The Idiotic Explanation Why The "Idiot With The Clipboard" Was Unprotected

Tyler Durden's picture

Phoenix Air has released a statement explaining why the now infamous non-HazMat-wearing 'clipboard man' seen in close proximity to Dallas Ebola patient Amber Vinson (while the rest of the members of staff are fully protected) was unprotected... and it will blow your mind.

Why is "Clipboard Man" not wearing protective gear?

Phoenix Air responds (via ABC News)...

The airline confirmed to ABC News that the man was their medical protocol supervisor who was purposefully not wearing protective gear.

"Our medical professionals in the biohazard suits have limited vision and mobility and it is the protocol supervisor’s job to watch each person carefully and give them verbal directions to insure no close contact protocols are violated," a spokesperson from Phoenix Air told ABC News said.

"There is absolutely no problem with this and in fact insures an even higher level of safety for all involved," the spokesperson said.

*  *  *

So - in summary - due to the restrictive vision when wearing an Ebola-protective suit, one member of staff must be sacrificed/exposed to ensure no one trips?

And these are who we are supposed to trust?

Here is the full sequence of events involving "clipboard guy" via the Mail:

Is he with the CDC? Both the ambulance company and Emory University Hospital said the unprotected man with the clipboard (center) is not one of their employees - meaning he is likely a CDC employee

Formaldehyde is a gas at room temperature, but the gas readily converts to a variety of derivatives. These derivatives generally behave similarly to gaseous formaldehyde and are used in industry. One important derivative is the cyclic compound trioxane, the "trimer" of formaldehyde with formula is (CH2O)3. When dissolved in water, formaldehyde converts to H2C(OH)2, a diol (i.e. a compound with two hydroxy groups). Aqueous solutions of formaldehyde are referred to as formalin. "100%" formalin consists of a saturated solution of formaldehyde (this is about 40% by volume or 37% by mass) in water, with a small amount of stabilizer, usually methanol to limit oxidation and degree of polymerization. A typical commercial grade formalin may contain 10–12% methanol in addition to various metallic impurities. The diol also exists in equilibrium with a series of short polymers (called oligomers), depending on the concentration and temperature. The infinite polymer formed from formaldehyde is called paraformaldehyde. The cyclic trimer is called metaformaldehyde (or 1,3,5-trioxane).

Reminds me of a similar situation in which a building I was in was being searched for a bomb by the army with police dogs.  Yet the building wasn't evacuated.  I actually got in hot water for pointing this out as it was decided the building really should be emptied and thus profits were lost that day.  No kidding.

On October 16th, 2009 the Council on Foreign Relations, a powerful Globalist think tank met in New York to discuss policy advisement measures on the Government’s H1N1 program. The minutes of the symposium reveal various techniques employed behind the scenes to influence the ‘herd’; including using artificial scarcity to increase demand, blatant fear mongering & counter measures to quell the “anti-vaccine movement”. The program was clearly in disarray.

“I think what would work better would be to say that there was a shortage and people tend to buy more of something that’s in demand (laughter). We saw that— there was one season where, really, people lined up all night to get a flu shot (more laughter).” Lone Simonsen, Research Director at the Dep’t of Global Health, George Washington University

The article failed to mention the clipboard has special antibodies developed by CDC virologists to ward off any possibility of contagion from the Ebola virus. The plain clothed man simply has to hold onto it and he is protected.

Everyone should get a clipboard to be safe from Ebola. Don't worry about the cost, Obamacare covers it.

The kill rate has gone from 50% to 70% NOT because the virus has strengthened and gotten more dangerous, but because the African healthcare system has completely disintegrated. There is nothing left. As it was they had restricted access to clean water and very limited sanitation (in some places none). Now they have no health workers, no place to go, no access to clean water, and sanitation systems that are completely compromised. Everyone is getting it because of how dire their situation is to contain it. They need help. Now if other countries really wanted to help they would "feverishly" (excuse the pun) work on a vaccine and, even more importantly, a rapid and affordable test for Ebola so that individuals could be treated early before they are spewing biohazard everywhere, and meanwhile work hard in an organized fashion to bring South Africa's healthcare system back online as much as possible. Cuba actually has the right idea. Bless their hearts. There is no way to keep panicked people from moving around and the more the virus spreads the wider the area where it will be found and the harder it will become to contain it. Travel bans via airline will only be effective for a relatively short period of time if the number of cases continues to explode. The people walking around unprotected apparently believe that the virus is not airborne and unless they come in very close contact with the victim are not at risk. While most of us would err on the side of caution (i.e. we don't want to be in the same country, let alone room with infected persons), but in any case, many of these healthcare workers are heros.

If we revert to the mean, population growth wise before 1900, we should be back around 2-3 billion. That means 3-4 billion deaths in the next few decades. Perhaps a lot sooner.

This is just by looking at a chart of population growth since the 1800's.

Funny how Ebola shows when all the cheap oil and metal is getting scarce. And funny how it's killing people where resources are still plentiful.

The CDC has decided that Ebola does not spread by aerosol transmission but instead by direct contact with body fluids, or something like that .  Since they believe in their own science, the clipboard man is NOT STRANGE.  A caveot to this is if the Ebola strain is something new that does spread by aerosol, in which case clipboard man will be in a position to change official science knowledge/policy by his exposure.  In any event, clipboard man is doing a good job for us.  No need to castigate the CDC for believing in their own science.

Consider this more proof of an incompetent government. The government is not the most efficient organization in the world.  High profile incidents covered by the media often reassures the public that the government stands ready to rush to our aid in case of a national disaster. Following a tornado or hurricane in the newscast we see FEMA workers spread-out and moving from door to door offering help to Americans in need.

This reassuring media coverage is misleading. Be prepared that in the case of a major crisis or disaster if you find yourself in an large area of devastation the government will prove largely ineffective. If and when a really large Armageddon event does occur we will quickly become acutely aware that God helps those who help themselves. More on this subject in the article below.
