Obama Appoints Lobbyist/PR Flack As Ebola Czar
Obama has appointed Ron Klain as the Ebola Czar.
Klain has no medical or healthcare background whatsoever.
Instead, he’s a high-powered lobbyist. He helped the corrupt Fannie Mae to overcome “regulatory issues” in 2004. Wikipedia notes:
Klain [helped in] convincing Congress and Fannie Mae’s regulators that Fannie Mae wasn’t doing anything dangerous, and wasn’t exposing taxpayers to risk. In other words, Ron Klain got paid to help fuel the housing bubble up until a couple of years before it popped.
Klain also:
Represented a company facing asbestos-exposure lawsuits, the embattled drugmaker ImClone and two companies trying to win support for large mergers.
What’s he going to do … lobby to convince Congress that Ebola is not that big a risk?
Klain is also a major Democratic operative, serving as Chief of Staff for Vice Presidents Al Gore and Joe Biden. As such, it is not unlikely that he will be motivated to cover up for any missteps by Obama and CDC chair Tom Frieden.

I look up and see people wearing t-shirts that say, guess what, Walk for a Cure, printed in pink. Three people, not wearing these t-shirts, are also talking about cancer and folks they know with cancer. There's money in them there boobs, and I don't mean breasts.

In talking w/a handful of inside-the-beltway types last night, they were to a man astounded at the ineptness of this choice. Most of these guys are/were dyed in the wool Democrats and were just thunderstruck at the complete stupidity of this appointment. In short, these guys were Obola's core/base.
I think it's great. It simply reinforces the utter incompetence of Dear Leader and his total desperation to save the sinking ship...by putting a lawyer in charge of the bucket brigade.

This guy is there to draw up the legal basis for some type of national emergency. We're well past needing a doctor here.
I would argue whatever order is given it should be ignored "awaiting further details.". Especially if no consultations with Congress are envisioned...as clearly these criminals are not envisioning at this point.

I agree with you and let me take that one step further.
1. this is the first president to allow ebola to be imported into america, despite all prior protocols and all good judgment and common sense (god forbid).
2. this is the first president to fly 3000 untrainted troops right straight into the hot zone, basically using them a geopolitical pawns (no surprise there)
3. the pattern of lie/change story/obfuscate/repeat is not a new thing for Obunghole, however they are all doing it like clockwork now.
