The Biggest Threat To America

Tyler Durden's picture

Presented with no comment...

Q: "Who is going to defend the country without the Army?"

Zappa: "From what? The biggest threat to America is its own federal government... Will the Army protect anybody from the FBI? The IRS? The CIA? The Republican Party? The Democratic Party?... The biggest dangers we face today don't even need to sneak past our billion-dollar defense systems... they issue the contracts for them."

Article 1 section 8 says we shall not fund an army for longer than 2 years..

and that army shall be made up from the militias of the several states..

that was the deal, the feds got the navy, states got the army..

and the 2nd ammendment...the militia..and having ready troops availible..used to be a federal crime NOT to own a firearm, if you were  a man between 15 and 45 years of age..and there was a HUGE business in militia rifles and equipment..you also had to have a knapsack, a cartrige box, belt, mould and 2 flints...FEDERAL LAW!

and thats why they have congressional appointments to WEST POINT...trained engineer officers for state regiments..you owed your state 5 years after graduation...again,,that was the deal..

wonder why they changed that one...

so much for states rights..

I'm obsessed 'n deranged
I have existed for years
But very little had changed
I am the tool of the Government
And industry too
For I am destined to rule
And regulate you

I may be vile and pernicious
But you can't look away
I make you think I'm delicious
With the stuff that I say
I am the best you can get
Have you guessed me yet?
I am the slime oozin' out
From your TV set

You will obey me while I lead you
And eat the garbage that I feed you
Until the day that we don't need you
Don't got for help...no one will heed you
Your mind is totally controlled
It has been stuffed into my mold
And you will do as you are told
Until the rights to you are sold

Yes he was definitely on to something

"the constitution has been suspended we are under admiralty law now"

I cannot find the "suspension" clause in the Constitution, so I would say that it is still in effect.

Therefore, the DC US, United States, is nothing more than a criminal organization as per the the "law of the land, the Constitution.

An American, not US subject.

Note: The Constitution is more important now than it ever was, as it is the one and only possible unifying entity for the American people against the criminals of the DC US. If we embrace it, with all of its flaws, then we will have a standard, and a goal, to work towards in our efforts to Restore the American people and country. We will also have a yardstick by which to measure the degree of criminality of those that have usurped the American people.

If we do not embrace the Constitution, including its flaws, then we will be destined to fight one another more so than the all consuming fire raging around us. In the end, all will be consumed by the fire, even the victor of our struggles against one another. The only victory possible then is against the fire; the fire that is their criminality against the us, the American people, the American country.

'"the constitution has been suspended we are under admiralty law now"'

'I cannot find the "suspension" clause in the Constitution, so I would say that it is still in effect.'

In 1933, the Constitution For the United States was put into a state of suspended animation. In its' place, via Executive Orders, the parallel socialist federal Government was put into place due to the declared bankruptcy of the Constitutional federal government.

These executive orders, for the most part, have never been recinded. You live with the SS act, the dept. of ag, and all kinds of other things, and don't even think about it (as you were born with them already established). Never questioning, you signed up for your S.S. number VOLUNTARILY (or one was automatically forced upon you at birth, as this has now transpired in MY lifetime).

http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/executive_orders.php?year=1933

Article 1, sections 8 and 10 (in regards to legal currency), were SUSPENDED by the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. Don't you KNOW that?

USA corp is, and probably always was, a British colony, now a colony of the City of London banksters. We are not and never were a party to the US Constitution. We are under admirality jurisdiction administered through contract law and the UCC. The constitution is completely irrelevant, sorry to say. The creditors to the 1933 bankruptcy own each and every one of us.

We are under admiralty but only under contract as it is contract law.  The Constitution is not suspended but allows more jurisdictions than common law.  Birth cert, SSN, these are some of the contracts that sign you up as a "citizen".

"The son is not the father.  A beyond ignorant comment."

NO SHIT?

Example #1: Rand Paul vs. Ron Paul.

Actually the argument to be made that could EASILY negate your statement would be 'George Walker Bush vs. George Herbert Walker Bush'.

Sometimes the son IS just like the father (but dumber), and sometimes, he's nothing like him at all.

Too much Operation MKULTRA shit happened to the children of the higher military commanders in the 1960's to place genuine faith in any of those (Zappa, Morrison, etc.). Zappa was probably touched less by it, and he is still alive (I think). Hell, the fucker cursed his kids with tweaker names ('Moon Unit', and 'Dweezil', for fuck sakes!) so he's not quite, um, 'thoughtful'. A young Indian brave asked the chief how children got their names. The chief replied that the father would be awaiting the birth and observe nature to choose the correct name for his child. 'Why do you ask, Two Dogs Fucking?'. Zappa was probably stoned out of his mind watching the TV when one of the Apollo missions was taking place.

Frank Zappa WAS correct in his statement given in the article (in my opinion), and he's free to name his kids whatever he wants to (but that doesn't mean I would hire a kid named 'Dweezil', because of a suspicion that his genetics were fucked up by whatever drugs his parents used to do before he/she was born that caused them to pick this fucked-up name; and the chance of a psycotronic displacement (fucking SNAPPING) at work might not be beneficial for co-workers). That would be like voting for an illegal alien Kenyan with a forged birth certificate who was raised by communists and is named Barry Soetoro (nee. Barack Hussein Obama).

I believe this is what he's referring to:

http://www.davesweb.cnchost.com/nwsltr93.html

During the early years of its heyday, Laurel Canyon’s father figure is the rather eccentric personality known as Frank Zappa. Though he and his various Mothers of Invention line-ups will never attain the commercial success of the band headed by the admiral’s son, Frank will be a hugely influential figure among his contemporaries. Ensconced in an abode dubbed the ‘Log Cabin’ – which sat right in the heart of Laurel Canyon, at the crossroads of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Lookout Mountain Avenue – Zappa will play host to virtually every musician who passes through the canyon in the mid- to late-1960s. He will also discover and sign numerous acts to his various Laurel Canyon-based record labels. Many of these acts will be rather bizarre and somewhat obscure characters (think Captain Beefheart and Larry “Wild Man” Fischer), but some of them, such as psychedelic rocker cum shock-rocker Alice Cooper, will go on to superstardom.

Zappa, along with certain members of his sizable entourage (the ‘Log Cabin’ was run as an early commune, with numerous hangers-on occupying various rooms in the main house and the guest house, as well as in the peculiar caves and tunnels lacing the grounds of the home; far from the quaint homestead the name seems to imply, by the way, the ‘Log Cabin’ was a cavernous five-level home that featured a 2,000+ square-foot living room with three massive chandeliers and an enormous floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace), will also be instrumental in introducing the look and attitude that will define the ‘hippie’ counterculture (although the Zappa crew preferred the label ‘Freak’). Nevertheless, Zappa (born, curiously enough, on the Winter Solstice of 1940) never really made a secret of the fact that he had nothing but contempt for the ‘hippie’ culture that he helped create and that he surrounded himself with.

Given that Zappa was, by numerous accounts, a rigidly authoritarian control-freak and a supporter of U.S. military actions in Southeast Asia, it is perhaps not surprising that he would not feel a kinship with the youth movement that he helped nurture. And it is probably safe to say that Frank’s dad also had little regard for the youth culture of the 1960s, given that Francis Zappa was, in case you were wondering, a chemical warfare specialist assigned to – where else? – the Edgewood Arsenal. Edgewood is, of course, the longtime home of America’s chemical warfare program, as well as a facility frequently cited as being deeply enmeshed in MK-ULTRA operations. Curiously enough, Frank Zappa literally grew up at the Edgewood Arsenal, having lived the first seven years of his life in military housing on the grounds of the facility. The family later moved to LancasterCalifornia, near Edwards Air Force Base, where Francis Zappa continued to busy himself with doing classified work for the military/intelligence complex. His son, meanwhile, prepped himself to become an icon of the peace & love crowd. Again, nothing unusual about that, I suppose.

The drug/rock counterculture was launched, by the same enemies we have today, to destroy the cultural optimism generated by the space program. Instead of a bumper crop of scientists and engineers who would have moved us off of good old Earth and to the near planets, we ended manned exploration of the solar system in the seventies.  Hmm, about the time the Bretton Woods system collapsed and the economy flipped from being based on the rapid introduction of new technology for industry to an economy based on financial speculation. Yeah, and the assassination of Kennedy and the Viet Nam war put the icing on that cake.

Little known fun fact: Dick Cheney and Charlie Manson were pretty good friends in their late teens. They use to eat copious quantities of 'shrooms and torture small animals together at their commune in the valley. They often headed out in the wee hours of the night and returned with a multitude of dog, cat and assorted rodent 'prisoners' or already-dead carcasses - some of them presumed to be pets reported missing in the nearby neighborhoods. They would pose the animal bodies in a sort of dead-animal villiage engaged in various human activities. The two would play with them for hours, treating them as small people - berating them constantly, yelling at them for a variety of imagined offenses and occasionally sentencing them to 'The Hole' - some kind of torture chamber fashioned out of an old rain barrel. They kept it locked and never let anyone else look inside the barrel. One can only imagine.

Manson also use to treat Cheney as if his imagination was simple and inferior, rearranging the animals Cheney had posed and giving them different names that Cheney had chosen. This caused Dick a great deal of distress, pushing him further over the edge into his psychotic abyss. At times, Cheney would seem to be in heated arguments with Manson even though Charlie was no where to be seen. Their friendship ended when they were busted shoplifting burritos one afternoon at an Encino convenience store. Cheney rolled on Manson and was released. He soon headed off to Yale for the final phase of his Satanic indoctrination. Charlie? Well, we all know how he turned out.

he was a wonderful contrarian.  zappa hated the drug culture of his time.  he thought only fools take drugs.  he wasn't interested at all in groupies.  he once said something like he needed intellectual stimulation from a woman, not just empty sex.

and, of course, one of his more memorable quotes:

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”

Stanhope is a genius, and I'd rate him, fwiw, as both a better pure stand up and deeper thinker than either Hicks or Carlin.

Carlin was great - huge body of work, but there's a lot of garbage over the years, speckled with the odd gem - like a latter day Dylan, if you sit through the catalogue and not just the greatest hits - you might be a little disappointed.

Stanhope deserves much more attention - fortunately most of his stuff is always on youtube.

Every month or so I have to give my spill. Somehow you just triggered it so here it goes love it or hate it. I just wish I could get a Frank Zappa t shirt.  Please take this in the right context. My whole beef is that we have to be problem  solvers. I guess I read into your comment from my perspective "all we do is bitch all day long".  really I feel the problem is that as humans we have only had one real recourse to dire situations - violence, war. We call ourselves "and intellengent species" yet we don't really behave as such. Down deep we know those people "over there" are very much like us. given the right excuse though we would have no problem killing them all, right after we get out of church and get some lunch.  This is what I thnk and please add your imput I just want to generate some thought. #1  We operate on perspecive because through time we have as humans had to make life or death decisions without the benefit of all the available info. Our brain is 60,000 times the power of a desktop yet we often come to a conclusion which is less than logical or rational. #2 we choose leaders - these are individuals whom we believe have superior attributes for a certain circumstance. Also it is easier for one person to "decide" or come to a conclusion than 10,000 poster who often never accomplish anything. # 3 the last 100 years are unlike any previous. Our techmology is in orbit, which is good and bad because the same apes who lived 10,000 years ago are running the show. #4 100 brains working together are better than 1 brain with power and all the personal  issues attached to the owner of that brain ( collective intelligence) We must make the leader for all practical purposes obsolete. We must evolve or advance with our technology. #4 Epistimology - logic as a justified true belief, a semi science hundreds of years old gathering dust because we would rather solve problems the old fashioned way, deception, violence. #5 Technology is our friend, if we can make robots that talke we can create software which indentifies fallacies an organizes logical thought. #6 We own our percetions, conclusions. We can't dissaciate ourselves form them. what if your "opinion" was entirely 100% unassociated with you, lived or died on merit. #7 Conclusions that are reviewable 24/7 forever, available for critique and improvememt

In high school speech class we had to do a pantomine. A girl in my class chose (don't know the song) a Zappa record that had a defect in it. All I can remember is that the record skipped & kept repeating "Let's all rip off our drawers and get a little, get a little, get a little".

If you were the POTUS and you wanted to radically transform the nation, would your plan look something like this:

1. Be complicit with extremely dovish Central Bank policy in the hopes that the value of equities and homes would surge higher (and in the process making shareholders and homeowners wealthier and thus pacifying them).

2. Be complicit with corporations slashing jobs and outsourcing jobs and repurchasing shares to help push equity markets higher (and in the process making shareholders wealthier and thus pacifying them).

3. Be pro-immigration to curry favor with immigrants (Latinos in particular - which are a rapidly growing demographic who often appear to vote Democrat) and curry favor with corporations who want (a) a bigger pool of cheap labor and (b) more consumers (and in the process pleasing certain immigrants and corporations and thus pacifying them).

4. Promote universal health care (to the extent possible) in the hopes of benefitting those who can not afford insurance (and in the process pacifying both those who can not afford insurance and big insurance companies who seem to be benefiting handsomely from Obamacare).

5. Fully support government aid in its many stripes (and in the process pacifying the large Free Stuff Army).

6. Once you have pacified enough people so they will not oppose you, go about your business of making fundamental changes to the nation. Once the current POTUS leaves office, who knows how drastically different it will have been transformed.

Pretty devious business... and many in the MSM love the POTUS... every step of the way.
