Stocks Slide So Something Breaks
The rigged USDJPY clockwork has metastasized to the entire SYNK & Poor's 500, where if there is a selloff, something must immediately break to halt the downward momentum.
Today's case in point comes courtesy of the CBOE and the CBOE Futures Exchange where moments ago, we got the now daily red light which now accompanies every single sell off.

USD/JPY is the key to whether or not this market holds. The 50 DMA is 106.787 and that is the level to watch and given the fact that every other major indicie has broken, I expect USD/JPY to take the S&P 500 even lower. Put on your seatbelts because the next 2 weeks are going to be even more insane than the last 2.

Anyone done a statistical analysis of breaks when going up vs breaks when going down?
Statistically, if there is no correlation or causation[1] it should be equally likely.
[1] e.g. Someone screaming TURN THOSE MACHINES OFF down a phone line.
