.  So few good journalists Good ones in Russia are murdered

Similar figures were produced by the CPJ.[40] In a June 2007 statement the CPJ said, "A total of 47 journalists have been killed in Russia since 1992, with the vast majority of killings unsolved,".[20] Seventeen of these journalists had been killed "in the line of duty" since 2000: 14 were murdered in retaliation for their journalism; "two died in crossfire; and one was killed while covering a dangerous assignment". The CPJ was continuing to investigate the deaths of eight other journalists to see if there was a link with their work. None of the 14 murders committed since 2000 had been solved, the CPJ said, and "13 bear the marks of contract hits".[20]

Pressure on the Russian authorities increased in late 2006 after the murder of Anna Politkovskaya. In June 2007 the board of the World Association of Newspapers passed a resolution, calling on the authorities in Russia to "investigate journalist deaths more vigorously":[41]  Wikipedia

WHAT have the RUSSIANS ever done for US?

Given us a cure for ebola?
Yes, but besides giving us a cure for ebola, WHAT have the RUSSIANS ever done for US?

Well, the Russians were the "Russ", who were the Viking oarsmen, and the Viking Leif Erikson discovered America long before Columbus, so we could say the Russians discovered America?

Yes, but besides giving us a cure for ebola, and discovering America, WHAT have the RUSSIANS ever done for US?

Invented the helicopter, which we use to airlift people from severe accidents to hospitals?

Yes, but besides giving us a cure for ebola, and discovering America, and inventing the helicopter, WHAT have the RUSSIANS ever done for US?

Tchaikovsky, Tolstoy, and many other literary and musical greats?

Yes, but besides giving us a cure for ebola, and discovering America, and inventing the helicopter, and giving us many literary and musical greats, WHAT have the RUSSIANS ever done for US?

Wore the Nazis down so we could beat them?

Yes, but besides giving us a cure for ebola, and discovering America, and inventing the helicopter, and giving us many literary and musical greats, and wearing the Nazis down so we could beat them, WHAT have the RUSSIANS ever done for US?

Started the space-race, which now gives us weather satellites and a space station and missions to Mars and Venus and cameras which can photograph distant galaxies?

Yes, but besides giving us a cure for ebola, and discovering America, and inventing the helicopter, and giving us many literary and musical greats, and wearing the Nazis down so we could beat them, and starting the space-race, WHAT have the RUSSIANS ever done for US?
